Really nice place! Staff was super friendly, people there also. I slept in the 6 beds room, everything was fine. Bed was comfortable, I had my own locker.

I was denied even a partial refund of a reservation only 20 minutes old. That is just greedy and shows no desire for return business when that cost them nothing, only being it off the market for such a short time.

Friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped kitchen. Very good location for a hostel in a quiet area. I stayed there already twice. I would definitely return.

They have three buildings attached to each other. All getting cleaned every day. The best equipped kitchen i've seen at a hostel, they got pretty much everything. The staff was the best, contacted me before the trip even started. They react usually within 10 minutes on Whatsapp. The hostel has the option to join activities with their partners like Surfing at Guincho beach, Yoga in the park and also yoga on a SUP board on the atlantic. We have met some amazing people, especially on the international dinner on friday. This presented the opportunity to meet new people, we went for karaoke after 🤣 Our room did not have air conditioning but a ventilator, which did its job. Would definitely visit again if i have the chance.

I’m 20 and this was my first hostel experience. I felt very safe and relaxed, even more than a hotel because the reception is very welcoming and the kitchen and dining area just like at home. The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms too, you get even a towel and a locker to keep stuff. There’s a guitar in the hall so I played just as if I was home. The people that come to there are also very nice. There was some noise going on at 8am because they were cleaning a bed, and there was some light coming through too. It was a great experience and I hope I’ll come back again!

Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly welcoming staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. I have stayed at this hostel on numerous occasions and the location is close to the centre of town. Many thanks to the staff. Alzira - UK

A really fantastic hostel. Ideally located in quiet street, in Cascais within walking distance of the Paula Rego art gallery which is an unmistakable place, modern architecture with fantastic pictures and exhibition of Paula's work, which is feminist art which rivals Picasso. Can highly recommend this hostel. Friendly staff. Clean and well run. Whilst we were there they cooked everyone a delicious vegetarian meal. After leaving I fell and cut my knee and hand on granite setts a few streets away. I walked back and they dressed my wound and cleaned hand and knee. Very kind people.

It's ok, but the staff could be friendlier. I accidentally lost my key card and had to pay 5 euros for it, a bit too much for a card with an NFC chip in it...

I spent a total of one month at Ljmonade Hostel. From the first day I felt like home here. The rooms are cozy, the staff is always in a good mood and cheerful (no wonder, Cascais is just a wonderful place that puts you in a good mood). The bathrooms and even the kitchen were always kept super clean. The terrace invites you to linger. Not only the hostel itself is wonderful, but also the neighborhood. The hostel is not far from the beach and all the good restaurants in Cascais. My highlight: the weekly dinner, where everyone gets together and you can make new friends. Thank you for everything, I felt very comfortable here at all times and can recommend everyone to spend longer stays here as well.

The lady in the office Mariana was so nice and helpful, we loved common areas, well designed, guest friendly, free coffee, kitchen was great, well equipped. We wished to stay there more. After our stay in Cascais we went to Lizbon, but I suggest to stay more in Cascais, great beaches, Sintra was great too. Lizbon was too crowded so We returned back to Cascais after 2 days 🤭

It’s a very cozy hostel, located in the beautiful area of Cascais. The stuff is super friendly, feels like you’re spending time with your friends. If you gonna be somewhere around it’s a perfect place to stay.

This is a very sweet hostel, with a very friendly staff and a nice environment. A lot of events are organized, making it perfect to meet new people and open your Horizont! I've been to multiple dinners (free for guests!!) and also stand up paddling and yoga, which all were high quality activities and I have gained so many nice memories from it! It's close to the city center and the beach, clean and easy to access. I can only recommend!!

The style of the hostel (the colours, decorations, etc.) was very cheerful and bright. The family feeling and diner together was cosy and great. The staff was very friendly, instantly from the first contact, helpful and good at thinking along.

My first experience in a hostel and it was alright we got a private room it was pretty basic not to much storage. And it gets prety hot with no ac. But the location is perfect, 5 minute walk from downtown cascais

Nice hostel with private rooms, quite clean, a few common rooms, and terrace, some free food and snacks, friendly staff. When I stayed the crowd wasn't too noisy but everyone was very nice.

I had a really great time in Ljmonade Hostels, Cascais. I volunteered for a month in the hostel and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were great to work with and really helpful with guests. The hostel itself is comfortable and clean. The hostel provides a themed dinner sometimes which is always fun. It is in a great location and there are lots of things to do during the day and in the evening.
