Visited this Restaurant/bar 3 times this week and the gentleman who set it up in 1973 and his all rounder barman Nuno were really good to talk to and friendly. Great place for a nightcap and a relax before heading back to our hotel to bed. Can't comment on the food but seemed very popular and the bar shows plenty of football. Like the set up as in an old railway carriage. Worth a visit.

Very nice place for quick rest after a whole day of sightseeing. Food is really tasty. Seems like the cook knows how to treat ingredients. And the best thing of all is the view for the beach which is all I need by the end of the afternoon. Strongly recommend

This place is close to my heart. Been coming here since the age of 15.....I'm now 53. The food brings back memories of when I used to drop in from the palm beach night club for a bite to eat. Staff efficient food never fails to amaze me. Recently upgraded interior. Very nice but it stole the nostalgia of the old train seats. Still Trem Velho you have a special place in this old boys heart. Thankyou for all the wonderful memories you gave me

Very good burgers! The prices are not cheap, but also not expensive. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The toilets were clean. Card payment is allowed. All in all a perfect experience.

Love this place. Great food choices. Go here often. This week I had the tenderloin steak medium- well. It was cooked to perfection and so delicious!!

Fantastic place to have a drink or dinner overlooking the sea or watching football. The cars have 2 separate areas: one more "sports bar" style with TVs where you can watch sports, and another one more cozy where you can chat over a drink, and also have dinner. I had the Belém hamburger (around €10), very tasty. Without a doubt, to repeat.

Great day out with the girls. We had the burgers which were very good. Great vibe. And awesome service for putting up with a very rowdy bunch of ladies.

Solid lunch spot. Food was okay. I really enjoyed the wings. That’d be my top recommendation. My steak was a bit to rare the first time (ordered medium rare), but when asked to cook more, when it came back it was perfect and very good! Wifi doesn’t work if you’re a tourist and need it. Decent prices and good portions.

Got sizzling prawns with garlic appetiser for sharing and this was excellent. There were 4 in our party. Each had varying experience. Son had a burger that was extremely rare in the middle. This might be acceptable to some but not to his taste so that was a disappointment. I had steak in pepper sauce. The sauce was very nice. I'd asked for medium steak but it was definitely medium rare. It was still OK but I'd have preferred medium. I didn't make a fuss and return it. Other son had pork ribs and sausage and that was very good. Wife had a steak that was cooked as she asked ie well done and that was fine. We had two desserts both eing the oreo mousse which was very nice. So a bit of a mixed experience. Staff were very friendly. It's probably worth another try but not on this trip I'd say.

Avoid this place. The beef with peppers was not good at all. And my wife choose the pasta with shrimps... Both dishes were terrible. 1 extra star for the entries... But... Better look another restaurant if you are in Cascais. About the ambient... The place is close, the tables is near each other. The people that clean the tables uses some liquid and smell all the place around... Yeah... They keep clean... But the people around pay the price
