I was genuinely shocked at how good this place is for this part of the world. 5 ⭐ for the food an service alone. However I'd like to see a better sake and a good Japanese whiskey like nikka. I understand from the staff that the locals just don't get sake, well with chefs of this potential you should be educating your clients for the betterment of the experience that it deserves

Because they do not have an English translated menu, I fear there are not a lot of reviews but this is a very good sushi joint (and I have lived in Japan for an extensive period). The sushi style notably conforms to the Portuguese pallet but the fish quality is good and the ingredients very fresh. They have an extensive menu that our Portuguese is not good enough to interpret so we ordered one of the Chef’s Choice sushi/sashimi combos and were very pleased. In addition, many of the dishes we saw at other tables looked equally delicious.

The taste was fine, but the aesthetic part should be definitely better, and Rainbow role looks weird (last photo)

Congratulations to the chef. Best tempura we have ever experienced. Quaint setting and our hostess, Vitoria, was lovely. She exuded positive energy and was extremely helpful. Will recommend

Best sushi I eat in this part of Portugal

After a takeaway for a friend's dinner, went to lunch next day with family caught by surprise lack of service quality, long time between plates, sushi didn't had same quality as on dinner. Yes, sushi chef was different.

I don’t know if it was the chef, the day, or just bad luck. I do not know how this can be rated a 4.6. The size of the sashimi is very small and to be honest even smaller than the all you can eat places. The quality of the fish was very low to the point one person in our party fell sick after lunch. Staff was friendly enough and the atmosphere is simple and basic local. With the number of sushi joints in the area this must be just for the walking distance crowd. I would not recommend at all.

Beer was dead.. Expensive for what you are paying for. They try to innovate to much on the sushi.. Some are good, others not so much..

Amazing food! The fish is really good quality and the chef makes some amazing combinations. Its a really fun experience as I tried some sushi I never had before!
