Wonderful Campsite for people who are real campers, those with tents that is, not the rolling plastic boxes with all the noise they make. Lovely spots under the pine trees with free choice to pitch. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities clean, plenty of hot water in the showers. Toilet paper and soap provided (other than on most other campsites in Portugal ...) Supermarket at the site and also a few minutes away in the village. 1 km walk to the beach, leading through the dunes, very nice. Booked in for 2 nights but stayed 4 at the end. Payed 10 Euro for 1 person with tent and bicycle per night.

Camping more expensive than the regular in Portugal. Men bathrooms stinks, looks clean but with that smell you dont want to touch anything. Guys in the cafe were very rough with poor maners to comunicate with costumers, their make me felt like a felon just because i enter for an open door from the swimming pool to the cafe. Would be great if they let the door that get you to the beach open. For the rest not the best camping but ok

Well located at the edge of a beautiful coastal dune nature area. Showers were nice and hot, kept clean every day in winte and even the shop and coffee place were open. Shady and sunny spots available. Fantastic coffee place with great views and bio supermarket around the corner. Stayed for two weeks in winter.

Nice location near to village with restaurants. Struggled to find a place for our 7.4 metre motorhome.... they take your money but don't guarantee you will have a space. We were quite cramped during our stay. Typical Orbitur.

Nice campground next to amazing Duna da Cresmina. Beach 1.5 km away, not 0.8 - which is not a problem, as the walk across the dune is sheer pleasure. Sanitaries functional and clean, shop and restaurant on site. Pitches among the trees, really nice but pitch-finding might be tricky in the dark as there is quite a chance to hit branches, especially with higher vehicles - make sure you look up.

Camping for under the trees which means dirty site. Too windy to put outside protective groundsheet down. In 4 days couldnā€™t put chairs out. Couldnā€™t wait to leave. Check the forecast for wind. Groundsman really helpful. Reception attitude is just find your own place. Great location for visiting Sintra and cascĆ”is

Stayed at this site as it was a convenient campsite for Cascais & we could use the buses & visit Lisbon by train. The staff where helpful & we could chose are campervan space. The electric worked well, none tripped out. The facilities could have been better as most sites have been through covid. but everything worked. I must note that after staying in Portugal for 4 weeks you don't get warm water in the wash up areas. Would still use them.

Nice campsite, well located near Cascais and Guincho beach. Highly recommend the local restaurants in Areia - all within easy walking distance. Especially Ataska nā€™Areia - excellent authentic Portuguese cuisine. Very good value

Amazing place with very friendly staff. We spent one night in our tent here and it was a very good experience with a lot of comfort. It is also very close to the sandy beach of Guincho which is a total miracle. I totally recommend this place.

meh.. very expensive, amenities ok, but also no love put into the campsite: dingy showers, no hot water for dishes. 20 minute walk to the beach.

As previously mentioned, itā€™s all a bit dated and the pool was closed during our visit due to ā€˜technical reasonsā€™. The restaurant was fine and very reasonable. Shame you cannot get to the sand dunes behind the camp, but it would appear to be some sort of nature reserve. Tried walking to the beach but itā€™s a long slog. Handy for getting to Cascais on bikes, about 15 minutes. Cascais was lovely with great beach and restaurants. There are rental bikes and electric scooters immediately outside the park, so handy if you donā€™t have them with you. Bike lanes almost the whole way.

Lovely quiet campsite under the pine trees. Not suitable for large caravans or motorhomes because of the size of pitches and difficulty with tree trunks and height of branches. Near Sandy Beach but limited parking by the dunes. 800 metres from campsite so within walking. Reasonable price with Acsi in off peak. Swimming pool open in October when we visited. Also restaurant and mini market on site.

Great place. Will return. People working there are friendly, the cook super nice and the food tasty. Swimming pool perfect for babies. Many families. Lot's of shade and trees for hammocks. We can park where we like. Market is small, so bring some fruit if you need.

A calm campsite offering restaurant and lovely pool with enough pool loungers. Not a 5 rating as bathrooms are terrible. Shower heads and drains are clogged although bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Maintenance team needs to check bathrooms. Pitches are sandy and mostly in shade, somewhat uneven. Perfect for large motorhome. Uber into Cascais 5-6ā‚¬ one way. Pleasant stay.

Clean, but little out dated facilities. Here and there something not working, or requiring maintenance. Very basic super market on site. I mean it - very basic. The place lacks the atmosphere. All common spaces are designed in a cold, hospital style. Nice swimming pool. Overal clean place.the beach access point is 10 minutes walk away, but actual beach / coast line is another 15 minutes further, as you need to walk through the dunes first. So please donā€™t be misled, getting to the beach is a minimum 25 walk / one way. No facilities nearby. Any shops or services require a minimum 3km walk / Drive. We experienced better places in Portugal.

Campsite is nice and has a good atmosphere, pool is a plus with the current heat. The hygiene of the toilet/shower block is below par, toilet paper, hairs in all the stalls and a really bad smell. The price per night is way to high compared to other camosites would not recommend.

Very nice campsite! Close to the beach and Cascais. If you come early you have plenty of spots to choose from. The many trees make it possible to hang hammocks and have shaddow. The swimming pool was closed for maintance the first two days, but opened up the last day. They provide activities for kids and have a nice bar/restaurant with free wifi!

A good camping site, with lots staff and kind personnel. Close to Guincho beach and Cascais, which are both wonderful. Pitches in the shade under pine trees bended by the wind... Good toilets facilities which were kept clean. Pleasant swimming pool. As I am a windsurfer, it was comfortable for me to reach Praia do Guincho spot. Find out more at Waterwind.

Restroom/showers absolutely not clean. Stayed for three nights and restrooms have not been cleaned during that time. Perhaps due to low season (October).

Very nice campsite, facilities clean but old. Overall good pitches with lots of shade. Buildings are old and can use a good upgrade. Staff is helpful

It's yet another shabby, dirty, uncared for Portuguese site. Facilities below average but do-able. Feels to me site is treading water waiting to be built on. Pitches are not great either. Site probably built in the 70s out of concrete and not touched since then. What is wrong with Portugal? Camping has moved on.

Very nice camp site, I agree with all the positive comments below. The only problem, which I can't find mentioned anywhere else, is the electricity supply. It seems to be very low ampage...we had fuses tripped twice and tgey don't allow access to reset so we had to keep moving socket. Aso they have electric car charges (which is good) but although advertised as 9kw the max they would give is 3.5kw. This means it took 2.5 times as long to charge as it should. They charge by the hour (not per kw) so you'll be getting ripped off. Also if you have a big battery it'll take you forever to get a full charge.

Lovely site parked in pine trees. Walk to dunes plus beach nice. Can walk coast to Cascais and back as a loop. Views amazing. Good base for exploring Sintra and Lisbon bus to central terminal in Cascais stops right outside site. Facilities clean

Nice campground. Facilities need renovation. A bit chaotic as free choice of camp without designated numbers are complicated. Power stations are few available.

Well equipped campground. I paid for two nights the day before, and was charged for the third Night it was a learning experience. I asked her to remit my payment when she discussed the matter with who ever was the receptionist. I think they loathe tourists. Some Wash houses not available!ā˜…

Very decent campsite. The other reviews were a bit everywhere which made us think twice, but we are very glad we went for it. Lots of space, nice free for all, plenty of shade everywhere and a more than decent swimming pool. Yes the toilets and showers are a bit outdated but that is fine. You dont spend hours there anyways. They work, there is hot water and its relatively clean. Had a welcoming swim, chilling under the trees and its nice and quiet. Could be a bit cheaper thought in the offseason. But he. Would recommend going here!

Staff very good. Pitches well organised. Shower blocks need updating from the 1960's. Great location to visit the local sights.

A stunning location, you can find very private areas of the campsite and the beach is right there. Yes itā€™s a little on the expensive side but itā€™s worth it.

Extreme winds overnight were incredibly loud, disruptive and impossible to sleep through in a tent. Much more expensive than other campsites in Portugal also.
