Farol de Cabo Raso is a historic lighthouse located on a cliff in Cascais, Portugal. Despite being difficult to reach due to a steep hike, visitors appreciate the stunning views of the sea and coastline from the lighthouse. It has been in operation for over 200 years and serves as an important navigational aid for ships. While the lighthouse is not open to the public, visitors can still admire it from the outside and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area, making it a worthwhile destination for those interested in history and scenic views.

A must come experience if you are in Portugal , this is the tip end of Europe. You will feel so trivial with the infinite view of ocean on the cliff, if you plan well, come here to see the sunset. Definitely a once in a life time experience

We walked along from Cascais to this spot as we were excited to see the most Western Point. The walk from Cascais left alot to be desired but thankfully the path was much improved as we got closer to this attraction. The path was right beside the traffic, sometimes pathless and uneven. If you are a walker you will be well used to terrain similar, just a heads up for anyone with access needs or a pram.. Cabo Raso is such a special spot with crystal clear water and crashing waves, it was really impressive to see and I'm glad we walked there.

The western-most point of Europe. Worth visiting to see the beautiful rough seas of the area. The lighthouse itself is somewhat less than impressive however.

Not sure if you can go in. It’s a 20-25 minutes scooter ride away from Cascais. There is a bike lane all the way to it, which is great. Downside is you can’t pause a ride on your scooter there even for a short brake, but the ocean is still worth the ride. Stunning views

This is a lovely place to take photos and admire the views, especially during sunset, or to relax. It is well accessible by car and bicycle and there is a small restaurant nearby. When I visited there were not so many people here, so it was a really enjoyable moment for myself. The waves can get pretty big here

Coastal views and plenty of areas to park along the roadside and either walk or sit and enjoy the waves hitting the rocks.

Always a nice place to be. Especially, when the waves are a little bit higher. A good place to relax and to have some time.

Very windy! Beautiful landscape. You can see all of Serra de Sintra, the Atlantic, in blue and green, the waves, the sea floor. Very few people stop here, but it's easy to arrive by road. Nothing to do here but enjoy nature.
