Worth the de-tour. A cute alley restaurant. We had the waiter make a recommendation. It was all great.

It was suggested at the Palacio do Marques do Pombal that I lunch at O Pambalino while I wait for the garden to open. I am a man of Louisiana Cajun-creole descent. I said in Portuguese, ´Table for one, please. The waiter said no room. He proceeded to seat others behind me. I waited. He said no again. Thinking that I was confused I wanted when the lady in front said, ´No room. ‘. Appalled, I left. Racism has even risen its ugly head in Portugal.

An old faithful. Great food, great service, old room. It always delivers and that is reassuring.

Friendly staff and good pastries. Coffee with a nice view to the church páteo. When it's sunny it is very nice to sit under the trees shade.

The place is a nice humble, cozy restaurant. I really enjoyed the place . The service was also kind. I had a dose of sardines with my mum and godmother and they had great flavour. Although they had a huge amount of bones. A part from that the food was amazing.

Very nice typical Portuguese restaurant. Bring Google Translate! Various tasty fish dishes, great seafood pasta. Upstairs a nice room dedicated to Benfica Lisbon.

Amazing food. And the manger was very caring and cracked some jokes. This is the real tradicional food from Portugal. The decor is also the traditional Portuguese tasca, with a nice atmosphere. A lot of people come here, but still nice and pleasant. They open for dinner at 7.30pm, if you come at this time no problem as Portuguese people seem to like dinner from 8.30pm. Staff is happy and didn't look stressed, more points for that.

A simple place with very good food. We had Arroz de Linguerião com Gambas, which was just excellent, together with the wine of the house.

A hidden gem in Oeiras. The food is exceptionally good, generous portions and a menu with some of the best Portuguese food you’ll find. Always take a look at the specials of the day.

We visited this restaurant after recommendations.I put only one star for the food because the whole experience was dramatic .The «garçon » who served us was very annoying and all the time asked if we were happy with the taste of the food ,to the point to become annoying, needless to say that he had a permanent fake smile. But « la cerise sur le gâteau » was the fact that POS machine was not available , maybe they prefer cash to avoid pay any extra charges to the bank . Also we payed cash but they never return the changes, very impolite and unprofessional behaviour .

Really lovely place for a Sunday lunch—they do a different traditional dish every Sunday—we had the slow cooked goat, which as excellent. Our waiter was really kind too. Will be coming back fr fr, on God, no cap.

Great tradicional Portuguese food and great service. If your not used to eating a lot, any individual plate easily feeds two people, which males this place an even better deal.

I am a vegetarian who eats fish occasionally and this is the place I choose! The salmon and robalo are always grilled to perfection. The atmosphere is pleasant, workers are efficient and wear a smile. They are patient and kind. Good food, good vibes makes for a happy belly every time!

Great little restaurant! I had the shrimp pasta which was really good while my husband had the grilled codfish. Friendly atmosphere with air conditioning! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 They do not have a high chair, so bring your stroller or portable high chair for little ones.

🫤 I really don't recommend this café. I waited almost 1h for a toast and they said it didnt take a lot of time, completely disrespectful. The waiters aren't friendly and no one told us we would waste our afternoon waiting for simple food. The prices are exaggerated. Never again.
