Very nice local Portugese restaurant located in a “quiet” street in the center of Cascais. We had dinner over there during our holiday in the city in June 2021. Price/quality wise this restaurant is definitely more than ok. The fish was very well cooked and the wine was excellent! We were sitting outside, which was cozy and even romantic… The staff was very friendly and polite (certainly not pushy). The owner even took the time to give us some touristic tips about the area and about the south of Portugal (where we were heading to). Highly recommend restaurant when you are in Cascais!

If you’re in Cascais, I highly recommend to dine here. Reservations is recommended if you want inside seating. No problem if you want outdoor seating. The food we ordered was so delicious. It’s one of the Chef specialties. Not expensive at all for the quality of food. The Tiramisu, OMG! you have to tried it, so good 😋 Update photos Ever since we found this restaurant, we dine here for lunch n dinner again. It’s worth every Penny.

Service is kind and great. Good selection of wine as well. Price wise i recommend the fishes over the "petiscos" (kind of tapas to share). It was fresher and better done since not so oily. Expect to pay aroun 25 euros per person which is fair. Dourada fish was the best.

Delicious beefsteak. Very tender, with potato chips, fried egg and tomatoes.

This is a gorgeous little spot set on a quiet corner. As first time visitors, we received a wonderfully warm welcome after being lucky enough to book the last available table for the evening. It’s lovely that the table is yours for the evening and that there is no rush. We went with our host’s recommendations for starters and main courses and are glad we did. Beautifully cooked, super-fresh seafood and the accompanying wines were just perfect. This is a tiny restaurant which over-delivers in terms of the quality of the food they produce. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others, it’s a fantastic little find.

A beautiful family-run restaurant in a quiet side street. The waiter/owner was very knowledgeable about the food menu and extensive wine list. The food style is Portuguese cuisine and was delicious and original. The owner is very proud of his restaurant and all the staff looked after us very well. Thank you

Perfect little restaurant with a beautiful ambience, especially on the small terrace under the walnut tree. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They answered all our questions and even explained the historical origins of our dishes. The food was a dream, absolutely perfect. I haven't eaten so well in a long time, especially with the good wine served. When I think of a restaurant in Cascais, this is definitely the one. I would be very happy to come back one day.

Very cute small family-run restaurant full with locals. Had the best octopus ever in my life! It was sooo good that I had to order the octopus salad as my dessert.

Superb small restaurant. Stunning local food. We had the specials- one starter (scallops) and fish (sole) and meat (suckling pig) - outrageously good! The host was so informative and the staff superb. We were lucky as a table of five had not turned up (so rude and unfair on the restaurant) so my wife and myself were able to benefit. I can’t believe people can’t take the time to cancel but thankfully other people got to experience their loss. Cannot recommend the food and wine highly enough. A must visit and incredible value for the quality.

Lovely restaurant with great, traditional portuguese food cooked with care and love using top local ingredients. Sat outside in the shade, a light breeze, attentive staff (thank you Pedro) and a fantastic lunch

Great ambience and a welcoming environment. They provide an English menu as well. Love the squid here. The tiramisu is amazing too! Rice with shrimps is a little too salty for my liking but nonetheless has an interesting rich flavour. Cod is a little underwhelming. All in all, 5 stars for the overall great experience!

Charming, quiet, delightful restaurant serving delicious Portuguese food. We tried the fish stew and shark. Generous portions were well prepared and served piping hot. The local Douro wine paired perfectly, but you can choose from a prodigious collection of bottles, displayed on the walls. Service is attentive without being intrusive. In short, a perfect evening.

Three of us had dinner at Terroso last night. For two of us it was our first time there and our Portuguese companion asked Pedro (the owner) to recommend a few dishes of his choice and we had a wonderful experience. Cheese, olives and bread as a starter accompanied by a fruity and light white wine, and a great red wine with the main courses. Then we had secretos de porco and it was the best we've had in Portugal. The main courses were octopus rice stew and grilled duck steaklets, accompanied by traditional french fries (little cubes) with a garlic infusion. Outstanding. The octopus stew is cooked in a dark sauce and the octopus was very tender - highly recommended. The duck was crispy on the outside and pink and tender inside - awesome. We ended with a dessert (that we shared) from the north of Portugal that was apparently made by nuns and priests a long time ago -Pudding Priscos De Abade, an egg-based cake with a sticky toffee-like sauce. Delicious. Pedro is very passionate about wines and we had a great conversation with him about Portuguese and South African wines. A great evening overall.

Fantastic restaurant in cascais downtown. Best food we had so far. Started with a grilled octopus appetizer that just blew my mind. Followed by a rice with shrimp/clam for my gilfriend and rice with du l (daily special) that were also delicious. Great staff attention, suggest pairing wine with food and not to expensive. Also, this is on a off the main center street, so it give a fantastic lover vibe to it ! Would love the opportunity to go again

absolutely inpolite behaviour answer to your reply: TALKING ABOUT RESPECT: -waited 5min at the entrance, noticed by you and your colleagues without any reaction - we took place at a table without any reservation sign. - sat there for 12 minutes without seeing any staff . -your colleague then came nervously and ran away without any further comment. - finally you came to the table telling us to leave, finding some excuses because of other guests arriving soon, without any polite word of apology. Seems as if the boss is king and not the guest!!! While you're talking about the people at the next table: bet they were shocked about your behaviour and not ours!! Wishing you a profitable evening, where you find nevertheless time to put reservation signs on the table than to reply to google reviews!

Really amazing experience at this super cute hidden spot. We started with a pastel de bacalhau and some Joaquinzinhos (AMAZING) and then ordered the bacalhau dish that was just perfect. Great wine selection, but please don't miss the pudim de ababe de Priscos for dessert! My new favorite portuguese dessert by far... Anyway, just go there and enjoy all the stories they can tell you about the portuguese cuisine!

Beautiful meal. Small premises so patrons need to arrive on time. They gave away a table on a patron who was late. I felt they were correct. Super service and food. Good value

Amazing food. We ordered garlic shrimps, bread, rice with shrimps and clams and grilled salmon with vegetables. Everything was delicious and service was very courteous and prompt. Would definitely recommend.
