The restaurant is located on the marina and all the views from inside or in the terrace is very nice and scenic, the service is nice and quick and the plates are very nicely done and with good portions. The prices are very good for the location, service and food quality. They also have a separate terrace bar on top. Totally recommend and will be back for sure.

Wonderful restaurant! Our server Mafalda is so nice and gives really good recommendations. The food is delicious, especially the ceviche!! And the price is very fair for such high quality food and service! Nice view too!

Waitress gives us the food and drinks menu. We chose and order. Waitress says there’s no food available. We ask if they have snacks (packaged ones) to go with the drinks. Yes, but it’s only two of us so we only serve drinks… ah! Good old Portuguese customer service.

We came across the cute terrace bar first but fancied being indoors so went down to the main restaurant downstairs. Right decision! Spacious, big tables for families, lovely and bright decor and great views! The staff were kind even though we didn't have a full meal and so we left with a very good impression! Nice recommendations and all in all a MUST in Cascais!!!!

service is so friendly, this is the best! Octopus salad is very good, monkfish with quinoa is so original and a must to try. Seabass is also very satisfying.. I’m so glad that we chose Maria Pia to have dinner.

Lovely place to sit and friendly staff. Can't comment on the food because we only went for drinks. Unfortunately they have no on site toilet, otherwise we would have stayed here a lot longer.

We've been in several bars & restaurants in Lisboa, and tried several Mojito's, but the ones at Maria Pia were the best so far! Strong, tasty & freshly made!

Delicious food and the ambiance is very nice. The staff are friendly and the location is perfect. I recommend for lunch and Dinner. We took Polvo salad was very refreshing and yummy and then I took the Curry Shrimp surved with Cuscus but I had it with rice, very delicious 👌

Wasn't wowed by the food. Risotto was tasty but average. Service was friendly. Prices are reasonable. Note there are only a few seats outside.

I had the worst and most embarrassing experience at this place. Went there with my dogs and kids to get a snack and drinks. The first male water was actually nice and made some nice suggestions on what to order. The female not so friendly waitress that brought the food had the weirdest attitude - as soon as I took the first bite and had my mouth full she demanded payment. I was chewing in shock as I have never witnessed such rude bad service. I asked if I could please finish it and she rudely insisted I must pay. To shut her up I ordered my son another drink so I could eat in peace. Upon bringing the drink another male even ruder waiter came saying it is the “house police” to pay upfront. Ok! I was never told that so the waiter that suggested nice options and took my order in the first place should have told me that. Then the waitress that brought my order and it was bugging me to pay should have the machine ready and should have told me BEFORE I TOOK MY FIRST BITE and not wait until I have my mouth full and greasy hands that I was certainly not going to reach out to my wallet to pay the bill. I somehow was able to finish my sandwich - then, like a nightmare that never ends, I asked a fourth waitress to finally bring me the bill so I could leave this place asap she had the guts to tell me to stand up and pay by the counter!!! I could not believe my eyes!! She was going to each and every table with the machine charging people! Since I was on vacation and in no rush staying a few yards from this place I sat there enjoying the beautiful Marina view until she had some decency to come finish the service. She finally came to our table I paid and mentioned how rude they all were and that I was stunned with such bad service and most of all lack of staff common sense. She pointed to me a mediocre printed paper on the side of the counter where it said it should be paid in advance. I said if that is the “policy” then it should be placed where it is visible not on the side of a counter where people can’t see it since you sit and a waiter comes to your table to take an order. Extremely disappointed specially because I come to Cascais every year for long periods of time and stay very close to this place. I will make sure to never step foot in this place ever again and make sure people know what kind of service they will probably get.
