G B Store

Supermarket

👍 A great supermarket for mostly UK food products. Staff are friendly and the service is good. Some items are available in normal supermarkets throughout Portugal at slightly cheaper prices. Wheelchair access is available and there is a public car park in front of the store. People often mention products, good, great, staff,

My friend from England/Mexico recommended me that place. They mostly have products from the UK but also some candy from France/USA etc. The ladies that worked there were really nice and helpful. Sometimes the price tag isn’t there but you can just ask them and they will tell you. Lots of Halloween/Christmas candy and chocolate! They also sell frozen bagels, the main reason why we went there! They got an aisle of alcohol as well and some toys/gifts. A bit hard to find, but if you put the address on Waze, it will drive you there!

Lived here for 18 months, but only been to the GB Store a couple of times, because it's located in an area that's well away from just about everything else, the choice isn't that good and what there is is very expensive (though I understand why that is). Also the 2 or 3 staff members I have encountered have always appeared to be pretty grumpy.

Nice to get a few UK items that you may miss. Staples like Paxo, bisto, pies, bacon sausages, household cleaning products and much much more. Good choices if you are in the area and better to pick in person rather than online. We not regulars but usually pick up our favourites twice a year.

Rather expensive when there are several Lidl's a short walk away with so much more to offer. Staff are nice but the prices are ridiculous and there is a real lack of options. Pretty much everything is also frozen. Way too expensive.

Love this store. It isn't a shop to go on a daily basis, as prices are quite costly but it is a must to go and buy their scrummy sausages and of course Cadburys Cream Eggs!!

Perfect for Brits missing some of their favourites!! Lots of oooos! as we walked around! Cranberry sauce and jelly!! Sarsons vinegar! Crumpets!! Also has a free used book library. Will take cds and dvds. A great experience. Be prepared to pay though, but worth it.

Great store, if you're a foreigner living in the Cascais area, you'll most probably find a slice of whatever reminds you of home. There's no price tag for that!

Good selection of products. Liked their frozen selection. Would have loved to see more stationary ie more of a selection of good quality greetings cards. The entrance and shop front could do with a little TLC!
