I did get an appointment quite fast (next day). The waiting time was reasonable, I think 15 minutes and the treatment was absolut perfect! I felt very well treated and helped. Thanks a lot! Would definitely recommend, also for foreigners with no local health insurance.

Never go to otolaryngologist at this clinic! The doctor does not observe hygiene, she dropped the cotton wool on the floor, picked it up and began to put it in my ear, I refused, then she took a new cotton wool, without wearing medical gloves or using hands sanitiser, rolled it in her hands and put it in my ear, she didn’t say anything, she just prescribed drops, the next day I felt worse, the temperature rose and a terrible pain in the ear. Unprofessional and sloppy work, and I waited 2 hours for this appointment!

I can’t say anything specific about the facility because it was closed by the time my husband arrived (at 20:08) with my son to get X-rays. This was after they’d gone to the Carcavelos location, where they were told that X-Ray machines were not on site due to a remodel, and then advised that this CascaiShopping location was open until 22:00 (the receptionist even asked her colleague about the closing time who confirmed it was 22:00). It would be nice if the business took time to make the update on Google maps and their site rather than just post the change in closing time on a small piece of paper taped at the entrance to their business. (I just made the suggested edits and added a photo of the paper stating new hours, so it will hopefully update and spare others the wasted trip.) All very unfortunate.

***they hustled me!!!*** i went for a vaccination and got a 'prescription for a yellow fever vaccination' which is useless. they charged me 70 euro for it too! i got bamboozled, thank the morally sound, highly professionals working at joaquim chaves <3

I've been here four times already. So far, so good. Some of the Doctors tried their best to communicate in English. Though, others are speaks well in English. Too bad for me, can't speak Portuguese yet. Overall, I like the Doctors here. They are helpful.

Employees at Reception need to be taught how to deal with Elderly Citizens, specifically with respect to the provisions of Lei dos Idosos. I am contemplating making a complaint in the “Livro de Reclamacoes”
