Excellent location. Nice rooms with adequate facilities in the hotel. Very reasonable pricing for all the services.
Our room was cleaned every day without reminders. Breakfast was sufficient in quantity and sufficient variety.
The only negative point is a very small roof-pool and almost constantly occupies sunbeds upstairs.

Great hotel, with a great location. Breakfast is pretty good, but not great. My main gripe is the parking lot. It can be used by both hotel guests and the general public. The front desk say “you will always have a space”, but what they don’t tell you is that you have to wait for a space to be available before the gate will open for you. Spent 15-20 minutes waiting for a space one day.

Nice hotel with a great view of the water. Central location so very walkable to everything. I took off a star because for a “luxury” hotel how do you not have an ice machine? I know this is europe but you need ice machines in your hotel. I had to go to the bar to get ice and the bartender was nice enough to give me ice but she said they usually charge for a bucket of ice? Wow - step up your game, differentiate yourselves from all the rest and provide ice for your guests.

This is an excellent hotel. Location is amazing especially with a sea view room. The rooms are modern, very clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar is an ideal place to chill out in the afternoon with friends. Will definitely be returning to Hotel Baia.

Lovely location with great view..clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were good enough. A few places where there's room for improvement. But overall, very good.

Great location, right in the middle of everything, easy to navigate a weekend away from the hotel, the beach is across the road. The rooms were great we had a really good triple which has two rooms. Terrace is gorgeous for drinks overlooking the seafront, some of the team could be a little friendlier but overall really good stay.

Stayed a while back during lockdown. What a lovely hotel! Great views and friendly staff. Perfectly located to all local amenities. Great hotel for a great price. Will definitely return!

Not impressed. Location is good at beach front, but most personnel is grumpy or uninterested, presents vague advice on bike rental. Noise from Irish pub kept us awake with room at the back. Room was not clean with mold (see photos) at the start. Reception did not apologize but answered “must be the weather”. Glass on juice bottle broken, salt and pepper not on the table. Lack of attention is everywhere. Pool and roof top terrace were good. Price was acceptable in February. Overall very mixed feelings.

We chose Hotel Baia knowing a major update was underway. It did not bother us in the least. Baia’s location is superb with the sea views you came to Cascais for. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and service is attentive and professional. The staff from front desk, to wait staff to housekeepers were superb. Their congeniality and interest in hospitality is clear. Very helpful with whatever your question or needs may be. We will stay right here for our next visit.

Just visited restaurant for Sunday brunch which is self service
Good selection of foods, reasonable quality.
I wasn't personally keen on their new interior design and layout, from memory I thought the former layout was more customer friendly.
Reasonable unique price.

Location is perfect, room is nice and clean. Unfortunately no fridge or kettle (bit difficult with a baby). Breakfast is just horrendous, everything is the cheapest possible option. Worst coffee (DE) I’ve had in two weeks traveling Portugal.
All in all good value BUT get your breakfast elsewhere!

Very nice hotel good clean rooms and a great view.
But best of all they have an automated pancake machine.
Only reason for not getting 5 stars is the noise at night from the nearby bars.

Staying at Hotel Baia was a great experience. Some elements of hotel are dated like the pool, but it was still a good stay. The beds are VERY firm, so if you don't like that perhaps seek alternative accomodations. However, I still slept well and it was quiet at night. The real highlight of the stay was the breakfast. This is the best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. I don't know if this is the norm for Europe but in Canada the hotel breakfasts come nothing close to what was offered at Hotel Baia. I hope they never change that experience because it was very pleasant.

VERY nice hotel. Nice/modern rooms. Clean. FANTASTIC location!!! In the heart of the city and across from the beach. Very friendly staff. Stayed here 2 nights. The room I booked was HUGE. 2 rooms with 3 beds. It was literally like an apartment/flat. I was solo but the room was big enough to fit 4-5 people. I give it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1 - Unfortunately the bed wasn't that comfortable. The sheets and blankets (in my room anyway) were rough. Definitely not hotel worthy. This can definitely be improved and then all would be perfect. 2 - My room (which was a City view room), was located across from a place where they played music until 2-3am. I love music, but this was a bit too much. That said, I would definitely recommend this hotel. You get a lot for the family Suite.

We had a room out the back, no sea view. The toilet smell was terrible not just a smell but gas, reported it to reception and got no apology just told it happens with the wind direction,
Breakfast was OK nothing to write about re stocking as items ran out was lackadaisical.
Brilliant location, in amongst the happening places and right on the seafront.

I have a friend that stays here every year and absolutely loves it. Always a warm welcome from the friendly professional staff. The location is right in front if Cascais beach with an amazing sea view of the marina. 5 star location close to ships, restaurants, bars etc. Highly recommend:)))

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. Very quaint decoration and each room with its own individual split A/C unit. Rooms can be kept cool after a hot day hiking or at the beach. The hotel has its own private beach, but you need to pay to use the umbrellas and chairs, so keep that in mind. Easy access to/from the train station, with a decent number of good restaurants near by.

The hotel is excellent! I did practice there for 3 weeks and I can say that it is a very clean hotel. The staff at the restaurant is a little tougher, but the manager is very sweet and good as well as the manager at house skipping. In the rooms it is cleaned every day. As a person who did the practice throughout the hotel I would recommend it because I felt at home there and the cleanliness there pleasantly surprised me.

Good quality-price balance, location is great in front of the beach and right in the old city center, close to bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms are nice and sufficiently spacious, and quite silent considering proximity to busy streets (on the back side). Breakfast buffet is generous. Rooftop terrace and swimmingpool are a plus. Staff were nice and professional.

If you want to be in the best location possible you choose this hotel. Close to everything in a walking distance. Nice rooftop terrace with a pool, sun beds and a bar to grab a cold one and some snacks. Good breakfast, nice rooms and overall nice place to stay. Would come again!

Really nice hotel with really helpful and nice staff in a great area. Would recommend getting a room with the sea view as it is very impressive. Only complaint was they don't have an iron or ironing board for guests. They offer an external service so not a big issue and that was my only complaint!

Average hotel. Location is nice but super rundown. Pool is on the roof and indoor….!? Staff were rude and uninterested. Felt like I was in a rundown Atlantic City motel. There are better options in Cascáis.

Perfect location. Worst breakfast on our trip to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais - uninspired. Room service took things they shouldn't, didn't replace towels. Espresso was the very worst, ever. Front desk staff were helpful, and you cannot beat the location. Way noisy.

Location is great and the view to the Marina perfect. Breakfast is nice. The balcony is small but great! Has a heated swimming pool on the rooftop.
Now the not so good points:
Windows facing the baía are not great as they do not block noise from the outside. Meaning, every car that passes on the street, you hear it, every person talking on the street you hear it.
The absolute worst: The cleaning crew start around 7 am. And they push the furniture around, instead of lifting it. Because the construction is poor, cleaning being done on the fourth floor is very well heard and resonates on the first floor.
Bottom line: if you a an early bird that do not mind the noise, it has a great location.
If you like to sleep in at least until 9 am, this is not the place for you. Guess what? I am not an early bird, nor do I appreciate being woken up by furniture being tossed around.

Great hotel, we had to go to Cascais in a few different occasions and hotel Baia is our favourite. The location is right in the centre with spectacular views from the balcony. The breakfast is really good, with a good variety of your eggs bacon but also fruits and pastries. The staff is lovely, always very polite and ready to go above and beyond for the guests. Can't reccomend it enough. And we will be there again soon!

No kettle in rooms, safty box with missing locks, you need permission to use, and no iron or board available. A cup with hot water costs 2 euros!!! Rooms are small but the views were amazing.

Had a terrible experience with the manager on the rooftop. Had no idea we couldn’t bring food in (as it’s not a restaurant upstairs… just a tiny bar & pool deck) plus we ASKED about getting food a couple days earlier & they said they didn’t have any. The manager came up, told us we couldn’t eat outside food there & it was rude to think we could, then when I said we asked & they said they didn’t have food he just brought me a menu & set it down. As someone who travels quiteee a bit, I’ve never experienced being talked down to by hotel staff. Unfortunate that this one manager could ruin our entire experience at this hotel. Oh & best part?? His daughter (I believe, as they held hands) was eating outside food at a table!

Friends and family who have stayed here have loved their rooms with a view over the bay. The hotel is in a great area for (window) shopping, restaurants and bars plus it's close to public transport (head into Lisbon by train or Sintra by bus). Having had lunches, tea, and dinner here on many occasions, I can say the food is very good and the staff friendly. The most recent visit was for lunch on the esplanade which was absolutely delicious (duck confit with mushroom risotto).
