Needs a lot of tlc to bring it upto 3 star hotel, furniture was awful, bedding and towels even though they are cleaned everyday, have seen better days, the female staff are lovely, but the owner needs some people skills, he is a proper misery. Pool area was neglected, decking needed replacing and sunlounger pads need renewing too. Shame as it's in a nice area.

I am surprised at the reviews this place has as it really is very average. I found the staff pretty rude in general. Especially the young man who did the reception from the afternoon. He had no manners or knowledge and seemed to dislike his job. As a first impression, his lack of greeting or welcome made an impact. We arrived in the afternoon. The room was fine basic but fine. The bed was comfy, the curtains dark and relatively clean definitely not spotless. We had no safe key as apparently they had gone missing. Not offered an alternative. The balcony was pretty dirty and the chairs were either badly stained or broken. The walls etc had marks and the bedroom needs some TLC and the balcony a good scrub but the bathroom was spotless and new but shared with lots and lots of ants. Breakfast was the same everyday and nobody wants to eat bread cheese and meat every day so I started asking for fruit. The lady gave it me but she was too busy everyday so I started bringing my own and yoghurt and tomatoes. I like fresh food. The bacon was fatty and I don't like scrambled egg much but I felt a pain for asking. And that's pretty much how we felt all holiday. They were too busy, understaffed, seemed annoyed when you asked them something so I don't know how they got a trip adivisor award. I would often walk by the manager and be ignored..the pool looks a lot better on the photos it is tiny and the area needs a proper deep clean and maintenance including the sides of the beds and underneath them and the walls. It's all a bit yucky. Absolutely no atmosphere by the pool. No music no bar, go inside find reception ask them for a drink... if no one is at reception. Handsanatizer ran out day 2 not replaced. Toilets often out of tissue. Its not a bad place but they need more staff. Staff who are nice and know customer service. Also my partner and I had 2 large single beds not a double we couldn't lie next to each other with the gap!! I wouldn't return. But if you're on your way it is passable and in a good location.

We arrived earlier than the usual check in time and our room was not ready yet so we left our luggage in the luggage room and decided to go for a walk and grab some lunch. The Strip is full of restaurants so it wasn't hard to find somewhere to eat. We check out the strip to see what was there before we headed back to the hotel for check in. Once checked in we asked if they had a lift as we had a few suitcases and they said there was no lifts! Which where we had to lug all out suitcases up 2 flights of stairs! I'm assuming the gentleman at the desk was the owner who was very moody and had no good customer service. What happened to service with a smile! The room itself was ok and clean but the lighting in there was terrible we only had 1 bulb working on the main light and 2 bedside lights. The lighting in the bathroom was way better (us girls need good lighting to do our makeup). The a/c system made so much noise because it was old we had to keep turning it on and off in the night as the rooms tend to get too hot after a while. The balcony only had 1 chair so we requested to have another chair put there but after 2 days still no chair so I asked Rita (the manager) if I could take a chair as I've waited 2 days I'd rather just take one up myself and she said I could take the one from her office. The swimming pool was not clean at all bit of stuff floating inside and hair. Sunbeds were old and squeaky. Location of hotel : if you want no sleep this is the place to go stay haha. The amount of noise from the cars and tuk tuks and all the drunk people walking up and down made it very hard to sleep as the windows were very thin and you could hear everything outside! One of the patio doors didn't even lock which was not good as we didn't feel our stuff was safe inside. The Strip was located just down the street a 8-10 min walk. There was also 2 beaches in walking distance one only 8 min walk which you could see old town from or even walk to and the other a 15 min walk away. Breakfast at the hotel was just standard, croissants and bread rolls, cheese,ham, scrambled eggs only, fruit, and cereal. For drinks tea/coffee or juice. The snack menu was nice the chips and pizza were delicious. The tuktuk have a fixed charge of 10 euros around Albufeira, you're better off using bolt or uber as its cheaper. Overall I would not stay in this hotel again, alot of maintainance needs doing here. They are lucky to have an amazing manager as good as Rita. Without her this place would have fallen to pieces and they would get no one staying there.

Myself and my husband have just got back from a 2week stay here. What can I say, Rita the mini whirlwind did everything from checking you in, serving breakfast, manning the bar & snacks to checking you out an absolutely wonderful human being. Clean rooms nice shower only things we could pick up on was not alot of storage for our length off stay and rooms would benefit from having a kettle otherwise no problems at all will definitely be back

Its ok... just smell of the bleach in the bathroom is unbelievable 🙄. For one or 2 nights I would definitely recommend but not for more...

Dirty hotel stains on carpet and walls. Ants in bedroom and bathroom lots of them. Worst ever hotel. Avoid at all costs as it will.ruin your holiday. That bad had to find another hotel on night 2 as room covered in ants. Crawling on bathroom floor lots of them and a few on the bed and on carpet. Could not.sit on balcony as chairs were disgusting 🤔

I've stayed here several times. Great Staff & hotel & central to all.

Nice pool area. Room is basic but clean. Close to beach and strip but away from noise. Couple of food restaurants nearby. Good pool area.

2 small observations. Lady on reception seems to be doing everything which means she doesn't stop which is a real shame as having to wait (for 15 minutes plus at times) around at times for assistance/service at the bar ordering food or drink). Other observation was furniture in our room (207) had missing drawer knobs so couldn't use those drawers and bathroom light above bathroom didn't work. Very tidy and clean hotel and would happily return.

me and my boyfriend stayed here in the middle of may and it was honestly amazing, the lady at the front desk was lovely and seemed like she was doing everything. The room was lovely and the cleaners came every morning and were friendly as well. Great location 5 mins from the strip and 15 mins from the old town but wasn't noisy at all. We didn't try any food but they only accept cash for drinks.. I would definitely stay here again!!

This is a clean and tidy Hotel in need of a bit of maintenance in places the staff are very nice and pleasant and can't do enough for you situated on the side of a main road sometimes it's a little noisy because of all the traffic situated between Old Town and the strip

Great place to stay, 20 minute walk into town, The staff are great keeping the place nice and clean Especially Rita who works tirelessly, Nothing is too much trouble for her. Thanks for a great time. Rob C

Fantastic hotel from the cleaning staff to the amazing manager at the age of 20 took charge of the entire hotel and did not stop for the entire week me and my mate stayed here. They all made us feel very welcome even though it is a small hotel for mainly couples they didn’t make us feel any different huge thank you to all the staff.

Rita was the perfect host, only the pool and pool area let this lovely hotel down.

A hotel with a 7 minutes walk from the main Beach, towards Albufeira city centre. Also 10 minutes walk from the main restaurants and night clubs. Located right in the middle of best of both worlds. I recommend the hotel! One message to every tourist staying in hotels! Have fun but other tourists are also there to relax so PLS!…. Minimise the noise at night! Other than that! I like the hotel!….

Perfect hotel for adults looking for a break with no children , excellent customer service & very clean, drinks & food couldn’t be faulted. & the staff are so friendly & clean. We loved Rita she couldn’t of helped us enough. Will defiantly be back. X

I loved this hotel. Owner works very hard to please everyone, Felt safe as I was an alone traveller. Very good covid practise within the hotel also. Breakfast was good selection 😋 Would recommend this hotel to anyone Very central within walking distance to the strip and to thee old town. Rooms cleaned every day Good hot water for showers everyday Will return for another visit for sure

Amazing hotel. First of all, the breakfast lady is so friendly!!! We would definitely return just to see her again. The breakfast was amazing. Fruit, some bread and a croissant, orange juice, coffee, just regular things but the experience was amazing because of the lady, we always looked forward to the next morning. Secondly, location, great. Not far away from supermarkets and you could walk to the famous escalators near the beach (10/15 mins?) Third, room, great. There was a portable fridge which you will definitely need for cold water during the day (I recommend thermal bottles). The only thing I have to mention is that the rooms aren't dark. There aren't any shutters, they ARE curtains but they don't remove all the light from the street lanterns. Besides that, the emergency plan in case of an emergency (fire), glows in the dark, as well as the exit sticker on the wall above the door. Also, the exit light is there (see pictures) so just take your sleeping mask with you. Overal experience, great!

Wonderful staff and in a great location. The pool is clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and the staff were happy to do you food/drinks however you wanted. Really can't fault it. 5 minute walk to the strip/beach, and a 15/20 minute walk into the old town.

No hot water ants in the room safe in room not working But worst of all Was the level of customer service reported issues to the old lady on reception only to be shouted and she called out travel providers to ask us to leave...but we couid stay if I didn't complain anymore. Avoid owner takes no responsibility for problems and blames u and everyone else

Clean rooms. Ones next to road are quite noisy. There is a road grate that clangs each time a vehicle goes over it. Air con didn't work great. About ten min walk to strip and 20 mins to old town
