If you want a really fun night of entertainment and you love an amazing sax player then this is the ideal night out - Be warned ...Tuesday and Friday nights only -. Food was perfect ... cooked by Johnny's lovely wife ... and service really on it. We had such a good night that we [my wife and I caught up in the atmosphere and spirit] downed 3 doubles in spirits each and we're lightweights LOL!

Super night. Delightful and attentive staff, excellent choice and quality of food and super entertainment. A bit out of the way, but worth every bit of the effort to get there. A must if on holiday in Albufeira.

I was visiting Albufeira and wanted to have dinner before I hit the clubs little did I know at the time I was about to dine at a bistro that would pull me in to an entrancing experience. When I first walk in a man in a palm tree shirt named Johnny welcomed me and pointed me to my seat. I ordered a bottle of wine with my friend and all of sudden BAM! saxolazing music started to play and I floated down a river of music both lazy and smooth and fast and fierce as the Niagara falls. Over all the food was good and the music and community even better

We had a big group booking of 24 here and had the most FUN night dancing to Johnny’s sax (and some other bangers he put on). Food was delish too, highly recommend

My husband and I had a brilliant time at Johnny's restaurant on Sunday 26th Sept. I'm veggie and my husband is vegan so we didn't expect to be able to eat anything and was popping along for some drinks and live music, however, i'm so glad I contacted them because they offer a vegan nut roast! It was absolutely delicious with veggies, roasties and vegan gravy! We had a fab time and met some other lovely people. Johnny is a great host and his wife, Sue (who is also the chef) is equally lovely and a talented cook! We wish you guys every success and hope to return in the future! Thanks, Laura & Luke x

Visited Johnny’s 3 times during our holiday and each time received a warm welcome from Johnny and his staff. The food, cooked by his wife was superb, followed by great sax music and fun quiz combined to make it a fantastic night. Sunday lunch was matched with the same great food and live music on the terrace. This is a must visit if you are in Albufeira. Found this place online and booked dinner here as a meal on my sisters hen do. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. They had decorated the table with balloons and banners for us. The food was amazing we was a group of 13 and everyone loved their meals. Waiting time was great and there was such a delicious selection of food and drink to choose from. The prices were great value. We was lucky enough that Johnny played the saxophone for us, we all got up and had a dance. It was such a great place to go before heading off to the strip.

We came across Johnny's bar while roaming around and liked the look of it. Stopped of for a drink and Johnny served us on the veranda. After hearing about his Tuesday evening food and entertainment we booked a table. We had a brilliant evening, delicious food and Johnny was so entertaining playing his saxophone followed by a musical pub quiz then dancing to mowtown. Lots of fun and laughter was had by all. It's a pity that we only found it on last couple of days but when we return on our next holiday we will be sure to turn up for more fun.

Booked a night here for my Mam’s 70th birthday whilst we were in Albufeira. I cannot fault this place or the staff. We had the best night. The staff went out of there way to put up balloons and a birthday banner. The atmosphere was brilliant, adults and kids had a ball. They made the whole restaurant feel like they were there together. The quiz was great craic. Johnny was so attentive to the kids, giving them each a tambourine to play along to his saxophone. My son Sean has Down syndrome, Johnny was amazing with him, calling him on stage to dance with him. If you have the chance to go, DO IT before it's too late! This is truly a one of a kind, once Johnny retires I don't see how anyone else could replace him! Food was absolutely worth the 5 star rating as well!

A great venue, thankfully a five minute walk away from the Strip. Wonderful collection of photos of many of the jazz greats adorn the walls and the food, drink and music areal great. Staff are very friendly and efficient, and Johnny is a super host.

We hal already eaten so can not comment of food but we have heard really nice things about the food. We came as we like to listen to live music and there was a saxophonist playing, which I must add was great. Very friendly and really good at interacting. Music great.

Went with a group of 10 and had an amazing night. Without doubt the best night of 2 weeks in albuferia and Tommy was amazing on the sax and such a great attentive host making everyone feel welcome. Played some great tunes and also ran a quiz. Only regret was that we have to leave at 10pm due to kids when the party was just getting going. Brilliant night.

Good food,not amazing but pretty nice,we were there not on a show night and mid covid so not many there but all in all a nice meal that was a bit different. I would imagine on show nights or Sundays for roast this place would be brilliant!!! Go if you're in town,I will definitely go again!!!!
