This square is the central place of Cascais. The square is paved with Portuguese wavy pattern and a statue of the king Pedro I in the middle. The king has nicknames as the Just or the Cruel. Buildings are interesting because of the architecture and here are some of the city's key municipal buildings. Just across the street you'll find the centrally located beach "Praia Ribeira".
