Absolutely loved it!! Beautiful place, the most soundest staff, so tranquil, especially if u want to get away from it all. Rooms are amazing, huuge High ceilings, beautiful decor, massive balcony area overlooking the Atlantic ocean and pool when opt for sea view room. Amazing. My husband and I have travelled the world over the years and this is definitely a hotel we will come back to!!

Perfect all inclusive place for a destination wedding on the beach. My husband and I had planned our wedding for April 2020 but due to Covid had to postpone and then eventually cancel 🙁 However we did travel to Portugal a year prior and met with Rita and saw the venue. We were just amazed at how gorgeous the hotel is and we were really looking forward to having an amazing wedding at this great location. The tasting menu was also out of this world. Rita and her team worked with us to change the wedding date over 6 times and she helped me find hair and make up and videographer. (these extras were very few things not included in the packages offered) Every step of the way Rita was there to assist and ease our concerns. In the end, unfortunately we decided to cancel as we had waited for over a year and a half and covid was still around. The venue refunded our second big deposit and also gave us vouchers valid for 30% of our first deposit for future stay. They could very well have declined and there would be nothing we could do. All I can say is if you are planning on having a destination wedding definitely consider this venue, you will be amazed. It is right by the beach in an amazing town called Cascais. The food, venue, rooms are all excellent. Highly Recommend!

We chose this hotel when the nearby Sheraton was inflexible on a booking. We certainly weren’t disappointed! The hotel only does breakfast and lunch, which suited us well. Breakfast is extensive in its offering, except that it would have been nice to have eggs to order rather than only scrambled. Our room was in one of the chalets - comfortable, sufficiently spacious and clean. The terrace pool area provided good relaxation opportunities with a good menu. Service was excellent throughout our stay. We were more than happy that the hotel was not located in Cascais - we loved the opportunity to walk around the area on the very convenient and safe cycling and walking paths. The area surrounding the hotel is beautiful, and we were able to do morning runs and cycling on rented mountain bikes from a cycle shop in the town. A big shout out to Fernando who applied first-aid when I had a nasty bike accident. Greatly appreciated his expertise and care! Highly recommend this small boutique hotel if you want to explore this area away from the crowds!

Terrible service. After making a reservation that included my dog, and calling to confirm a couple of days before my departure. I arrived after a long drive and was surprised to find out that they were not ready to accomodate me and my dog. I was left frustrated, homeless, with a mere apology from the receptionist and the “gracious” offer to host me for a night while i searched for alternatives.

We had our destination wedding here a month ago. The team was amazing, very helpful and polite, from the wedding planners to the waiters themselves. All of my guests were impressed by the customer service they received. I highly recommend having a destination wedding here. I didn’t have to worry about anything at all. Thank you 😊

I can't give any star to this hotel. The location is not bad, the staff is friendly. However, First of all there was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom. Then, we booked our room via a third-party website. We were asked to pay the room anyways although our room was already paid. When that was cleared, we arranged for a refund. More than a month after, we are still waiting, even after many emails and many phone calls. This is unacceptable. We feel like we are being scammed. How hard can it be to transfer 240 euros? We are tired of this but won't give up. This comment will stay until we get our money back.

First of all, great staff. So friendly and so nice. Always on top of things and they made our stay a great vacation. Location is beautiful and great kitchen. Cosy rooms and beautiful gardens and surroundings.

Nice hotel, not up to our expectations. We expected at higher class of facilities and services. NO dinner available . Hotel carpet is very old and worn out. In our room was full of stains and not so clean. Pictures seems to show a lot of romanticism but are not once you get there. Pretty basic stuff not worth the money.

Nice staff and pleasant stay. Overbearing about returning pool towels - not 5* in this regard at all.

Great location with quick drive to downtown Caiscais. Gracious suite with nice view of the Atlantic Ocean. Large, elegant bathroom. Very clean except for rug that had many stains on it. Don’t think there was an elevator but bellhop can handle your luggage. Good waterfront breakfast is included!

I was scouting for a hotel for my parents and was going to check this one out. The location is great, but the smell which welcomed me in the lobby and the restaurant was awful. Not sure if this was due to a not fixed humidity issue or something. I’ve asked the person at the front desk if I could see a room but was told they’re fully booked, so I do not know if the smell is also in the rest of the hotel. The smell combined with the lack of friendliness at the front desk made me happy that I’ve went there before my parents booked their vacation.

It Certainly met our expectations. We would like to personally recognize staff members Marco and Wallace from food and beverage. Their attention, helpfulness and friendliness were greatly appreciated. Also a special thanks to Artur at the front desk. His response to our two week stay was greatly appreciated as he met our accommodation needs. His thoughtfulness is to be commended. We loved our stay at this hotel. We hope to return in the future.

Just stayed here for 10 nights. Such a beautiful place. The staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. We got amazing reccomendations on places to visit from one of the staff in particular. The view from the dining room is absolutely spectacular. The food was awesome. There were tons of choices for breakfast and it's served until 10:30am if you want a lie in. The lunch menu was great too, with decent variety and vegetarian/vegan options.

We had our wedding at Senhora da Guia for 50 people. All the staff were fantastic. The meal and service was excellent. I love the sea view and the orange colour of the buildings. The accomodation is a very good standard. Thank you to all of your team!!

stayed end of May start of June, taken a awhile to right review as still getting over the whole experience NOT the hotel fault but one of the worst holidays I've ever been on....Ok firstly start off by stating the staff were pleasant enough, and hotel kept a good standard of cleanliness But couple of points to Full aware of before staying here 1) located middle of nowhere, a good 15-20 min walk down a busy road before reach any food/drink locations & then a further 1 hr walk [at least into the centre] 2) No nice views, yes there is the sea but when the weather isnt great [it rained Every day during my stay] the sea turns nasty & large waves crash relentlessly against the sheer drop rocks (there is no beach) just outside hotel 3) and this is the biggest let down, there is NO food or drink served after 6 pm in hotel............let me write this again there is N O food or drink served after 6 pm in this hotel [pls note the location] I was informed of the restaurant just across the road that is open is the evenings, which is correct however if you don't book 24 hrs before visiting your not getting a table/entrance. The room was spacious but noticed a foul odour from the shower plug hole every time used [and the door did very little to stop water from escaping each time, causing a large pool of water to collect on bathroom floor] Things may have changed since my stay but wanted other travelers to be aware before booking this hotel. Final note there is pedal bikes for hire at hotel but unlike the other hotel bikes spotted on my many long, depressing walks into the town centre, Senhora bikes were in need of some much needed maintenance.....

The hotel's staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and it's conveniently adjacent to the town's golf course. Even though not all of the rooms had functioning air conditioning, this was not a problem because opening the doors allowed for a pleasant wind from the sea. Maybe not worth the 270 $ a night on booking but found the price on Locktrip for 175 $ a night a good offer especially if you use a discount with it, I found this code LMUKR .
