I absolutely loved training here! There is a relaxed, friendly and professional atmosphere that puts everyone at ease. The quality of coaching is excellent. The coaches ensured everyone could understand, sometimes explaining in different languages to accommodate everyone. There were almost always fellow female fighters at training and the gym felt like a great community I only trained here for a short amount of time but I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested in this sport of aggressive sweat transaction.

Having trained at different academies over the last five years, I can confidently say that this is a fantastic place for both locals and foreigners, regardless of their level or gender. Everyone is treated with respect, and instructions are in both English and Portuguese. The space is kept clean, and is well organised. I highly recommend it!

during my 4 month stay in aveiro i trained here and am really grateful for all the people i met and the good training sessions i had. great coaches, great people and a good overall vibe in the gym. its clean and constantly improving. my portugues is pretty much non existant and everyone always made sure that i knew what was going on and more often than not the whole class was held in english just because i was there. i really appreciated the time training with you guys - ill make sure to come back some time soon! :D

As a rookie in martial arts, this academy grabbed me (pun intended) from day 1. Starting from the group of people that train here, that are from different origin countries and different backgrounds... Once you step foot on the mat, nothing matters other than the respect and humility that culminate in a great environment. Not only this is a great academy for rookies like me, having in mind how the group manages to welcome you in, but also the amazing coaches that are open to help people from every level of experience always with the same attention. Being a fan of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. Glad that I found it.
