My wife and I had a great experience at Porto di Mare. We had pasta bolognesa and pasta arrabiata, both of which were very nice. We also had a bottle of wine from montepulciano that was reasonably priced. Several of the staff spoke italian and as is typical they allowed us to enjoy our wine without interruption. We stayed over an hour enjoying the wine, weather and, ambience. We ended with a scoop of gelato to go.

Had the best time ever at Porto di Mare. Elza is super friendly and warm welcoming. Also the staff, and the place itself is beautiful. When it comes to the food we had the best meal of our entire trip to Portugal in there. What a precious and delicious food! Thanks so much for the experience and I look forward to visit this place again and again. PS - do not miss the ice cream! Lemon with basil was my favorite

We had a very nice meal here, it was quiet because it was midweek but very pleasant.

Really nice meal. We only went to the ice-cream stand and then realised they had a restaurant. Very hard working staff, they try very hard to accomodate you. Pasta and Risotto dishes were nicely cooked.

Headed here for our desert tonight. The best Nutella Icecream you will ever taste. & So many flavours to choose from. ..Loved the Salted Caramel, coffee, creme brûlée flavours of Icecream too. Ordered at the gellateria counter and sat outside. 10pm Friday , buzzing atmosphere. Good fun.

Good food! We took one Spaghetti Vongole, one scallop with funghi and one tenderloin Al Pepe. Everyone was really happy with those dishes. Except two little things: the tenderloin wasn’t cooked enough (but we haven’t been asked for the cooking) and the lemon juice didn’t seem to be freshly juiced but more like a Pulco juice. People was really nice! Especially a young waiter, really helpful and kind! We will go back for sure!

Good Italian. For a tourist resort it is very good. Also do good ice cream.

We loved this little restaurant. The paella was superb and a very generous portion loaded with seafood, service was super friendly and the restaurant is set back in a quaint little corner of the village. We loved it so much we stayed for an extra drink.

It’s exactly what we wanted , cozy pleasant atmosphere, we had shrimp risotto and pasta and the food was delicious. The pizza looks delicious too.The waitress was so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place 🦋

Have visited this restaurant for two years on holidays. Food & service is excellent. Staff are so friendly and they have an ice cream parlour too! Best we’ve had in Cascais!

A very pleasant place where with an excellent service, everybody try to be efficient, the girl boss try to make the moment unforgettable. Hard work for all the staff but they manage successfully the overcrowded traffic. Thanks a lot.

A real Italian restaurant. I had the spaghetti fruits de mare filled with a lot of different sea animals :-) The taste was the best until I ordered dessert, homemade ice cream (gelato to be more precise). What a flavors...!!!

Yummy ice cream but the staff was rather unfriendly. It was not possible to try a flavor first which is very uncommon for this area.

Waited a long time for food to come out, received our bruschetta starter in two parts 10 minutes after each other. Staff weren’t friendly, the female manager was too busy serving passerbys ice cream and getting angry with her staff. Staff clearly don’t enjoy working there. When I asked for the cheque and politely declined dessert the waitress gave us a dirty look, got an attitude and didn’t get our bill for another 15 - 20 minutes. Food was average and price was expensive for what it was. I recommend avoiding this place and going elsewhere.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Cascais fantastic food great service and wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. They also have gluten free pasta! The owner is very sweet and friendly. I feel it’s my home away from home. Also it’s a great location, from here head to the beach or go shopping or sit and people watch.

Lovely food and atmosphere in the evening. The pasta was amazing and the ice cream is just the best !!!
