Slow service and even worse cocktails. Got the cocktail order wrong as well, which we waited for 45 minutes for. The carpaccio was quite nice though and the rating is only 3 because of that. Wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for nice cocktails. The spicy margarita tasted like pure alcohol, the vodka sour smelled like eggs and ths mojito tasted store-bought. If you're craving carpaccio, I'd recommend the beef truffle carpaccio which comes with a bit of parmesan, walnuts, arugula and truffle oil.

I have been to La Contessa a few times and it never disappoints. The food is very fresh (not only the meat/fish but also the toast and endive). If you like very fresh healthy food (that is also filling), you must try the house carpaccio and the Asian Tartare (yummy in my tummy)! Everything you order pairs perfectly with some wine or beer. The outside seating creates a great ambiance. Comparing to other restaurants in the area the waiting was normal, and the staff is friendly. Oh, can’t leave the dessert out… ingredients are also well balanced, not overly sweet and a good size to share if you only need that final bite to wrap up your meal!

Will totally be back! Delicious carpaccio, ceviche and caprese salad. The roast beat sandwich was delicious too. Great prices, perfect service (the dishes were served in perfect timing). Can’t wait to try more dishes. Enjoy

Can’t express the amazing evening we had. The food was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend the truffle carpaccio. It was stunning. Next one up with salmon ceviche. Very interesting taste with mild tigers milk but great combination. Can definitely send Peruvian ceviche a challenge. Estefania was a very pleasant waiter. She was super friendly and fun. Definitely left a memorable impression on the evening and a highlight of dinner. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a fabulous lunch at La Contessa today, mixed ceviche was amazing, very tasty and a good size serving at a very reasonable price. We also had a jug of their delicious sangria. The service was great with a very personable and helpful waitress. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Cascais.

we found this place while on the way to another place. and we are very happy that we stopped by and looked at the menu. we had steak tartar and chicken sandwich with hummus and green sangria. everything was nice. i would recommend to call sandwiches as quesadilla as they really look like more quesadilla than sandwich. only thing is that green sangria was super sweet but tasty. also i did not understand if the crisps were fresh or out of a bag actually.

The salmon taco was the most delicious thing I’ve tasted for a long time. Waitresses were very friendly and efficient. Super impressed and will definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful tasting experience!

You get a proper meal for a good price. For the ones who like to eat big has to go some place else though. Meals will fill your stomach but there is room for more. Sangria was amazing. Service was good, sometimes not really good in english but they were good nonetheless.

They are located at a lovely narrow street. They have delicious carpaccio, tartare and ceviche. One of my favorites in Portugal, definitely a must try.

We walked near the Carpaccio House restaurant and saw the beautiful red touches of color and welcoming decor, so we sat down for a lunch. Sharife was our server and he was wonderful! He explained the menu to us and gave us fast and friendly service. I ordered the Caramelized Goat Cheese Salad and the Strawberry Mohito and I couldn’t have been happier. It was one of the most delightful meals of our entire trip to Europe. The crispy, sweet crunch of the caramelized cheese was so unique and delicious. If I lived there, I would dine here frequently. Very happy to have dined at the terrace of the Contessa this evening, I happened to pass by in the street of this very lively neighborhood… The atmosphere was warm but above all I enjoyed : the salmon ceviche was perfect and the white wine delicious. Too bad I’m going back to France tomorrow because I would have come back to taste a piadinas! I thank again the waiter again for having worried for me, I had lost my identity papers and he kindly offered me a glass of water, so nice

Gem of a place if you like raw seafood or meat. The menu had a variety of ceviches, carpaccio and tartars. We ordered the beef carpaccio and mixed seafood ceviche. My husband had never had carpaccio before and loved it. The thinly sliced raw beef was tender and flavor. I have had a lot of ceviche and this was one of the best. Not overwhelming in lime flavor but perfectly prepared. Excellent white sangria as well! Victor, our server, was fantastic!!

The service was nice but very slow. The drinks came out quickly but the food took a long time. I ordered the contessa appetizer and the salmon and tuna didn’t taste nor look the freshest. The beef tartare had way too much wasabi in it, maybe to cover the fact that it is not that fresh. Would not come back again

This places has a small menu but everything is delicious. The live music next door makes for great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and fast and the wine is very very good. Must try the mix ceviche as it is absolutely delicious flavours.
