The booking process, communication with the hotel, room received and overall the way in which we were treated during our stay was exceptional. They really have got their customer service on point, and at no point do you feel like anything is too much - a home away from home! The decor is stunning, and views from our hotel were beautiful. We had breakfast on our balcony over looking the sea - and really enjoyed every minute there. If you are looking to relax next to the beach, in a beautiful setting with fantastic service, this place is for you.

Booked this lovely hotel for our last night in Portugal. Sorry we didn't have more days here. Lovely classic hotel with very good service. We got the last room available which was not oceanside but it was very nice. Breakfast was better than what we had at Hyatt in Lisbon. Setting is on the beach with sweeping views of the beach and sailboats. Easy 5 minute walk to shops and great dining options. I hope to return one day.

Stunning place to stay on our last night before departing Portugal. We wished we had more time here! The restaurant and food service was fantastic. Big kudos to the chefs and service staff. The views from the dining area and the proximity to the beach and town are both perfect. Thank you for the great stay!

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was always helpful, kind, and professional. The rooms are absolutely stunning - my husband and I made a reservation to stay in one of their deluxe sea view rooms and it was gorgeous. Their breakfast buffet is also top-notch with beautiful views of the water. The reviewers complaining that the staff lacked personality seem to forget that they're not the only people staying at the hotel...No one should have pause to stay here, it was great and I would absolutely return again.

The Hotel Cascais has my full endorsement and recommendation. We will stay there again on our next visit. A beautiful setting on the beach with an outstanding staff that caters to you every desire. A perfect setting for a romantic vacation. Book your stay and enjoy something special.

We chose the Albatroz as the location for our wedding, sight unseen. We had 30 guests travel to celebrate with us. The hotel was beyond amazing, from the rooms to the food they left no stone unturned. It was a fabulous venue for our wedding. The food was superb and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly highly recommend the Albatroz hotel, it’s the perfect combo of a luxury hotel on the beach within walking distance to the cutest town.

Lovely dinner on the terrace overlooking the ocean. The food was excellent and the service was exquisite. It is definitely a high-end place, but the quality and service is worth the price.

Run, don't walk. Absolutely stunning, great value, great good, great service. Heard another guest tell the waiter it was their favourite place and I can definitely see why! Perfect lunch spot.

Excellent 3 night stay here, perfect location in Cascais. Our room had an amazing view of the sunrise! Friendly staff and the breakfast was great. Would definitely return if we come back to Cascais.

We had a one night stay at this hotel and it was amazing. Beautiful views from the patio and restaurant. The staff was amazing about parking and leaving all the worry to them. The rooms are amazing and will take you back in time. Would have been slightly too small for a multi day stay but had a great space for getting ready and doing make-up. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a delight. Staff was great everywhere.

Hotel Albatroz Cascais is a gem that captivates with its beauty and tranquility. The staff's kindness and attention to detail create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are elegantly decorated, adding a touch of romance to your stay. The superb location enhances the overall experience. This hotel holds a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to creating more cherished memories here. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of luxury and charm. Thank you Mariana for the extra care, we really appreciate it.

Small but very beautiful hotel with a lot of character. Amazing location on the cliff towering over Cascais beaches. Very accessible beach and nice pool area. Dinner is of very high quality and portions are definitely enough! Paulino is great at what he does and so are the others working here. Rest of the region is very accessible: train station is 200m away and touristic parts of Cascais are at walking distance. We also did a very pleasant tour of Sintra, guided by Mr. Daniel Cunha from PortugalTours in a Tesla Model X. Cool experience, would definitely recommend!

Close to the station and tram. Restaurant is Mitchell star worthy. Except to pay €80/person but worth it for the quality of food. Hotel allows visitors to bar and restaurant but not to pool or poolside Close to beaches and local bars, Stays are 600-900 a night. But it is central and spectacular.

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic mini break here. It's set in the most stunning location, has beautiful stylish decor and is spotlessly clean. Luxurious rooms with big comfortable beds, breathtaking sea view room is a must! The food at the restaurant was exquisite, everything we had was beyond delicious. This hotel is so special with what is has to offer but the one thing that sets it apart from everywhere else is the EXCEPTIONAL staff, I have never been made to feel so well looked after, welcomed and comfortable. Every single member of the team we met was friendly, kind and gave great above and beyond service. A very special mention for the bar staff and particularly the very talented and friendly mixologist Victor and his cheerful cocktail student Lucas. We would have liked to leave a big cash tip to show our appreciation but unfortunately as it was such a short trip we hadn’t exchanged any money! Please make sure you make the most of Victor’s talents and try some of his cocktails. He made our stay here even more enjoyable with all the great and interesting cocktails he mixed for us, and he's great company too...a brilliant talent and asset to have working in any hotel! This was our first ever visit and we will definitely be back, this is a unique and wonderful place to stay.

A beautifully peaceful location where you can fall asleep with the balcony door open listening to the crashing waves. Sadly it was too cold to swim, The staff are wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful. Both restaurant and room service were delectable. We cannot wait to return.

Just back from another stay at the Albatroz. The hotel was excellent before the recent renovations. Now it’s even better. Large well appointed rooms; great views; friendly helpful staff; excellent food. And the room prices are more than reasonable for all this lovely hotel offers. Highly recommended. Thank you Albatroz for making our stay so pleasant. Hope to return next year.

We chose this hotel based on incredible service reviews along with proximity to the water. It did not disappoint. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best of our trip. Between the poolside drinks over looking the ocean and the private balcony in our room, definitely worth the price.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and it was our favorite trip yet. The hotel has such a unique and authentic to feel to it. The location is overlooking the beach and the staff are superb. They made us feel so welcomed and accommodated anything we needed. The restaurant experience for lunch and dinner is excellent. The hotel is located literally a walking minute away from the first shop in the center city of Cascais. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

This hotel was excellent. The rooms are great, and the service was beyond compare. The location puts you right in the heart of Cascais, as well as being on the beach. I highly recommend this hotel!

Can’t say enough good things about the Albatroz. Two of us spent 5 days here recently and every single thing — from the friendly and efficient staff to the food, housekeeping, condition of the property, general cleanliness, and the breakfast banquet every morning — was superb. Did I mention the location? Centrally located and overlooking the sea, with its vista (photo from our room’s terrace) and sound of crashing waves a constant presence.

The hotel is beautiful but the staff needs more personality! Many times we entered the hotel and were not greeted by the staff. The only one who was very welcoming and always with a big smile was Miguel!

We just completed a 2 week trip throughout Portugal and stayed at 5 highly rated hotels and this was by far my favorite. I don't know what to rave about more, the comfortable room and bed, the delicious shower, the incredible breakfast, the accommodating staff, or the priceless views of the ocean and beach from the gorgeous terrace restaurant. The adorable town is steps outside the front door where restaurants and shops await. Highly recommend stepping out on the beach broadwalk for a long beach walk that possibly goes all the way into Lisbon! Just loved this hotel and hope to go back someday.

Stayed here one night in a breathtaking sea-view room, could not recommend more! Best thing about it is definitely the staff, everyone is so kind, attentive and welcoming, we honestly felt like they were there to look after us and us alone in every aspect from start to finish. On top of this, the decor is fantastic, very tasteful and traditional but not at all stuffy or "old fashioned". Beautifully kept rooms, comfy bed (the biggest we've ever slept in) and lovely breakfast and drinks. The setting is incredible, right on a beautiful rocky seafront and very close to the station (so super easy to get to but without any of the noise). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Perfect view from the terrace. Nicely presented desserts but cafe affogato is not café late, should not be long either but rather a shot of espresso over a ball of vanilla ice cream. It's pricy but it's a 5* hotel and you pay for the view too. Service was good and professional but a bit of waiting to pay the bill.

The hotel it’s decoration and atmosphere is absolutely lovely. I can’t complain about the amenities and the accommodations. But the staff at the reception is nasty and v unprofessional and totally inflexible. Their English is mediocre and causes lots of confusions, causing misunderstandings they are not willing to cope with. They gave me 20 minutes to empty my room Because they screwed up my reservation booking dates. My stay was an absolute disaster. The midgets at the reception are arrogant and know Nothing about Hospitality. Off to Italy 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

We often go to this hotel to have a drink at the bar, usually during low season. We went there this summer and the bar responsible asked if we had a reservation. I said that no, but that we were regular customers. The bar responsible answered: If you were regular customers, you should know you need a reservation. I was shocked with his answer! Really not an answer one would expect in this place!

This was an absolutely beautiful building. The pool and pool deck were lovely. The location was a very easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. The room was very nice and well decorated if a little on the small side. I was disappointed not to have one of the blue and yellow decorated rooms I saw on the website which is really what drew me to this hotel. The room we got was unique and the decanter of port was a nice touch. The beach next to the hotel was crowded, although I expected this as we were there in August. The staff were polite but every time we came in or were out by the pool they seemed surprised to find we were staying there, which was a little off-putting. All in all, I'm happy we stayed here, Cascais was interesting to walk around, I had the best poke bowl of my life at a little sushi (Suki sushi cafe) restaurant about 2 blocks away, and the wine bar (the Tasting Room) just down the street was amazing, but another time I would opt for a shorter stay.

We loved staying here. This hotel is top notch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is drink and meal service by the pool as well as in the restaurant. All the food we ate was excellent and super fresh. Our room had a patio that walked out to the pool which was super convenient to go in and out during the hot day. The pool was a little chilly but perfect for the hot weather. This place is super relaxing.
