😠 Came to play visiting from Canada and was left disappointed. For the price, conditions were unacceptable, and there was ongoing construction on numerous holes throughout the round. Rental clubs were dated and also very expensive. I have a very hard time believing this was ever rated #55 in the world... People often mention golf, hotel,

Terrible course , badly maintained fairway, greens average. Too many people behind you and poor service. This course is not top 10, not even in cascais area. Avoid at best! Go to Estoril golf, Quinta de marinha or penha longa

This could be a decent course. An OK (but far from amazing) layout but it's in poor condition: inconsistent green speeds, bunkers very poor with exposed earth in many and the club deludes itself by claiming it's links golf (as far from a genuine links as I could imagine). I can't believe such a new course can be living on past glories, you'll be disappointed if you allow yourself to be convinced by the historic #55 rating, claims that 18th brings best golfers in world to their knees (they'd hit 4 iron, 8 iron) and laughable claim that 14th is one of the best par 3s in the world. Very expensive green fees and the bar prices are a farce (7EUR for a beer!)

Excellent "linksy" style golf course that stretches almost to the sea in the beautiful town of Caiscais. It's a tough test, with some fantastic golf holes, with plenty of very pretty par 3's too. Worth the trip for something different. Highly recommended...

Beautiful course but we went on a windy day with 40KM/H wind. It was really hard to play. There is no where to refill water bottles.

Not a links. We scheduled ODGC as the centrepiece of our 4 course golf trip, because we travel for links. Although it starts well with some nice holes, it eventually opens into a characterless, flat landscape. Not enough trees to add shape, and not enough slope to add difficulty. There ARE some correctly titled 'links courses' in portugal, (Estela or Troia) but this is not one of them. 12hcp, Ireland.

Great course with lovely views. They are leaving some areas wild for a diverse display off wild flowers in the rough. The greens are fast, true and very tricky. You need to be the right side off the hole to put and take care when picking your landing spot for your shot to the green. There are run offs and they have a tenancy to run over.

Great course. Read full course reviews elsewhere. Great staff, treated us very well. All agreed best course and all round experience of the 3 we played. Definitely first choice to play again next time. Only downer was heavy rain all day, but that's not their fault.

Beautiful and well maintained golf course. It’s quite challenging. In the afternoons, wind picks up which makes it even harder.

Amazing place ! Such a beautiful hotel. Service could be faster at the bar since there was just us but we had a great time there

Lovely course. Windy but did not distract from the golf. Fairways and greens were good. Some lovely challenging holes

Great course for the money! Felt like we played in a top quality course. The cart service was spotty as they only showed up twice while we are playing- but we were too engrossed in playing that we didn’t care. Pace of play was pretty good. Just a little bit of surprise for us when we started when they snuck in a 2 member walking group in front of us saying that they have to accommodate members- felt odd. But the members went pretty fast and we were able to get going. Every hole was well maintained with good fairways and the greens definitely was interesting as you had to pay attention to where the sea was to see if you are playing against the grain or with the grain. The views were great and I wish I took more photos - was just too busy playing and enjoying this course! The clubhouse was under construction so they said hotel lobby bar was it - hotel lobby was very good and the hotel looked cool as well. If I play here next time, I may just stay in the hotel.

👍👍 I’m still thinking about my food at this place. We were so lucky to get a table upstairs by the window with an incredible view. Our waiter was lovely and made our experience that much better. He recommend the tuna sandwich which was delicious and we also had a salad and a fish dish. The dessert was...

👍👍 Such an amazing place! You won't regret going here! It's easy to travel to Guincho beach from Cascais Terminal, with the bus no 415 or hop on hop off bus. The wind was quite strong, it's good the have a jacket or a hoodie when the sun is not shining. The water has freezing cold (on June 13th), and t...

😠 We ate here tonight and it was awful! We live in the area and had been wanting to try it because the music filtering down to the street has always been lovely. We called to confirm what time the live music would be tonight and arrived at 7 when they said it would start. Unfortunately the music didn’...
