Restaurant

👍👍 I've eaten steaks in the top steakhouses all over the world, and this local place blew them out of the water. One of the very best steaks I've ever had, and for €12, just crazy. Cannot recommend this enough! If in Cascais, just go here. I don't write reviews, but I needed to share. Lovely staff too... People often mention staff, good, service, restaurant, great, time,

The smile when I told them how good that steak was...make their day too and have an amazing meal. You will not be disappointed.

Arrived without a reservation and was glad to be seated after a short wait. Ordered a selection of tapas, soup and beef sandwiches. Soup (verde something ?) was super salty and would not order again. The beef sandwich was fantastic, along with all the tapas. Sangria was tasty as well. Attentive service and with a smile.

Great place for Portuguese style tapas. The freshness and quality of the food is consistently great. They also have nice dry aged steaks that are well worth trying. 👍

Very delicious food, with good variety, and generous portion sizes. There are great fresh juices available for drinks, as well as beers. The staff were friendly, and the food waiting time was quick. Definitely recommend a visit.

Highly recommend! I don't know if they had an English menu, we just ordered from the menu on the wall, which was in Portuguese. Several staff spoke English though. The food was delicious! We really wanted to go back but couldn't find time in our itinerary; definitely will return on our next visit to Lisbon!

We tried 4 snacks between 2, the portions were very generous and the service very friendly. The dishes themselves were very tasty. Would recommend the potato skin chips and fried squid

Worst experience in Cascais so far. Staff is terrible, as if they are doing a huge favor by serving you. After 5 minutes a waiter “dropped” the menu on the table and went outside the restaurant for a smoke. Others waiters saw me waiting and did nothing. When I asked another waiter if someone else could take a my other, had to listen I wasn’t being served because “I did not say good afternoon when I entered the restaurant.” Don’t waist your time and money there,

Superfood, quantity and price are on the top. We loved it! If you are in Cascais, you have to eat here.

Great food and attentive service. The restaurant was very busy even mid week. This meal was the most expensive during our week in Portugal, but not the best one. The service was also not up to the level we experienced in much more affordable restaurants.

Amazing tapas at a brilliant price. The octopus salad is the best I've ever had. Potato skins were better than potato chips. Calamari 🤤. Oh, and be sure to get the Sangria! We came here at the end of a private tour through Sintra - our guide did not stear us wrong.

Staff was lovely, they managed to find a table for 6 adults and 3 children without a reservation and most of the guests were English speakers so they were quite impressed with the restaurant. The food was brilliant, and we all absolutely loved it!

Excellent dinner. We had some appetizers, açorda de gambas (big shrimp), lamb shops, pork ribs (teclado) and great desserts. I recommend the house wine (red), strong and full-bodied with berry notes.

I've eaten here very few times in the last few years, but that is my mistake. Because every time I've had a meal at this restaurant, I've had a GREAT time. The service is kind and quick, the atmosphere is warm and homey, and the food is fantastic. You just can't go wrong here, regardless of your choice of food. I really should come back more often.

If you are a local maybe you'll like this place otherwise I'd steer clear of the overpriced mediocre food and pretentious staff.

Yes it’s summer, yes it’s a popular and good place and yes they must be understaff… just like the rest of Portugal…. but yes they were extremely rude, not helpful and didn’t care about our table at all! We left to a different place and ended up eating locally somewhere else! Don’t show up without reservation, even when tables are empty they don’t make the effort to accommodate you, on the contrary. And if they don’t answer the phone (I called for placing a reservation) is bc they are too busy, as I was told by the manager….!!! Maybe I was just very unlucky but the place is not so good for such an attitude from the staff…. Wasn’t my 1st time here as I’m from Portugal, but definitely the last one… they are loosing their touch!

If you are looking for a classic, original Portuguese tasca in Cascais I believe this is the best place. Tasty and fresh food that only Portugal can offer. Ask for wine or beer and try the mushrooms and the ameijoas. Can't go wrong!

We arrived around 9pm without a reservation. Place was loaded but we got the last table. Both food and service were excellent. I had the aged meat, which was fantastic. The waiter also consulted us well on the options and were very friendly. Definitely recommended!

😐 So, firstly, the food here was very good! The starters were very tasty and huge portions (so beware unless you're really hungry), and the pizzas we had were delicious. And if you have a table by the window facing the sea, the view is lovely. However... overall experience was soured by poor service....

👍👍 Perfection. Spider crab was very well cooked, and was cut and set to eat with least effort. Steamed octopus was so tender and seafood rice had rich taste. And all the foods went so well with green wine. Wish I could visit again.
