The only good thing here is that the waiter was very friendly! Octopus unsalted, Tuna Steak was dry, everything cooked, no red meat inside! Mixed meat on stone...not enough! Very small portion! Bathroom with smell...

I noticed this restaurant last time we were in Cascais, right next door to the one we were dining at, and saw that they had a typical Portuguese menu with prices that were about half of what we had just paid about 20 meters away. This place has a really friendly vibe, one can tell that it has been around for a while. The place is busy and usually pretty full, but we got a table within minutes. All the servers were extremely friendly and they all spoke English. The menu is translated into a variety of languages, I believe six in total. The portions were good and served within a reasonable amount of time. We went for dinner and there were families with kids there and numerous different types of diners. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. If you’re going, it is located in a walking street, so parking is a bit tricky and the roads are tight, but the area is beautiful and worth walking around before or after you dine.

We did not feel pressured to take the offered cover and immediately ordered lunch (we were on a tour & had limited time for lunch. Despite being *slightly* overcooked the Chicken Piri Piri and Cod Portuguese style had great flavour. Our companions had the Octopus and Shrimp Flamingo style and were happy with their choices.

The food was good, a very touristic restaurant. Just that the tables was so close to each others. I didn’t like the cup of gambas, it was just horrible, the sauce is very heavy and the gambas ar not fresh nor tasty for 11€ which is very expensive 😣 The espadon is good, the chicken too

This restaurant has a sitting area on a very busy foot traffic road. Service is fast, efficient and very friendly. Being vegan, I can personally speak for the veggie burger. It was hot and, I believe, a quinoa patty, served with lettuce, tomatoes and white onions. It lacked flavour, nothing that a touch of mustard couldn't help, but it was fresh. My friends had Portuguese fish & fries, grilled sardines and piri piri chicken. They attested that the dishes were all flavourful and spiced properly.

After some frustrated dinner attempts (slow table service, restaurants that didn't accept card payment etc.) during Estoril nighttime, we decided to give Flamingo a try, since the host who answered the clients in the outside area was quite polite and inviting. We opted to sit inside, since there was a lot of loud music from other places in the outside space. It more or less 5 minutes to be answered by the waiter and get the menu, and 5 more for him to get our order. The drinks came really fast, I ordered a beer mug and my wife ordered a lemonade, which came in some sort of "self-service" layout: a glass with pure juice and a bottled water so my wife could dilute it the way she wanted. We really enjoyed it, since it's way more hygienical (since we know the water used in the lemonade came from a sealed bottled water, not directly from the tap). Our dishes arrived less than 10 minutes later. I ordered a fillet steak in Porto wine sauce (with fries) and my wife ordered a traditional cod with cream. According to her, it was the best cod with cream she had so far (I'm not a big fan of the dish so I can't give my input). It even had green olives on it, which are her favorites. My steak was quite tasteful as well, the meat was very tender and the sauce was on point, I could even taste a little bit of curry on it, which was great since I like it a lot. The only remark I'd give is about the size of it. For the price charged (19,90 €) I think it should be a little bigger piece. The waiter didn't take long to get us the check, which made our experience even better. Very quick service, good food and reasonable price (considering it's a tourist region). Highly recommend the place.

I decided not anything much here as I looked at the reviews online and knew it wasn't going to be great. Tourist trap. We were seated before we knew what was happening. My partner got the cheeseburger. Looked like frozen and processed. They left bread, olives, cheese and pate down on the table then charged 8 euro for them. I personally wouldn't recommend this place. There is lots more to choose from.

Don't waste your time or money on this spot. Though it's well located with a charming patio, the 4.90 Euro cheese and expensive bread are a total rip off. Add to that the fact ghat the bread and olives come wrapped in plastic and the Cutlery is served in a paper bag and this spot feels cheap and frustrating. The cost of the food is way too high for the experience and quality. On the plus side, if you are feeding kids, the premade food comes out right away!

Reasonable price, food was a little bland. Ordered the shellfish rice for 2. Quick service.

Loved it! We were invited in by the waiter at the front, advertising the menu. He promised fast service and certainly delivered - this was the fastest service we’ve received in Lisbon. We ordered the grilled sea bass, seafood rice, a mixed salad, and bolinhos de bacalhau (deep fried bacalhau fritters). Everything came quickly, food was warm, and it all tasted amazing. I’ve seen other reviews saying the food was bland or frozen, but that wasn’t our experience. Staff was friendly and very accommodating of our tight time schedule. We were seated on the patio as it was a nice day, and the location is gorgeous! Honestly we didn’t search up the Google rating before we came, but I’m glad we didn’t because this was a test experience for us. Would come back again the next time we’re in Cascais.

The food was good. The service was fast maybe too fast, as my fish arrived before I finished the soup.

The soup contained rice and seafood. The soup flavour was nice but the fish didn't have much flavour. The inside of the location is very characteristic.

Don’t be fooled by the cheap price. It’s a big restaurant. This is a touristy coastal town. We made a bad choice for a quick lunch. You would think that by the coast they would have fresh seafood but what we had wasn’t fresh. And Portugal is well known for its seafood. We left deeply disappointed with the fried calamari and fish and chips, which were both under $10 euros each. We should have read the reviews before eating here. The service was quick and fast which was fine with us as we were there for something quick so we can have more time walking and looking around the town.

This is the place to eat a grilled octopus in Cascais. Lovely tender octopus at a sensible price. Location is ok and staff are super friendly

The Flamingo restaurant in Cascais is a true gem for those who appreciate delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. I am particularly impressed by their sardines and seafood - true gems on the menu. The pricing pleasantly surprised me in comparison to other establishments. Our habit of always sitting on the terrace turned out to be a great choice - from there, you can feel the incredible vibe of the city. The street where the restaurant is located becomes a kind of portal to the world of Cascais. I always recommend Flamingo to those who want to enjoy tasty food, feel the city atmosphere, and have a pleasant evening

Good restaurant with a large selection of various dishes. Chicken curry was excellent. However, rice was a bit dry but still tasty. Very nice ambiance with quick service. Grilled mushrooms were soaked in olive oil, and that took away most of the taste of the otherwise decent dish. Overall, it's a nice place to stop to stop by for lunch or dinner. Restrooms would benefit from some cleanup.

Went here on our second night in Cascais and returned every night. So much choice, such good value for money and very friendly and efficient service. Favourites were any of the grilled fish or seafood. If we come back to Cascais, this is where we'll eat 😊👍 Thanks folks !

When we arrived, they brought us water, it was in a plastic bottle, we were surprised, because it is usually in glass. Okay, we ordered swordfish and a seafood salad. Both fish and salad were just disgusting. Why? Salad with seafood and eggplant was with crab sticks and one terrible eggplant slice, the vegetables in the salad were cut into huge pieces. And the fish, there are simply no words, I have not eaten the taste worse. I do not recommend this restaurant, forgive the eatery.

I ordered a medium steak, but I got a rare medium, it was ok, a bit chewy, prices are normal, 10-15€ per person, they also have cocktails. Staff was friendly.
