We had an aperitif of delicious cheese, olives, and bread. We ordered grilled Bream (Dorado) for the main course, and wine. It was perfectly cooked and delicious! Also very reasonably priced!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Cascais! Super authentic. Fish direct from harbour in 50m from restaraunt. King prawns to die for! Service excellent. Every wish taken care of! 10/10

Very nice and authentic Portuguese restaurant with a local feel. We had Bacalhau à Braz and Bacalhau Caravela and we enjoyed our food with a nice glass of white wine.

What a quaint, friendly and breezy (if outside) place to eat delicious, well made local food. Away from the tourist noise, served by Pedro with a joke and a smile, this restaurant really made our stay in Cascais. Thanks!

We skipped the hawkers on the main streets of touristy and lovely Cascaís and found this GEM! Six fish and six meat options with a cover that was anything but basic. Their own olives, bread, sheep's milk cheese, and a lovely tuna spread that I wanted in bucket size! Our server, Pedro Penim, was attentive, helpful, friendly and professional- top notch! We ordered the black pork, house Vinho Grigio, beer, flan and coffee. Every. Single. Thing. Was. Deeee lish us. The pork could have been fork cut. Perfectly seasoned and freshly cooked. It was served simply, with rice and French fries. The flan was house made, the perfect texture with a hint of orange and a caramel sauce with just the right sweetness. Our espressos were a wonderful end to a lovely lunch. We left with Pedro's good wishes, fortified for more hours of walking through this gorgeous town. If you find yourself in Cascaís, skip the huge restaurants and come to this quiet local spot. You won't regret it.

We found this lovely gem while wandering away from the main streets of Cascais. We had a lovely lunch with wonderful food. I had the sea bass which was perfectly seasoned and my husband had the grilled octopus. We also enjoyed the tuna spread that came with our bread service. Great service as well and all at a very fair price. Highly recommend!

Local traditional Portuguese restaurant not to be missed. My favorite place in Cascais for the traditional " Bacalhau á Bráz" Recommended!

Excellent Portuguese typical restaurant in the centre of Cascais. Authentic and not expensive. Excellent service.

A typical restaurant for the area. The food was very good and the service friendly (though not a spot for a quick lunch). Watch out for the bread, cheese and olives they brought as soon as we sat down. They are not free! 18 euros for food we didn't request. I guess shame on us for not sending it back.

Simple but very nice! The waiters are very kind. We tried the octopus and the black pork, both very delicious!

OMG, it was like visiting my grandma’s house! It was a miserable rainy late November day and the special was like a pot roast. Smoked sausage, blood sausage, pork loin, fat bacon, and vegetables in broth. Outstanding. They treated us like family. One of the homiest meals I’ve have in forever. Obrigado!

Really great local Portuguese original food, becoming harder to find this sort of restaurant these days. Lovely cheese and hams, everything we ate was good quality and enjoyed the experience
