Very traditional Portuguese restaurant, popular with the locals as there were clearly plenty of regular customers in there on a Saturday night. For me this is always a good sign when visiting a tourist area for the first time, with too many restaurants to choose from. Menus in English are available by scanning a QR code but orders are taken personally. All staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Fish/seafood in particular is to a very high standard and, compared to London, prices are reasonable. Sat in the front porch area as the main restaurant interior was a little too bright for my liking. Would definitely recommend.

Quite disappointing, the shellfish doesn't have much taste. The staff will try to offer some starters, especially if you look like a tourist, but they'll include them on the bill at the end. The servings are ok but not worth the price.

Food was actually nice but the service is terrible which ruined the whole experience. They always force food on your table and you feel harassed every time a waiter comes close to you. They didn't do it to the people that looked less "like a tourist"

It’s probably one of the most expensive restaurant around the area BUT it’s so tasty and high quality that worth it. Polite and friendly service too.

My tour guy recommended me to go to this place, but it was very pricy, service and food quality at par, the food came out really late. The "big" fish we ordered was cut up into three portions hence it didn't have any drastic visual effect, and what I thought I purchased for 60 euro turned out to be costing 80 euro. To add insult to injury, they forced me to pay the tip at the end of the transaction while he was standing. This was the only place that asked me for tip during my Portugal trip.

As soon as we walked in the service was outstanding. They made us feel very welcome and throughout the meal they made sure we were happy. They went through the menu and gave us recommendations. After showing us the fish we were going to eat, the starters came instantly. The squid and oysters were the best I have had in a long time. The dara was insanely meaty and tender. The vegetables on the side literally melted in my mouth. I would definitely come back for this again and highly recommend it to anyone who is lucky to be close enough or not

Recommended by our tour driver. We try a 1.2kg seabass and shell fish rice. Fish was grilled and still very moist. Shellfish was a very large pot,l 4 of us can not finish the pot of rice.

This place was ranked as an €€ price-range from Google. To our surprise it was the most expensive restaurant of all. We paid over a hundred euros for some medium-tasting fish filets. Everything was charged extra bread, dressing. The food was nothing special. Service was good though

I think a restaurant of this caliber should offer complimentary olives and bread. Arroz de Marisco was excellent, though large for one person.

Nothing special , tourist oriented place, even the fresh fish was prepared average. Prices are high for such a place.

Tasty food, good service. However, they charge $3 pp for bread and Olive. They send in their jamón and will charge €15 automatically. All in all ok, expect high price. Our lunch cost €200. See invoice

I have fond memories of this restaurant as a kid, referring to it as the “gato” restaurant due to the gorgeous photo on the wall. In my opinion the best fries in cascais. Nostalgic & always friendly service. I hope to see Luzmar forever open

For a family of 3 - Traditional bread, cheese, water, grilled sardines, traditional Portuguese cod, soup and salad for £44 was fair price, the sardines were very fresh the cod was delicious, the service was great.

😐 So, firstly, the food here was very good! The starters were very tasty and huge portions (so beware unless you're really hungry), and the pizzas we had were delicious. And if you have a table by the window facing the sea, the view is lovely. However... overall experience was soured by poor service....

👍👍 Perfection. Spider crab was very well cooked, and was cut and set to eat with least effort. Steamed octopus was so tender and seafood rice had rich taste. And all the foods went so well with green wine. Wish I could visit again.
