Just one question. Does this look like a lasagna to you? And the pizzas where also tasteless and the crust was like gum. Don't get me started on 2,5€ cover cost and them trying to charge us for one more pizza, thinking we wouldn't notice. Tourist trap. In a country packed with amazing food, don't bother coming here.

The restaurant is like a colony of frogs with minimal attention span. They jump around, make a lot of noise and… bring you frozen food. To avoid, unless starvation is imminent.

We’re here already for 90 minutes without appetizers to come. How much time would slicing cheese take? Food was frozen, shrimps were smelling like rotten fish. This is horrible. Food is mediocre as a peasant in the Opera. Avoid it

Not clean place and very poor pizza (also ultra salty). POS “was not working” and they charged me 1 euro per pizza box. Also they did not provide a fiscal receipt. So they are ripping off customers.

Dirty space, very small pizza for the high price, they charge you for the box if you buy to go and they do not even ask before paying. They do not seem to have a process for hygiene as the cook had no apron and he did not wash his hands after using the phone and before handling the dough. The ingredient were hold in plastic containers. It is a NO for me.

I don't understand the bad reviews. A real Italian trattoria with a forty-year-old oven. Pizza delicious, desserts too. I recommend trying the specialty pizzas. Over-sympathetic owner, friendly Italian service. Coperto added to the bill as everywhere in Italy. Moderate prices. Really recommend.

Basic food, tasted average not great for the price. Service is decent too. The reason for 1-star is we were charged 2.50 Euros person as service fee. We were asked to give a 5-star rating for 5% discount. Suggestion for other travelers is to stay away from this place.

This place serves basic Italian food. The price can be relatively more for a basic food as this is close to a touristic place. But not too bad.

DO NOT EAT HERE. awful food made me sick in their toilets and their response was to laugh in my face and tell me that it is not their problem. Worst customer service I've ever encountered, I left in tears. They give people a discount to leave 5 star reviews, that is clearly the only reason they have so many. And to add to that, they have given us the most rude responses to my friends reviews. They are calling me a liar and that I "say" I felt sick, no, I WAS sick and I only requested my own meal to be taken off of the bill. I only began to feel unwell after I ate their pasta and now I am done being sick I feel fine again. It's not the heat as I have spent my whole life travelling in hot countries, I am genuinely shocked and appalled at the way this business responds to negative reviews, they tell people to go back to their country and that we don't know what we are talking about but the amount of 1 star reviews says otherwise. If they hate tourists so much why have a restaurant next to the leaning tower of Pisa ????? I'm honestly more shocked at the way they respond to their Google reviews than I am about the quality of food, out of all the places I have visited this is the most rude customer service I have ever seen

"Coperto" 10 euro for small table of 4, for pretty much no service. Waitress charged more than we ordered, then, when they were confronted about that, you won't believe it - they did that AGAIN - with a different item on the bill. Waste of good space in Pisa center. P.S. (update) reading the response to the reviews left here, I will go ahead and suggest that police might need to check on this establishment and google needs to label them as they are: scammers.

Wish I had read other reviews first. Huge bill for mediocre food. Everything is extra and not a bit but a lot. Tourist trap. The bread was dry, if you order a coffee like a long espresso they charge you double. If you ask if the burger comes with fries they say yes yes and then charge you double for the side of fries. On the menu they even write they will give you 5% off for a positive review which makes all positive reviews suspect. All in all, there are a lot better places the other side of the Tower complex, just walk 3 streets back and enjoy. Just a quick thanks for your response to my review. Great service and food. Very close to lean tower convenient to get some food after or before your visit. Service was very courteous and fast.

Food and service was fine. But they do have a €2,50/person cover charge. It’s written on like page three of the menu in the smallest font.

Had a nice cold beer and was given a tray of complementary snacks. Lovely atmosphere with welcoming staff.

A lovely Pisan restaurant in the "quiet" and less touristy side of the Piazza del Duomo close to Porta Nuova. Excellent range of food on offer but I will personally recommend the ham board, seafood linguine and a Pisa pizza. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors although the latter is more popular in the summer when the weather is dry. Staff were all very attentive, most speak good English if you struggle to order your food in Italian. The wait for food was not as long as other more traditional restaurants and to have a light and comfortable 2-course lunch it would take about half and a half including the table and food waiting time.

Food and service were both prompt. Lasagna and grilled chicken was quite good. No complaints here. For transparency: 5% discount if you leave a review!

Quick service, good food. Super coffee and homemade tiramisu highly recommended. Small service charge per head. Location is around the corner from the tower.

just a few steps from the main gate is this local Tratorria. Very tasty food and fast service.

Food (pizza and lasagne) was quite OK, but the service was terrible, far from making one feel welcome. Wouldn't recommend, sorry.

Best spot to settle in after a long walk at the tower... polite and friendly staff for sure.
