I haven't camped here, but we love the beach! Beautiful, sandy coastline, the water is clear, plenty of shallow water for kids to play. Dogs too! There is a designated "pet friendly" beach; to the left when you pull in. Clean park, clean restrooms with changing rooms. Very nice!

Another beautiful example of Michigan's State Parks. Right on Lake Huron and a perfect sandy beach! Excellent spot for small children as there's a sand bar, still giving them an area to play in the water without going too deep.

Sleeper has clean and accessible shower and bathroom facilities and their maintenance team keeps the grounds looking tidy and well kept. Check in and check out are easy and efficient. The beach is a short walk away and is well maintained. Can't complain!

Have never camped at this state park but the beach is absolutely beautiful. The beachfront is very large and smooth, meaning that there is a lot of beach to walk, chill, or do other beach activities, which really isn't the case in many other beaches along Lake Huron. You do have to walk down a bit to get to the beach. But it's worth it in a way because the area is relatively isolated and low-key. So there is a level of privacy even with for the amount of locals and tourists that are in the surrounding areas. Overall, this is one of the better State Parks on Lake Huron. The beach is not small and rocky, like many others.

I've really enjoyed my time in the campground. The staff is very friendly and so extremely helpful. The trails are beautiful and full of lovely nature. The beach access across the street is great. And it's nice to have the option to take the bridge over the road when you want to go to and from the beach. My only issues were that the showers need a bit more attention. One of the showers smelled like mold, and one bathroom stall wouldn't lock. Aside from those few things, I really enjoy this park, and I will definitely come back!

Super clean facilities. Most sites seem nicely spaced. Be prepared for uneven ground, will have to level campers. Dog friendly. Easy to walk or bike to the beach across M-25. Beach is a beautiful soft, sandy walk into the shallow, clear water.

We have stayed here many times. We have made so many memories from playing in the water, searching for rocks and awesome hiking. We have never had any issues with our campsites either. There is always plenty of room for our big camper every site we have gotten. Everything is paved so the kids love to ride bikes and scooters! The restrooms are very clean too!

Almost every campsite was flooded when it rained for a few hours. Normal rainfall not anything crazy. The pictures say it all. Rangers were giving campers pallets to access their campers so they didn’t have to walk knee-deep in water.

This was a nice campground and a good experience! The campsites were a bit small and on top of each other but we came relatively late in the season so it wasn't too cramped. The hiking trails were nice and the overpass walk to the lake was convenient as was having the power at each campsite!! I didn't use the showers but the bathrooms were pretty well kept. I wouldn't mind visiting again!

Love the campsite, great about check in even if you get in to late and have to check in the next day. The bathrooms and free showers are great and clean everytime we are there. Our site was right by the road and on the outside track and it was a huge site! Big enough for two campers and a few tents really. Great trees for hammocks and not to steep and incline for levling. The bridge over the road to walk to the beach across the street is a trip but it is nice to not dodge traffic. There wasn't water hookup at our site and I believe none of the sites have it so make sure you get that water when you pull in unlike we did! We booked all online and it was a breeze with the site map and with payment. And Caseville is a very nice little town and great for people that don't like atvs and side by sides ripping around like Luzerne. Everytime we are up they have a festival going on! Highly recommend for a quick weekend camp!

What a great park! The beach was beautiful and across the road are trails. The water was even swimmable on Saturday, the first day of autumn.

Small state park. Parking is plentiful. Some boardwalks to beach do have ramps for accessibility. Flush toilets closed out of season (we went in October) but had pit toilet & multiple port-a-potties available. Michigan state park recreational pass card needed. We tried to get one at the park and at the campground but no one was around for one. RV spots in campground are basic. Would have liked to see more about history of park as it boasts “ancient dunes” online but no information at the actual park.

⛱️⛱️⛱️⛱️⛱️ Beautiful state park right on Saginaw Bay Lake Huron. Pristine forest. 🌲🌲Walking and hiking. 🏕️ Campground is across the road from the beach but accessible by a pedestrian bridge. Sandy beach great for walking. Accessible by wood staircase over the dunes. Perfect for a picnic. Timbered picnic pavilion. 🧺
