    Will serve you raw undercooked battered fish then expect you to drive the order back up there for them to remake it even though you don’t live in the area….a refund would be nice considering the way I found out it was raw was because I took a bite! Why would I want you to remake anything?

    Everything was fried too hard in what seemed to be old grease. Asked for tartar sauce. Was not given any. They were out of cocktail sauce. Everything was greasy and fried in old grease. While nothing was burnt everything was hard and greasy and dark brown. I used to love eating at this location. I won't be back though. Very unfortunate.

    Whatever you do, do not go to this specific location. They do not care about the quality of the food. Go to a different location. They will give you HALF of the portion size that they’re supposed to. When you try to call them, they do not answer the phones because I’m sure they’re aware that it’s a customer complaint. Spend your money with a different location but don’t waste your time or money. If the company truly cared, management should’ve replied back to all of these reviews but this just goes to show you exactly the treatment you’ll receive. Save your time and money. This all could be avoided if they took their time and actually answered their phones for moments like this.

    I have never been to this store before and was going to try it. However the lady with the short blonde hair gave me a dirty look as soon I walked in as if I wasn't supposed to be there. Also the floor was covered in oil and I almost slipped. Needless to say I didn't eat there.

    There was no line you would think your food would be fresh we had 2pieces of fish coleslaw and fries. The fish looked like it had sat in grease for hours my friend and I won't be going back anytime soon. It use to be flakie and white inside it was all grease.

    I can't even give a review because they were too lazy to even make my order. They cancelled my order and told my dasher they were closed. I called after my dasher was told to leave, and the girl said they close in about 10 minutes. Web says close at 9, my dasher was there at 7:40.

    I am a vegan so it may be surprising for me to review Long John Silver. I often bring a fish sandwich meal to a friend near by. The location is actually difficult to get to from I-157 unless you catch the turn just right. Fortunately it isn't difficult to come in from a side route in the shopping plaza. The food is always fresh, hot and all the extras are in the bag. Th staff are especially helpful and friendly. It has aways been a good experience and my friend raves about how good the fish sandwich is.

    The guy working the drive thru was a complete idiot. I had to give my order three times—-once at drive thru and twice at the window and he asked a fourth time. I drove off as I figured that if he had that much problem with comprehension the order was going to be wrong! And, please don’t tell me to reach out to you and provide a web address or 800 number to call. Consider my review reaching out to you.

    The drive thru speaker lady was attentive and amazing but when I got to the window it was a totally different experience. Was told to pull to lane 1. There are parking spots but no lanes to pull to. The cooks were taking there time like they had been smoking weed or something. The lady behind me was told to pull to "a lane" as well. Her food was made completely wrong, plus these folks made her wait when she went in to make things right. Where is the motivation for working? Legalized marijuana and higher wadges isn't enough for some. Sad.

    I ordered a 2 chicken combo with double fries, and the girl at the drive-thru cashed me out with another order (2 fish & 3 chicken platter w/ hush puppies, corn, mac & cheese, & a fish sandwich w/ cheese). Keep in mind that after I ordered, she said that she’ll have my total at the window. When I told them about the mess up, they said they couldn’t refund but could add 3 extra chicken to my order, so I said that’s cool. When I got home, I got my 5 chicken but I still had hush puppies & the fish sandwich, and I got cheated about $10 extra. So mad! The one time they’re open during the week and they screwed up my order. Never coming back.

    Had not been to LJS for years, the cashier was so kind and friendly but omg the food. I had to wait which was not a problem but when I got the food it was not fresh and room temperature at best. The size of the fish seemed to be about half the size it used to despite the high price, the shrimp was small, cold, and not good. In all honesty nothing but the hush puppies were edible.

    I love the A&W in Belleville Illinois, so I decided to try the one in Collinsville. When I pulled up to the drive thru menu, they have food listed for LongJohn Sivers and A&W and I didn't no how they took the orders so I said the number of the item I wanted. They asked was it the long john silver menu or the A&W menu. I'm thinking, why would you number the food with the same numbers and you no it's only one restaurant, that is confusing! So I had to say what it was I was ordering and still say the number of the item. I finally received my cheese burger and fries with shake and it was good.

    I normally don't go out of my way to review places, but this place gave both my boyfriend and I horrible food poisoning. He had food from the A&W side and I had food from the Long John so there was at minimum some kind of cross contamination. Took a half hour to get my food and then I ended up getting violently sick the next day... extending over several days. As an immunocompromised person, it's scary to get severely sick from food. It took a day later for my boyfriend to get sick. The manager seems like she's trying her best and was nice and trying to handle some kind of situation with a worker it seems like. The food being late is pretty inconsequential given the fact that I got sick but no one mentioned the food we ordered had a wait. There was no offer to refund so we could leave and go elsewhere. It's really messed up stomach and I'm still feeling the effects of the food poisoning days later. I went Friday and was exhausted on Sunday. Please train your staff in food safety. I did food service as a teen and young adult and the situation feels both egregious and insulting. I was so excited to have a local A&W and Long John Silver because there weren't any close to me from where I used to live. It's incredibly disappointing knowing I can't go here again because I can't trust that the food won't make me sick.

    I’m not big on bad reviews but the food is pretty gross there compared to how it used to be. The fish wasn’t that great, the green beans were plain and the fries were old and cold. The only thing that was decent was the chicken but for $70 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat some fast food I’d rather pay $20 more dollars and go somewhere way better like Texas Roadhouse or something. I’m definitely not going back there but your opinion might be different than mine or maybe it was just who was working that night. Still way to expensive for fast food when there are better options out there for me.

    Absolutely the worst long John’s I’ve ever eaten at 27 minutes for a order when half of it was batch cooked in hot pan tartar and condiments in cups out front not on ice fish undercooked chicken was tough freezer burnt taste rude staff should’ve left when it took 10 minutes to get someone to take order mind you we were only ones there we came in because couldn’t read hoopty menu board NEVER be back

    I went here on 1 Mar 2023, pulled up to the drive thru no answer, finally ordered my food, 6 pieces of fish and a cheeseburger meal with only onions. Paid for my food, was asked to drive onto the other side and wait, it was about 10 minutes, got my food and drove home. My cheeseburger had lettuce, sauce, pickle, tomato and onion. The fish and fries were burnt and my root beer had a few pieces of ice. This was a waste of $27. Will never go back.

    I was passing through from Dallas to Chicago tonight. I was in the mood for some fish and my husband a burger. I was met with wonderful service from a smiling staff dedicated to serving the public and doing their job well. Our food was served hot and fresh, quickly and kindly. I would recommend this location to anyone and if I passed back through this area I will certainly stop myself. Thanks for the great experience. -MeganMagenta

    Took forever to receive my order. They never say thank you after purchasing your meal from them. I ended up pitching $22 worth of food because it was pure grease and after waiting so long my food was cold. The grease you could see and it had already started to turn white. I will review because I will go back here this was my 2nd visit and it's still not up to par.

    Horrible !! Several items undercooked. Ordered coconut shrimp, came all shriveled up burnt nuggets. Spent way too much money for poor quality food.

    It's not even 8pm and they won't let us eat inside. We went through the drive through and sat in the parking lot and ate in our car. While we were eating we watched multiple cars pull up then leave because they couldn't eat inside. My coleslaw was only half full and my tea tasted like they made it with dish water. We won't be coming back to this location.

    I worked here and the manager Sabrina doesn’t do a thing she’ll walk around and act like everyone else isn’t doing anything while she pretends to do her count that she’s not supposed to do till she’s about to leave for the day. Then she’ll say you quit when u try to put in your two weeks she’s very unprofessional and needs to be let go her age alone should make it to where she can’t work, she makes cooks do cashier jobs and makes cashier do cook jobs and she has no sense of organization or health codes she’ll get on certain workers about dress code and showing up on time and is more easy going with other (definitely picks favorites) and it’s usually the people that don’t work that she favors id never in a million years work or eat here there’s mold on their buns and their meat is left sitting out for hours

    Between the blown up menu sign & the inoperative headset the drive-thru is pretty much ineffective.  My food, however, came out fast & steaming hot.  I ordered the four piece fish dinner with green beans & coleslaw.

    The $1 daily deals is a great value. Stopped in the try the new pop corn chicken and fish tacos. Overall the food was good and employees were friendly. It did take about 5 minutes to receive our order. The entire restaurant was clean. Would like to see some healthier options like grilled fish or chicken. My family likes A&W and this is the only Long John Silver / A&W location around he St. Louis metro east Illinois area.

    went an hour before they closed and was skeptical from previous bad reviews.. the lady working the drive thru was very polite & even read our order back to us. we waited about 5 minutes, they cooked everything to order and WOW it was super fresh/hot once we got it. definitely worth the short wait & one of the best experiences I’ve had at a long johns. :-)
