The only thing I was impressed with was the Star Wars area. Other than that, everything about Hollywood Studios is just on the decline. Let me tell you. For $15, you can add lightning lane to your park card that allows you I the fast line. You can only book 1 ride every 2 hours and with only about 10 rides, it's definitely not worth it. Most rides were fully booked by 11am which only allowed us to use the pass once by the time we were able to book our second ride. That ride ended up being book 6 hours after our arrival to the park. The other issue... you had to book to eat as well and sometimes that was a longer wait than a ride. We wait 80 minutes for our food which was a burger and fries. Lastly, this place allows way too many people into the park. Many times we were in crowds lo large we could get anywhere for a while. Several attractions were closed too. Unfortunately, I will not he back until some changes are made.

An amazing experience! If you have an older child, plan on spending more time at HS than any other parks! In SW area, it feels like you are walking right into the movie set! The rides were much more intense and entertaining than any other parks. We spent two full days and had lots of great memories created.

I loved this park. Definitely one of the best for adults. Tower of Terror was amazing. Rode it three times. The Star Wars section is so well done. You feel transported. Rise of the Resistance was absolutely amazing. We did the Millennium Falcon ride four times by going on the Single Rider lane—we never waited more than a few minutes at any time of the day, but you will not get to be the pilot. You should wait on the regular line at least once to experience being the pilot. We used the Lightening Lanes for every ride. I can’t imagine doing Disney without it. The Toy Story section was magical and the Slinky Dog coaster might be one of my favorites out of everything. There’s so much to do here. No need to park hop since they have a night show.

So much fun to be had here. Love the fact that the parks are separated. Went to Disneyland in California and it always felt not just crowded but over crowded. While there are still long lines we had a blast. Love all the attractions and how majority of the staff are super friendly even after these long crowds. Loved Galaxies Edge. Can’t wait to go back.

It was so fun, but OMG! why so many lines? Bathroom was always clean, people were friendly. Food and drinks, of course too expensive. You can buy the bucket and get refills of popcorn for less then 3 dollars - I think that it was a pretty good deal. Some restaurants have carbonated water For free .

December 2021 - my 3 daughters (4,6 and 9) loved the tower of terror ride. When it was done, they wanted to go again. The elevator drop they said scared them a bit but nothing they could not handle. It was one of their favorite rides. Great park and my kids loved it. They wanted to go back the next day. Food, rides, people, security, etc. Everything was great. We had a great visit.

I enjoyed it. However didn't realize how intense Disney adults were and the scooter riders who have no respect for people around. Be prepared for Disney adults to push in front of you in shops and just have no general respect for the happiest place on earth. Galaxy's edge was absolutely amazing

I love Disney, but I found that this park doesn't have enough rides and attractions to keep the lines and crowds down. We spent two days here and couldn't do all we wanted, not because the park is too big, but because the lines were too long. The 50s diner and Italian restaurant were both awesome! Don't miss Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, it was much more exciting than expected. Hopefully I'll get to ride the Slinky Dog ride next time :(

Disney's Hollywood Studios was a delightful treat. If you can only make it to one park or a few parks while in Orlando, Hollywood Studios should be one, or the one. There is a great variety of rides, shows, exhibits, sets, shopping, and history. The magic of the silver screen comes to real life. The new Star Wars area was spectacular, and Rise of the Resistance is a must. Overall, it's worth the park fee. If you can bundle for a multi day pass, you'll get the most value. Happy Travels!

Star Wars Galaxy Edge is the best of this park! I really loved to visit this new land, is wonderful, I mean when you are walking there you can feel as a part of that world, and is not only the big things, even in every small detail Star Wars is there, you can see it, you can feel it and be overwhelmed as a fan. I enjoyed my first visit to this park. There are many attractions to play with, those roller coaster, specially my favorite The Rock and roller coaster. I tried the Disney Genie ($15 per day) and it was good, if you make a good plan you can save a lot of time with it. The park was fully and some attractions collapsed and close by time to time. It's happened with Rise of the Resistance, the waiting time for it was always insane (around 120 to 180 minutes). Last time I tried and after more than an hour in line it was closed for technical reasons and I couldn't make it😢 ♿The whole place is accessible. There are places to rent scooters and the cast members offering wheelchairs to people who need one to access in some attractions.

Swarmed with people as far as the eye can see. I will warn anyone who decides it's a good idea to visit Disney world Christmas week or anytime during Christmas school vacation. The place was so mobbed you couldn't see anything but people's heads. Getting bumped into, hit by strollers, and people beeping at you on electric scooters is not my idea of fun. Trying to get into any of the dining areas was near impossible. I was lucky enough to snag a lunch at Mama Melrose but that was luck. I believe it came down to staff shortage again. There were plenty of empty tables but I don't think they had the staff to fill them thus the hard time getting in to eat anywhere. The Minnie and Mickey runaway train ride was fun, it's one of their newer rides. The Star wars land was packed which I expected it would be. Again trying to get any type of food or beverage there you had to wait in line for close to an hour. So there was an hour unless you had in the park every time you had to stop. The park was clean especially with the amount of people that were there. Toy story Land was nice for younger visitors but I didn't find much for those that were older. The two new star war rides were nicely done. I hope they continue to add on to this land because it could be so much more. Then there was the old Muppets 3D that you didn't even have to wait to get into because no one cared about it anymore. There were a few attractions like this which made it easy to get into. Some of these attractions need to be redone or taken down and replace with something else. All in all it was a decent day and one of the better parks as far as cast members go.

Our first trip to Hollywood Studios and its definitely one of our favorite parks. They had great rides and we loved seeing everything decorated for Christmas. We rode almost every ride we could. I loved Rock N Roll Coaster, my kids loved Slinky Dog and hubby loved Tower of Terror so something for all of us! We also loved all the shops and restaurants too!! Unfortunately bc of COVID no shows were going on, however, we still had a full day of fun!!

It is definitely worth going for the experience. Sadly, about 90% of our time there was waiting in lines. Regardless of lightning pass or not, you still spend a considerable amount of time waiting in lines. I'd recommend going when it's not a holiday or weekend if you can. Overall, I loved the experience but probably won't go back unless it's on a non-holiday weekday.

This was my first visit and I must say I was thoroughly impressed concerning both the scope and scale of this establishment. I enjoyed the creative atmosphere, meticulously arranged foliage and overall atmosphere. I visited for Christmas and must add that the festive decorations were significantly more impressive than I anticipated. My only grievance is that they were far too strict concerning covid regulations at the time compared to other establishments.

What can I say about Hollywood studios that you probably don’t already know?! Not much right!!!! Well that won’t stop me from telling you it’s one of the greatest places ever!!!! If you are a STARWARS FAN this one’s for you!!! So much centered around the move and themes you’ll love it, fun for all ages literally, every where we went they told me daughter happy birthday!!! You get a free pin at the front just ask, and they’ll be happy to. Lines weren’t long to get in however I definitely recommend the lightening pass as it makes your life much easier for those 150 min wait rides. There was a ride or so that has single riders so we were able to avoid the long line by just going separate. Also If you have an infant you can go to the end of the line and do a swap while your family rides regular they will allow you to switch out without standing in line again, which I thought was pretty important to mention for families. It’s great to also have reservations at the food places to guarantee a spot and set time. I booked early and our tickets were about $130 ish for 1 day non Florida residents. You have to make sure there is availability the dates you want then book the tickets. The mask restrictions are also currently lifted.

Was such a cool experience. It's definitely mostly visual. The star wars "galaxies edge" part of the park was my personal favorite. They do a great job making it feel realistic. The rides were not typical rollercoaster rides. Obviously they're more for kids but they all have a theme. Overall it was really fun, however it's a park that you really only have to visit once due to how small it is.

Very fun park! A bunch of things to do and eat and although there was a lot of people visiting, restaurants and snack lines moved quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend buying the Lightning Lane for the Star Wars attractions because it can get very time consuming. But the Rise of the Resistance attraction is well worth it!

We loved it more than Magic kingdom. Beauty and beast show is highly recommended. Lightening McQueen show also was great. We enjoyed our day. STAR WARS SECTION IS A MUST SEE! I am not fan of star wars but I fell in love with it. So much details and work all over the park. Staffs were so friendly and helpful.

Very fun park to visit! We obtained the lighting pass which was very convenient, we had to reserved our time in line to get in a ride. We were able to completely do everything in the park. Our favorite side of the park was most definitely Star Wars Galaxy Edge. A must do! It was also the longest wait time follow by the Toy Story Roller Coster. We also went on the day where Fantasia show returned. The line was insane!!!! Everything was magical! Disney Staff were all friendly and provided amazing customer service.

Such a pleasant place to spend time with family. I mean who doesn't love feeling joy like a child and seeing the joy in a child's face. You have entertainment, food and so much more. We went in early to park close to entry gate. Purchased tickets on line prior to speed the process. Special parking available and fast pass into rides available for an extra fee. Wheelchairs available. Do your research to get the best deals prior to visit. You can bring your own food if not then food is available at a costly price. Bathrooms galore and not too crowded many stalls. Download park map which shows wait time on your cell so you have a better idea when planning. We went to the most popular ride first thing in the morning. Later in the afternoon same ride had an 80 min wait. Plan accordingly. Oh and keep track of where you park your car. Hope this helps.

No concern for guest experience. Fast pass is disabled. 80 minute waits for rides in Hollywood studios or longer. The day is wasted and there is little to show for it. Cast and crew members have been less than friendly or helpful. I suspect they are tired of the complaints. I have been a fan of Disney all my life. I have been here 10+ times and this has been the most disappointing experience. Although you’re managing the park during a pandemic, your response has been poor when compared to how Universal is operating through the same time in terms of sanitary efforts and guest experience. Sorry Disney, I want to rate you higher, but, I can’t. In the end, it was just a waste of money.

I don't care if you are a fan of Star Wars or not. The area of the park dedicated to it is seriously impressive. My best friend has never watched anything Star Wars (I promise she doesn't live under a rock), and she absolutely loved it. The design and attention to detail is incredibly impressive. The three main rides in that area are some of my favorites. I seriously hope Disney expands the Star Wars experience. We ended up only spending about half a day at the park, but it quickly became our favorite and the first one we want to come back to. Highly recommend the Beauty and the Beast show. It's 30 minutes of great entertainment and a chance to be out of the sun for a bit. Toy Story is pure fun! You can't help but smile in that area. The colorful design and ode to all things toy can bring out the kid in anyone. DISNEY Hollywood Studios is a great park for the ride seekers as well as the show watchers. We also saw more characters than the other parks.

Honestly let's be real how could anyone write a bad review about anything associated with Disney, unless its a low end mall's disney story or the Swan Hotel... But Disney's Hollywood Studios, formally known as the MGM Studios to the true Disney Fans, is a time well spent. The best part about this park is all the new renovations that are going on. The Hollywood Movie Ride was recently renovated to be a Mickie and Minnie themed railroad ride that utilizes Disney's latest technological innovations in engineering similar to that of the new star wars ride whereas it consists of self driving, trackless ride vehicles and due to COVID everyone is nice and spread out so its truly like your own personal ride.

Best park hands down! The Star Wars section was absolutely incredible. I felt like a little kid walking around and meeting the character and riding the rides. Great snacks, food and entertainment. Will visit again.

the attractions are very good, the facilities very well designed, there is organization, there are attentive staff to guide and serve you, there are well-located and sufficient bathrooms. there is a variety of places in drinks and food, as well as sales of articles or souvenirs. In general everything is very nice. What would improve if possible, are the waiting times to be able to enter the attractions, there are some that have shade, and eventually where to lie down or sit, but the lines are very stressful, you last longer in line, everything else is fine, I recommend it and would return.

I REALLY enjoyed Hollywood!!! The rides was fun, the food was good and had a lot of options, however a few more would not hurt considering the amount of people at this park daily, and the different areas of the park was awesome. The Star Wars area was amazing, and I'm not a Star Wars fan! The shows we really enjoyed as well as the rides. Definitely plan on this park being one that you visit !!!

We loved our day at Hollywood Studios! The overall vibe of the place is great and the rides and shows are amazing! We managed to get on everything except Tower of Terror which broke as we got to the start but otherwise particularly loved the Rock & Roller Coaster, Slinky Dog Dash & Mickey and Minnie Railway. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Beauty & the Beast show. Would say you'd need to make use of the lightning lanes to fully enjoy your day - at some points the queues were well over 2 hours.

Disney’s Hollywood Studio was another magical place where you experience exciting things in your ways. The waiting may be tiring, but the result may not. Genie+ application helps you to reserve your favorite rides once every 2~3hours? And for the rides that is very popular, I recommend waking up at 6:50AM and prepare to mash that button to get into at least one slot of time in lightning lane because you’re going to be surprised how fast those tickets go out.

This was probably my second favorite park out of all four. It is such a family friendly park and has amazing rides not just for the kids but for the whole family to the new star wars experience is sooo cool to it looks very real and adds a whole new experience to the park. It is suck a magical place to be and i definitely suggest you make it a stop on your time at Disney World.

Love this park ☺️ I do think they need to go back to how it was before. The prices are so high that’s for a normal tickets prices or for an annual pass holder. We don’t get as much benefits as we should. The park should have more discounts for us to enjoy . I think there a lot to work on special for the thought of a family going there it’s basically spending your savings for years on a vacation that only lasts maybe 4 days. It’s very expensive for food and for the products they should really improve on that for their customers. The rides are great and the park usually stays clean for the most part.

Absolutely incredible park with a great energy about it. Each and every member of staff we encountered was super friendly, prices are what you expect and mobility/wheelchair access friendly throughout. Facilities always spotless on every visit, ample water stations. Rides sometimes have a few issues but again, to be expected! Family of 2 adults and 3 kids between 7 and 12 all had an amazing time.

Visited this place last week. Riders are thrilling than other Disney parks. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Millennium Falcon, Space Mountain, Alien Swirling Saucers, these rides we were able to go on half day. Kids rides were enjoyable too. Had lunch at Star War restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious. If you are staying Disney resort utilize the 30mins prior entry wisely to cover all the rides. Frozen sing-along, Indiana Jones were truly magical.

Disney Hollywood Studios has made every Star Wars fan (both old and new) come true with their new Galaxys edge expansion. It was incredible to see how screen accurate the rides and props are. The overall park is amazing and the staff is very friendly too!

For a holiday i was very surprised how smoothly it went. It was full but definitely not at full capacity. But not super empty. The lines were round about a 30 min wait and that's even for big rides like "Rise of the Resistance". Overall the park is doing great with its new changes and the dedication to detail when it comes to immersed experiences. There's still alot that you can tell needs to be worked on and needs improvements. But overall a great place to visit.

Decided on visiting Friday morning and it was a win. The weather was great and the park wasn't packed. Pro Tip-Get the Disney app and coordinate your attraction reservations, character meet and greets and ordering food. We arrived around 9:45, we did the Vacation Fun (Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie), Runaway Railway, Minnie and Mickey meet and greet, Monsters Inc character meet and greet, The Incredibles character meet and greet, the Slinky coaster, Toy Story character meet and greet, had lunch, Max character meet and greet and the Runaway Railway again..all by 1pm.

The park was well organized and wait times were very reasonable. They do a great job of managing traffic even at the new Star Wars portion of the park which is very popular. The new Star Wars, Rise of the Resistance, ride was so impressive and engaging, and that's coming from a theme park connoisseur...! In all seriousness this was probably the most realistic and emersive rides I have ever been on. ✅️ 💎 WOW 💎

It is a great park, but smaller than the Magical Kingdom, I guess this is the reason it is more crowded. The Star Wars plateau is the best. You can spend your half day there. All the other services were good enough for you to enjoy your day. There might be more information about the rides on the app, I could not imagine what is going to happen and how scary is the ride in advance.

Hadn’t been here in a long time and went basically to build a lightsaber and we spent the day. We did as much as we could while we waited for the saber appointment. The build experience was well worth it. I even got a couple other color crystals as well. If I went back I’d probably get another saber that’s one of the movie accurate ones. Highly recommend it and I was surprised by the quality of the food and drinks too.

Still a great park. Toy Story Mania is a surprisingly great ride. It's so much fun and challenging. More game than ride. But the theming inside is amazing. Of course Galaxy s Edge is incredible. Rise I'd the Resistance is worth the wait. The Millennium Falcon ride is fun but way too short. Interestingly, Star Tours has been updated and is a slightly different experience each time.

  • 4/5 Essence C. 4 months ago on Google
Attended Jollywood Night party activities. Less wait for rides at night time under 30 minutes for a wait with some you can walk right on. We got on everything we wanted. Didn't ride Star Wars, though. That was way too long to wait. We would have missed the holiday shows and other party stuff if we did.

Overall I love this park and the new Star Wars theme is absolutely out of this world. You completely feel immersed in this area and literally feels like your are on a different planet. The storm troopers are extremely realistic and very convincing. Stay to watch one of the guard changes - It’s worth the wait! I only wish we had more time to walk around the village to really appreciate the details of this world.

I rode the Tower of Terror for the first time. It was not as bad as I made it up to be. Very fun. The rest of the park is very nice and greatly themed. Starwars land is awesome and looks like a different planet.

I have the BEST interactions with cast members at this park! Everyone is super friendly and always going the extra mile to make my day magical. There's a very diverse range of restaurants, and I've never had an issue doing walk-up for a table service restaurant. The rides are incredible and the shows are spectacular! Be sure to check out the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! It does not disappoint! Riding the big rides (like Tower of Terror and Rise of the Resistance) later in the evening is the way to go as most people have park-hopped or already rope-dropped those big rides! I've gotten in and out of Rise of the Resistance in under 30 minutes by getting in line an hour before the park closes! The parking lot is very close to the park entrance which is a relief after a long day of walking in the park!

It was ok. Been here before but if you want to get on the rise if the resistance forget it. Tried both times but its a lottery on your phone. Doesn't matter if you arrive early or if you're willing to wait in lines you cant get on. Super annoying. The other rides were ok. The rocken roller coaster and tower of terror are still good along with the smugglers run. Slink dog was ok.

This park was really cool. Out of all of the Disney World Parks, this was our favorite. Toy story land is awesome and the slinky ride is a must. The Tower of Terror was my favorite and the Rock and Roller was my son's favorite. Most shows were shut down and we weren't able to get on any of the star wars rides which was disappointing but if we wanted to visit any Disney World Park again, this would be it.

Was there Friday, Jan. 15, 2021. Had a great time! Yes, there were crowds, but the cast members did an awesome job of keeping lines safe and socially distanced. All in all, the Disney magic is there, just with a few Covid restrictions.

In my opinion this is currently the best park at Disney. Toy story land and Star Wars is the perfect fit for my family. My kids were 7 and 8 when we went and they got on all the rides and loved it. Be ready to spend some money if you are a fan as they have some great merch. My suggestion is to save a day at Disney springs where you can get most of you items. Save the large items for the park like the saber.

What a great park! We have been spoiled on California adventure park in Anaheim since it opened but this park was great.

So much fun. The Star Wars experience was outstanding. The only downside is that it is so hard to get into Rise of the Resistance. If you can get in do it! It is probably the most advanced ride in the entire park, and was an amazing experience. I definitely recommend it. The colored milk is unusual, and is not for everyone. Stay after dark, and enjoy the colors - especially the different colors of lightsabers.

My family and friends (9) visited for the first time and it was a nice time, I went to buy our pictures we took throughout the day and waited in line to go into the store. After being told by the crew member to wait, we did. For about 10 minutes later a woman walked in and received some "first visit" buttons and left, then another family walked up and was invited in by the crew member. I watched and then asked the crew member, "sir, why are we still waiting and you allowed that family ahead of us" he said "oh" and shrugged his shoulders. I said not cool sir, he said you are welcome to come in now if you'd like. Thos was now 25 minutes later. I said,no. Now I will gl to guest relations. I proceeded next door to guest relations and explained what happened, only to hear "it must have been a miscommunication" My family and I visit all the parks often and never have I had to encounter this type of situation. Very poor customer service! Especially for Disney. Just terrible and it's sad 😞

Awesome! I would NOT recommend going until Covid clears... to insure public safety the roaming actors have been deleted as well as most of the filler stuff like balloons and food carts. One other real issue that I had, so to build your own light saber you have to make a reservation and those reservations fill fairy quickly. There was also a lot of a new space in Galaxy's edge they could have easily set up another build your own light saber shop since so many people were being turned away from that attraction. Even with the restricted number of guests allowed in the park I couldn't get in to give them $200 of my money to build my own lightsaber. It was a great time and I would definitely go again but I would recommend to anyone to wait till after covied has cleared up or we've at least figured something out to where all the character actors are in the park and you get the full experience.

The park was well made and it was a lot of fun. Great time for adults and especially children. Parking in Disney parks should be numbered though.

Auwfull experience! Wearing masks outside all day long! No exceptions for kids! Workers are like cops or overseers constantly watching you not letting to take photos without mask. You can not even drink in lines as they ask you to step away. Oh, and that virtual line..... it is a scam! Don’t be surprised if you will never get to the Rise of the Resistance! Stay away from disney’s until covid is over!

Was super fun and Covid friendly with the sanitizer everywhere. It was disappointing that there were virtual Queues for some of the attractions though. I wish I had signed up for those the day before!

Truly Stellar. My first time at Disney will be a very memorable one. Although the COVID restrictions were a pain sometimes, the experience and ambiance made up for it. There were some bad cast members but also some absolutely magnificent ones. They said and did the little things that make Disney, “Disney!” The best ride was hands down rise of the resistance. SPECIAL NOTE: Do the spot reservation on the online que at 7am and 1pm both! Our group could not get into the ride at the morning time but got a spot at 1! Overall, the experience is great, especially with kids. Don’t be deterred by miffed park-goers or employees, just enjoy it! The number one thing is, “Disney is what you make of it, so make it great!”
