It was our first visit to the place and I loved it! I liked the nautical-themed interior of the restaurant; the value for money was great, a good selection of meat and fish dishes on the menu (no vegetarian options), hearty portions, well-cooked food. Service was courteous, no problems there. The staff speak Portuguese, but it won't make communication a problem.

A nice looking restaurant which is much bigger than it seems from the outside. Neat and clean with prompt service. A good selection on the menu. We opted for the lunch time special menu which offers a drink, bread and olives, a main course, dessert and a coffee for a very good price which varies slightly depending on the main course selected. The food was delicious. There were three of us and all of us enjoyed the meal. The toilets are clean but nothing special. The bill was a sheer pleasure. We will all be visiting again. This was a first but by no means a last visit.

Von außen sehr unscheinbar, innen sehr geräumig, Tische sind Corona mäßig aufgestellt, obwohl die Speisekarte relativ klein ist, kann jeder etwas finden. Wir empfanden dies als ausreichend und sehr angenehm. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar, alle Hauptgerichte zwischen ca. 6 und 10 Euro. Wir hatten Lachs und Dorade, beides hervorragend. Ein Dessert war inklusive, große Auswahl an Desserts Der Service war sehr bemüht, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wer Portugiesisch essen gehen will, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Klare Empfehlung!

Really enjoyed this quirky, value for money restaurant in heart of Castelo Branco. The tongue and liver were excellent - very well cooked and with delicious sauces. Friendly staff and good house wine, and a total of €32 for 3 of us.
