Upon arriving we were thrilled to see the view from the dining area. The service was quick and we were soon sat with a lovely backdrop for our Maccy D’s. I was disappointed to find they’d given me ketchup instead of BBQ sauce as ordered but thanks to the BBQ sauce tap all was fine. On a separate note the bins were full but that could be due to the costa coffee next door and staff not doing much

Classic McDonald's, all good. I wish there were more meal options apart from usual fastfood...stunning views from the sitting area indoors and outdoors. Nice break on a long journey with the dogs..

Stopped for McDonald's at the services in storm Franklin, very wet and cold. Service was quick from the touch screens, food hot. Diet coke tasted wrong but we didn't complain. Lovely view whilst eating our lunch. Would visit again

Everything looks fine but please avoid drinks as the quantity is less than half, ordered a medium coffee but got only less than half. Pretty much same for coke as well.

Nice and clean toailet, customer service is good. Outside of the building is nice place to eat whit great view. If is raining it's possible eat inside whit also great view by wall glass. :) Thank You

This is one of the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been. The food is always cooked fresh and the chips is how they should be. Definitely recommend this restaurant. I am driving from Kendal as the one in town is rubbish. Well done guys! Keep up the good job.

Terrible coffee. Half empty cup. Then replaced and taste as if 1 cup been diluted with extra water to make 2 cups. Can't even drink it. Asked for a cup of water and got some coffee sachets instead from hotel next door

Tebay is good but I actually prefer this stop. A bit smaller, quicker to get in and out of, great view of the lake and generally less hassle. If I'm on a journey, I want to make progress, not go shopping.

Impolite staff, food was disappointing, and my Galaxy hot chocolate came with a free false eyelash floating in it.

We were travelling from Scotland to England , we visited this services late afternoon. Very scenic place, food was as usual standard taste. Plenty of seating and parking here. I must recommend to visit here as you can enjoy nice scenic view over the lunch or snack. Staffs were friendly and service was quick. We used app to order food, it’s very simple and delivery was as quick as usual

Again no frappes or milkshakes available... Travelling around the north of UK for work I visit numerous branches and they all have this issue I notice between late morning and mid afternoon. Frustrating when it's been sunnier climates of late.

Really good service it was busy but never had to wait long for my order I don't mind waiting if it's busy had to wait for maybe 5-6min so it was nothing really Food hot

Everything was great the food was spectacular the service was great we realised we only had cash not card because we used the ordering screen and it was card only so we went up to a worker and asked what should do, the worker told us we could print out a receipt and pay at the front, and it was solved. The atmosphere was beautiful, nice and it was so clean if I could... I would eat there all the time

Food is average. Cleaner's service was very good. Atmosphere is the main thing that made us go there twice. Good view of the lake.

Worse experience ever with mcd. I asked for tissues no one listened. And the food served was not warm I ordered eat in amd the give me in a bag nd no napkin added in it. Then after eat in ordered take wrap te didn’t even put it in a bag to take away really bad service i hate this mcd 😤

Food amazing, no issues there. Not that there were issues, but I felt a bit too open given that it's on the services list. Milk shake was great and given all that 5 stars, as that is not their issue.

Standard mcdonalds. Food was alright. I don't often eat it. However, this service station is so limited for food outlets that it doesn't leave much choice when hunger strikes.

Good, adequate hotel for short stay. Good rooms, comfy bed, excellent toiletries. Service chaotic, long wait at bar, ran out of several basics, food adequate - Good breakfast, evening meal needs improvement.

Beautifull scenery from the services, would definately drop in again

Called here on New Year's Eve out of necessity rather than choice but the kids always enjoy a McDonalds. A small but pleasant indoor seating area and I expect it has a good view of the lake but it was dark at the time. A drink was missing but easily rectified. The service was basic and the food was what you'd expect.

Poor 'service', staff were just, just, OK but it isn't Customer Service, food is just off, what seems like, a conveyor belt... Costa was little better but you do get to order from and be served, in part, by a person, a surly person but a person nonetheless. The common seating/tables felt like a 'feeding trough' and wasn't that clean either, the tidy-it-yourself is fine but the bins were full... I really don't mind the do-it-yourself cafe model but it isn't Customer Service and at over £20.00 for 2 teas, 2 sandwiches and 2 small plastic containers of water melon from the Costa outlet it isn't Value-For-Money. If it gets any less (can it?) of an enjoyable experience then it will be bring-your-own in future as there seems no point in this McDonald's/Costa at Killington Lake Services (M6 South).

Firstly it's set in a service station that has one of the most beautiful back drops whilst your eating. Food was Luke warm, burgers looked like they are thrown together and then shaken around the box. Staff don't read the custom requests on burgers like no cheese or mustard and are stand offish when you go back to swap the burgers for a correct order. It's clean just needs to work on customer service.

Worst McDonald's ive ever visited, waited 23 minutes for a wrongly made cheeseburger. Wasted my time should've not bothered

Best views from a McDonald's ever! We stopped here while traveling south and was amazed by the views. Typical McDonald's in all fairness, use the touchscreens to make your order and wait for your number to be called. They have segregated waiting places to comply with covid regulations etc. Once we picked our order up we chose to sit outside and look at the views, which were a bit more exciting than the M6.

OK, so the food tastes good, but the Grande Big Mac was a mess and looked thrown together, once reassembled to look like a big mac it tasted fine. Spicy Chicken Legend was the same but was just some chicken and a dribble of sauce, I've not had a chicken legend before but I'm sure there should have been at least some lettuce in there. Can't really get the Coke Zero wrong.. Biggest disappointment was the large fries (see photo) this was it, none had fallen out in to the bag, just a half full carton, definitely not a large fries. Also please put a couple of napkins in the bag.
