My class found Panka while we were studying abroad. We knew little Spanish but Georgette and Briegel welcomed us with open arms. The food is incredible and the family atmosphere is priceless. They made us traditional Louisiana jambalaya and even threw us a going away party! We were so grateful ❤️ While money can buy food, nothing can compare to the feeling of family in a foreign country. Ps: I recommend the chicken empanada and the Neutella shake

This guy is incredible, he makes the empanadas fresh after ordering. A lot of flavour, crunchy and (important for the kids) not too spicy. We had chicken, lamb and pork stew (pibil). It was perfect! All served with fresh sauces.

I stayed in Salamanca for 2 months and this was my favorite place to go! The owners are incredibly nice and I had a great time speaking to them. The cookies are absolutely phenomenal, and the empanadas are amazing! The outside tables are perfect for relaxing, and it’s next to a spot that usually has live music.

Really good food for a quick bit. I recommend the cheese option, it combines nice with the corn dough. The service was great and fast also. It is fried so prepare your heart. You can even enjoy a nice view of the plaza if you seat outside.

The empinadas and cakes are fantastic... very generous portions too... the plate shows what we thought of the amazing cinemon bun!!!

Having to travel multiple times around the world and tried so many empanadas, I can honestly say Panka’s empanadas are the best I’ve ever had. From crunch, to (generous) filling, to the sauces — these empanadas were crafted to perfection. Definitely a must try.

This man knows how to pour a perfect pint, pulls a great cappuccino, and makes killer empanadas! Highly recommended.
