I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I booked a private room and the room was very comfortable. The only downside is there was a pole in the way of the two twin beds so they could not be put together. The hostel was not as social as I had hoped. Most people in the common area were on their computers with headphones in. Also there is a bar area but I does not appear to be open or used anymore. It does have a rooftop but there was no furniture or lights. I'm not sure if it was closed down for the season or what was going on.

The location of the hostel is really amazing, a 2 minute walk from the plaza and a Tram station which is very useful to connect to other parts of the city. The rooms are clean and adequately sized. The girls bathroom could do with some more lighting as it was pretty dim and dark inside. Overall a good place, with different activities like bar hopping, family dinners and flamenco shows planned in the evenings.

Very good! Perfect spot in the heart of the old town surrounded by architectural beauty and old-world charm. Friendly and accommodating staff keep the place impeccable. Just one tiny detail: Some minor improvements could be made to the ventilation and lighting in the rooms. Curtains of course, would be heavenly!

This hostel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in terms of cleanliness, location, quality of recommendations, and most importantly, price. I booked online just for 2 nights to test it out but ended up extending, and you can get a cheaper rate if you book directly with the receptionist. They offer cool activities (some are free) which is also nice. No complaints about toilet & showers, and you can leave your luggage after checkout. Well kept hostel, I highly recommend 👍

Lots of noise. Better bring earplugs or use headphones if you want to sleep. Noise coming from drunk people in the street at all hours, people in the hostel partying, and the beds being so close together in the rooms. Facilities are clean and they offer cool activities but nothing is worse than not being able to sleep or being woken up early because of so much noise

Best place if you want to stay close to the center of Sevilla. Nevertheless, The rooms are so close and so small you can hear a pin if dropped anywhere in those rooms. I don't advise you to take the upper bed because it's so high it feels like traveling going up and down from it. So you eventually give up moving in and from it until when you want to go out. The service is good 👍

I had a nice experience, the bed was good I slept well all night! Its safe and clean I was in the ground floor the room was clean and well ventilated, the receptionists were very helpful and there was a Paella night where everyone could experience the preparation and eat for only 5€, including Sangria! the hostel is very well located, I recommend it

Overall a very average stay, rooms and facilities were adequate but did not meet what was advertised. Decently sized rooms with plenty of space, but were not well cleaned (garbage from previous guests, mold on bed frames, stained beds etc,). Hostel was lacking in facilities and atmosphere - common spaces were typically taken over by staff/volunteers who were cold and uninviting towards guests. Many services advertised were not offered - pub crawls cancelled, no breakfast (was mentioned on site, “free dinners” were just a small bowl of french fries. Paella workshop was a fun experience however. If you’re just expecting a decent bad and sufficient space you will get just that.

I booked the private room on the third floor and it was amazing. The design was very pretty, the room was big and with good lighting. Maybe the air conditioning wasn’t working as well as it could. The people working there are always kind and willing to help and at night time there’s always an organised event, which made socialisation with the other people sleeping there much easier. The position is also good and the price affordable.

I had a great time for the 3 days I was in Sevilla!! From the moment I entered the hostel, I could feel the vibe is great! Made some good friends - from volunteers to roommates to others staying in the hostel. Their free dinners (4 days) and paella-sangria nights (3 days for €5) are a great was of socializing! Plus the layout of the hostel is such that it enhances socializing! Good price, very clean, great location, good common area! Will recommend everyone :)

it was okay, it has a kitchen with stoves and a big common area, but doors wouldn't close in the showers and the lockers in the room were damaged.

Very modern and accessible. Friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. They say breakfast is included but it's just coffee and cereal and that's it. Extremely clean and lots of activities and events hosted and promoted by the hostel. Very enjoyable stay.

I am so overwhelmed. The hostel has beautifully furnished and clean rooms. The kitchen has all the utensils for cooking, as well as a fridge for your own food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. And the activities such as the family dinner are great for getting to know each other. The hostel is centrally located. I wild love to come back at any time!!!

We had a great stay at the black swan hostel. It was really fun, the atmosphere there is amazing. The staff and volunteer will do everything to help you and make your stay enjoyable. Alberto is such a lovely guy, always ready to help and going the extra mile for you. If you're Sevilla and looking for a great place to stay, this is the one.

It's a decent hostel for little money. The rooms are really spacious and so are the compartments so you can store even large pieces of luggage. They're pretty clean, too. The beds, including the ladders, are very stable and quiet (and so is the door) and there are shelves next to every bed and enough hooks to hang your stuff. The family dinner portions are rather small but it's free food and the hostel's right in the center of Sevilla so you can go out for dessert easily ;) I didn't like that they have bedsheets with a bare blanket instead of a duvet in a duvet cover, which I think would be more hygienic in hotels and hostels. The shower stalls are really small so you have to dry and get dressed outside unless you want your towel to touch every inch of every wall, and if you hang anything in the shower it will get wet. The ventilation in the bathrooms doesn't work properly so they are always extremely hot and humid in the evening, worsened by the fact that the toilets are in the same room. The shower heads are mounted to the walls, too. Still, all in all it's alright. 8/10

If you want to have fun, meet new people and stay in a cool place, this is the perfect hostel! They organize events, such as dinner nights, flamenco show night and pub crawl! The stuff is very friendly and the volunteers too!! Had a great time! Special thanks to Mercedes!

I spent several days in Sevilla and I couldn't have found a better hostel than this one! The big living room allows you to easily make connection with other guests. This is what I'm looking for in a hostel. The volunteers are amazing! Thanks Nahuel for the great moments! 👌

I had a bread time in black swan, the rooms were tidy, the bath okay and the vibe was overall quite social. I had more in other Hostels but there is a bread common area and daily activities, so you find yourself easily chatting with ppl from around the world or find a spot to stay on you own.

This was the most amazing hostel! The staff are welcoming and super helpful! Àgata who works at The Black Swan is such a kind, warm and friendly person. I loved chatting to her. She definitely made my stay! The hostel and bathrooms are very clean and the rooms are great! It is perfect for solo travellers as they have family dinners, cooking classes, pub crawls and more! I met people from all over the world. It was one of the best hostels I have stayed at! Highly highly recommend! The room is so perfect, lots of space and big windows they give beautiful light!

I stayed at a fantastic hostel during my recent trip and the highlight of my stay was definitely Alberto who works at the hostel. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and ensure that my stay was comfortable. The hostel itself was clean, modern, and had everything I needed including comfortable beds and a good location. But what really made my stay special was the warm hospitality provided by Alberto. He was always happy to help out with anything I needed, from recommending local attractions to providing insider tips on the best places to eat.

I stayed here for six nights while in Sevilla and had a great experience. It’s in a good location with a social atmosphere. Shout-out to Ted, who was helpful with any questions. All around, the staff were fantastic. I do wish the common room was open later than 12 am.

  • 5/5 Keegan 9 months ago on Google
Great atmosphere with lots of events on and organisation. The kitchen was useful and it had a nice social area. The staff were super friendly, A staff member named Tina answered all my questions when I arrived and was very helpful. The only improvement would be privacy curtains and a better laid out kitchen as the single sink area gets busy.

Agata is the best chef I've ever encountered and I am counting my blessings to have experienced her cooking in a hostel of all places. Her French home cooking made me feel like I was back in my Mom's kitchen, and I am from New Jersey. Enjoying a meal prepared by Agata, whose poise, beauty, and good nature nearly rival her culinary expertise, makes me hope that one day I can settle down with a lovely French woman on a beach in Normandy.

Amazing vibes. Clean, cheap, everything you’d expect from a hostel and more. Very worth the price, central location. Free shows and dinner. Mercedes who works there, was amazing and made us great food. Highly recommend!!

My whole experience in Seville was amazing but it helped so much that the people at the Black Swan were very kind and accommodating! They answered any and all questions while also offering advice at the same time. When we checked out, they let us hold our luggage for an extra few hours before our next flight. I would highly recommend for anyone travel long and using hostels!

Great staff, all very motivated and fun volunteers. I loved the activities that were organized (family dinners, simple cooking classes). Facilities were a bit basic, the beds were not very comfortable (thin mattress on a plank instead of a regular bed frame and the bathrooms were clean-ish. Airconditioning in the rooms worked very well. If you value the community/fun more, then definitely go to this hostel!

They are a hostel with some suites upstairs and they don't seem to pick a personality on each. Location is perfect and the staff was friendly. Their website said there was free breakfast, but it seems it was outdated as it does not. Room as clean, bathroom was clean. Twin room can't get the beds together because there is a column between them. And my biggest criticism is that there is no way to stay in the dark when the sun is up because the curtain lets a lot of light in. I'd expected it to be very noisy and it wasn't. I would repeat.

Eliseo was the young man working the reception desk when I checked in. He made me feel welcomed and comfortable upon arrival. Telling me about the social events scheduled at the hostel and recommended places and sights to see. And when my summer slacks got a tear in them, he immediately took out a sewing kit for repairing the slacks. Great employee and representative of the hostel and the country.

This hostel is the best one which I stay. It is very close to landmarks of the city and you can just walk to everywhere. Rooms and toilets were very clean and they have a free breakfast in the morning and you can use the kitchen any time and it is constantly being cleaned. Apart from that you have the opportunity to meet very nice people in the common areas. You can participate in free city tours 3 times a day. Some nights you can go to the flamenco show. I had a really lovely holiday and met new people. It was very good experience for me. Thank you very much

Great spot to stay. Mostly young people, so it can be a bit loud. Very clean! The 3€ towels were so so so small... so I suggest bringing your own. The free breakfast was simply cereal and orange juice. And the free dinners were unique and homemade!

  • 5/5 Frances A. 4 years ago on Google
Friendly atmosphere, cool lay out, manages to give you privacy in a shared space, nice AC in the HOT summer, will definitely return!!! Free breakfast is just cereal, orange juice, and muffin. There is free dinner offered four days of the week which is really nice. The staff know the area and are very nice. Nice views from every window. This hostel is not like any other. I couldn’t recommend it any more to a weary traveler.

Do not respond on a calls and email address, I have a booking and now I don't know what to do. My booking is from the end of September so I think it's just a waste of money, going to call booking service.

I really had a great stay at this hostel!  The location is right in the city centre, staff was super welcoming and ready to help you for whatever you might neeed for . Rooms and amenities are perfect, big plus to the rooftop terrace , with such a nice view of the city and  it's the perfect place to meet and socialize with the other travellers. There are also a lot of activities planned per day so that there's always something to do yet you can get a good night sleep as well. I'd definetely recommend this hostel and will come back in the future!

추천하지 않습니다. 전체적으로 너무 별로였어요 The bedding was just a thin blanket, so I didn't feel comfortable sleeping. The towel is 3 euros, but I asked to change the towel once during my three-day stay, but I've never seen a case where I asked to pay again. In some cases, the card key didn't work well, so I had to go to the reception and register again, and it was a pity that there were no curtains on the bed. I checked out a day earlier than scheduled, but a patient suspected of COVID-19 coughed too much every night in the room to stay. And you don't disinfect your room at all. That's why I evaluated it like that.

  • 1/5 Raven B. 2 years ago on Google
I never even stayed there and they charged my card FOR THE FULL STAY, if you need money for your bills just say that. let me know upfront when I'm doing charity work and I'll do it but don't take money from my account just because. not cool. 0/10 my rate wasn’t a non-refundable rate. You could’ve 10000% refunded me and chose to take my money instead.

I had a great three night stay! The location is great, walking distance from all the main attractions. When I arrived they had a group dinner which was cooked by Sandy and it was delicious and a great way to socialize and get to know others. The bathrooms were clean and modern, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

This place is awesome! The hostel offers multiple activities like free dinner and free flamenco show. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The people at the front desk are fantastic and overall there is a great vibe in the hostel. When we come back to Sevilla we will definitely stay there again!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed! A very convenient location! I almost walked everywhere! Vibrant kitchen and common area, friendly atmosphere, large kitchen with stoves, utensils, fridge, a very nice rooftop! Cool activities like free dinner, paella cooking and flamenco show! Large lockers, comfortable beds, large and useful bathroom, the wifi connection around could be better, especially in the rooms, and maybe curtains could be added for the beds. They also have private rooms for families etc. I’d definitely choose to stay here again in Seville!

The hostel is really amazing. Location wise, cleanliness wise and the best part is the whole vibe here. The hostel organizes an activity each day for youths to have chance to interact. The day I stayed, they has free dinner. As I was traveling solo, I had the chance to interact with so many amazing people.

A very friendly and inviting place with a good vibe to it. Staff and folks there are nice in general. It has a very good design and common areas as well as the roof top. Within a day of being there I managed to meet a social group and went out for a fun night of drinking there. The only complaints I have are the lack of AC and the fact that they don’t have curtains in every room. It would be nice to have a bit of privacy in every room and probably wouldn’t cost the hostal much. However, other than those two little things, I loved the place! I look forward to my next stay here.

  • 4/5 Eden L. 1 year ago on Google
The hostel itself is okay. Beds are sturdy and big, but no curtains and mattress isn’t really comfortable. The place is pretty clean, and the staff were quite helpful. It’s a great place to meet people (dinners and free flamenco shows etc) my biggest issue was probably the terrible wifi (see: very unreliable and barely works) but overall it’s a good hostel in a great location

My first hostel experience: a dream! The team around Santiago, Lali, Nico, Emily and Luisa (? - New Zealand) is so helpful, good-humored and just welcoming. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The lockers under the bed are incredibly spacious, so you still have room to spread out despite your backpack. The hostel organizes evenings, where you can get into popular (beach proximity I do not recommend so) clubs free of charge and without queuing. The showers are uncharacteristically stylish and produce a wide water rainfall. The only thing is the A/C - they are set very cold for the night, so you should dress warmly. Breakfast (still included in the running text at Hostelworld) is no longer available. The paella live show costs 8€ (chicken version) or 10€ (seafood). I was in a girls room for 3 nights and felt super comfortable! Also, despite being booked out, a solution was found for me on the way back (overnight in Barcelona), for which I am incredibly grateful to the team! Please keep up the good work so that I know next year where I should come ;)

Good morning 😁🌳🌎 I stayed one week in this amazing hostel. I really like the atmosphere of huge open kitchen space, lightful and all service people around me gave her best to feel me comfortable and well 😊 I enjoyed the regularly family dinners and cooking experiences and more like dance offer for all where the hostel staff was cooking for all inclusive vegetarian, and all the times over the day the staff were cleaning the kitchen and the bathrooms. The rooms are spacious and very clean and stable beds with lamp and sockets and in our room a on bathroom with a amazing raining shower function 😁 Air conditioning was really nice in our room Everything is clean and works well and really cool the try to be in ecogical way like food is leaved store them for other guests etc. So yes I want say Thanks a lot for all this dialogs and support and kindness people of Black Swan especially From the reception Roberta, Kemal, Loi, Fardeen Paqui, Salvia, Anais... And all volunteers like Rada, Alberto, Daniel and a lot more 😁👍😁👍 Good times for all the people work in this hostel Leo 😊

I am amazed by how perfect a hostel can be. They know exactly what a backpacker needs. High hygienic standard, beds were you have your private space, enough for all your stuff, well equipped kitchen and wonderful community areas. The terrace is a dream. They totally live the values of a hostel were people from around the world come together. I felt as if the staff is part of the hostel "family", they keep it clean and functioning while having a great time with you. On top of this the interior design is really modern and cool but cozy and they are aware of the environment, separating the trash and avoiding wasting water. One of the best hostels I've ever been to!

Very convenient location, close to most amenities and major tourist spots/attractions. The atmosphere is really friendly and open, as is the staff. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean although, being top bunk can be a little inconvenient. However, we still had an amazing experience overall, there's lots of organized activities and everyone was outgoing and involved.

Really nice and modern hostel! We met a lot of incredible people there and the whole team was really friendly. We joined the pub crawl with Edoardo and had an amazing time. Insider tip: If you make the DJ play ABBA, he will invite you on a beer. Try it, I promise it works!
