Can we appreciate this hostel for a moment? This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. You will always have a great night because the beds are great, they have AC in the room, it's spacious and quiet. The crew working there is so friendly and kind. Love the activities that they have, which is a great way to get to know other people. From their rooftop you can enjoy a view of the cathedral with some music in the background. The cocktails are great and atmosphere makes you feel at home. I would just come back to Sevilla just to stay in this hostel again. 10/10! 💛

This was the best hostel experience I've ever had! The rooms are clean and comfortable (the 4 bedroom ones are quite a bit better than the 8 bedroom ones though). The location is good and close to all major tourist spots. But more importantly, the events and the dinners on the rooftop provide a great opportunity to connect with some amazing people! The staff is very friendly and always there to help. I would certainly like to be back some day!

I have nothing but good things to say about this hostel. As a single female traveler, I felt safe and at home here. The staff is amazing, and there’s someone at the desk 24/7. Special shout-out to Darcy for his kindness, humor and welcoming nature, you’re the best! The rooftop makes the whole place feel genuinely like you’re in a villa with your best mates. Full of laughter, good vibes and friendship. Plus it was well maintained, clean and in a great location. I miss it already!

I never write reviews even on places that I had great times at because frankly, I'm lazy. But La Banda was something extraordinary. The absolute best hostel I've been to thus far and for good reason - the atmosphere, the staff, the people and the location are all quite rare and you'd be missing out if you don't choose La Banda. It will truly elevate the already amazing experience you'll have from visiting Seville.

La Banda is a great hostel near a lot of cafes and restaurants in Madrid. If you ever get the chance, definitely go here for New Years, which is a really fun experience. The staff is really friendly and really knowledgable about events going on in the city.

Literally the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Consistently clean, comfortable beds with curtains, welcoming staff, and unbeatable location less than a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

I never leave reviews, but I felt compelled too after the amazing experience I just had here. If you want to stay in the heart of Sevilla, surrounded by amazing folks, and a world class staff then you should stay here. The facilities look brand new and the cleaners do an amazing job keeping everything organized and clean. It’s also hard to beat the views from the rooftop, particularly given the fact that bars with similar views cost about two to three times more on average than La Banda does (plus, the bartenders here not only make great drinks but are extremely friendly and eager to engage in conversation). The front desk staff and managers also provided unparalleled recommendations when it comes to the best restaurants, day trips, museums, and how to navigate the region more generally. I was originally supposed to only stay three days and it turned into almost two weeks because I had such an amazing time, not only at the hostel, but Sevilla in general. I cannot praise La Banda highly enough and am extremely grateful for the amazing memories; looking forward to visiting again soon.

The beds were cozy and the other travelers were friendly, but it wasn’t overall as nice as I expected from the reviews given the steep price. They advertise events on their website that didn’t happen (pub crawls, club outings) that are some of the reasons I booked the hostel. There wasn’t that much happening I felt. Also the bathrooms were only cleaned once a day and it was one tiny bathroom for 8 people which got gross and ran out of supplies quickly, which is worse than some comparable hostels I’ve been to in Spain.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world and can safely say this is one of the best hostels around. The vibe is amazing and it really has that ‘hostel family’ atmosphere. The place is super clean, air con is great, location perfect and the staff are amazing. Particular shout out to Federico, Nico and Alvaro for being awesome and making this place feel like home away from home. Keep doing what you are doing!

Super cool hostel. Easy to meet people, the staff are amazing. They prepare activities and dinner every night. Super clean and very near to the cathedral of Seville! I will be back guys... Thanks for everything

Awesome location, just in the middle of everything. Short walking distance to all the monuments in Sevilla. Very nice view of the cathedral from the rooftop. The dinner served every day for free is fantastic. Great team. Definitely one of the best Hostels I’ve stayed in ever.

This hostel is the best for meeting awesome people especially if you are solo traveling. There are events happening everyday at the hostel’s beautiful rooftop. One day it’s bachata classes, next it’s live music or vintage market, they keep things fun and intimate. The location is absolutely unbeatable! Would definitely stay again!

This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed at. The general vibe is friendly and open, and they do a good job at organizing events so the guests can feel welcomed. This is a great place to meet people. The hostel is not too big or too small, It’s the perfect size. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooftop bar is the icing on the cake.

This was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at (and I’ve been in over 15). The staff was amazing-everyone was super friendly, dedicated and ready to help. The amenities were awesome as well: the bed was super comfortable (no noises every time you roll over) and the common spaces were incredibly comfortable to chill and/or meet new people. The social aspect of the hostel was beyond words, I’m really gonna miss the people I met and the fun nights out we shared. Last but not least, the location of the hostel was perfect. You’ll be very close to all historical sights and main attractions, and if you’re coming from the airport, the EA leaves you just 3 blocks away!

Super friendly staff and overall great atmosphere! Loads of recommendations and booking capabilities for sightseeing directly from the hostel. There is a hostel dinner every evening which is nice because you get to meet fellow travelers. Also every day there is a different activity planned. Rooms are cleaned daily, bathrooms too. There is AC in the rooms. Loved my time there, will definitely go back when I return to Sevilla!

La Banda Hostel has such a great vibe! So many friendly travelers and every single staff member is amazing! Location was spectacular and there was always something happening at the hostel. Must visit!

Travelled solo and stayed here for almost a week and had the most amazing time! The staff and volunteers were so incredibly friendly and they really made me feel like I was at home as soon as I walked in (thank you Alvaro especially!). They also gave me great suggestions so that I could make the most of the city. The rooftop is the best place to meet other travellers, day or night, and I made some really great friendships here. I absolutely loved having evening drinks and the family dinner (which was always super tasty) staying up all night chatting with others and Nico, the bartender! Nico is a truly talented individual in every sense, a gifted musician with eclectic music taste who does live music nights on the rooftop, who can talk to anybody about anything. The nights out he organised were always so fun. I really hope to be back soon! The best place to stay in Seville for sure.

One of the Best Hostel I ever been after to travel 9 countries. From the great & so kind Stuff (Álvaro, Daniel, Jorge, Francesca) to the pretty as clean rooms, adding the beautiful atmosphere of the hostel, make me wanna go back again to enjoy Sevilla again & again. They make you feel good as confortable sharing time in the rooftop with different activities & guiding in any doubts or questions you have about any place or service. Even not being a guess I would like to travel with a great group like that. Gente la mejor!!!!!!! Éxitos😁✌️

Super lovely hostel! I stayed in a mixed dorm with 10 people and the room was really clean. The vibe in the hostel is very nice. The rooftop is a good place to have drinks in the evening. The hostel could organise some more activities to make it easier to connect with others, but if you're a social person you'll be fine at the rooftop!

  • 5/5 Alberto B. 10 months ago on Google
First of all, I really liked that the hostel was so close to Downtown Seville. Second, I found that, despite being a little tight with space, the hostel had comfortable beds and everyone seemed to get along with each other. I really liked how the hostel staff promoted a sense of camaraderie and it felt as though the hostel staff were even guests. Evenings at the rooftop were my favorite because not only did we have dinner with a nice view, we also socialized with everyone. I want to send a shoutout to Nico who, not only kept us entertained with his music and antics, he also made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. I would definitely book my hostel should I go back to Seville in the (hopefully) near future.

La Banda is the best place I stayed in Spain! The rooms and kitchen were great but the rooftop really made it! Free sangria followed by happy hour made it really easy to make friends, everyone I met was also solo travelling! All the staff were really lovely, making sure everyone was having a good time! Darren made the best cocktails and was encouraging everyone to have fun and make friends in evenings🍹

Amazing located and wonderful hostel. Staff is friendly and nice. They offer a wide scale of events and the roof top terrace is a great place to hang around.

Had such an excellent experience here! Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The main attraction was definitely the rooftop bar and gatherings. There was such a lovely and relaxing atmosphere created that it was so easy to meet new people and made some great friends here. Highly, highly recommend!

La Banda is the place to stay in Sevilla! The warm staff really make you feel at home and they're always happy to help you with tips about Sevilla. There are good places at the hostel to work online if you need it. There are walking tours, live music and evening tapas at their beautiful rooftop that provides a truely Spanish experience! Thank you guys for everything! I'll be back soon.

I've stayed at La Banda for 5 nights and I wish I could have stayed longer! The hostel itself is very cute and well kept but the best of it is its staff who is super friendly, happy, and always happy to help and accommodate any request you might have! They organise something basically every night for the guests (paella night, live music, sangria and more) and are full of recommendations on things to do / see in the city. The hostel was recommended to me by a friend who stayed and once I was there I understood why. I remained in contact with the staff and people I met and I would definitively stay here again should I go back to Seville.

Can't think of any better place in Sevilla! Very familial and happy atmosphere with best live music and drinks in town on the rooftop. Not to forget the amazing staff l! Thanks Victor, Chiara and lovely rest 💘

I spent six nights here in November and had a very good time. The staff are very helpful and work hard to organise events and maintain the social atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean and the showers always had hot water and good pressure. I should not leave out the best bit; the rooftop! It is a lovely space to relax. Either in the day when you can enjoy the sun, or at night there was always a good social atmosphere. I really liked the long benches as they make it much less initmidating to approach people and help everyone to meet each other. All in all, you should go here if you are staying in Sevilla!

Very nice hostel. Beds are a bit small but the hostels atmosphere is amazing. Also very nice to meet new people to go out with when travelling alone. Can definitely recommend!

My tour through Andalusia started with 4 nights at La Banda and immediately felt at home by the welcome of the La Banda family. This hostel exceeded all my expectations! A free drink during checkin, solid beds, comfy mattresses and daily activities. The team is so lovely and they're putting a lot of effort to make everyone feel good and comfortable. They have a lot of social activities and, especially as a solo traveller is very easy to connect with other people. I met friends that I will now call family for life. The location, the rooftop, the amazing chefs and creative souls. All make this place an absolute magical vibe for a true home away from home. After my stay and visiting other places and hostels I decided to go back to La Banda for 5 more nights at the end of my trip! Big shout out to the La Banda family. Thanks for everything!

I spent an amazing week there. One of these hostels you keep on extending everytime because you just feel at home. Very lovely, helpful and welcoming staff. Perfect location. Daily activities that bring people together. Family dinners. This place is just magic. I can’t wait to come back.

Really nice hostel, very friendly, social and easy to meet people. Beware tho it is a bit of a party hostel so definitely noise until 12am, but if you don't mind that or even enjoy it it will be a perfect fit. A lovely and very home like lobby area, and the rooftop which has a bar, parties, and dinners, has an amazing view onto the cathedral.

  • 5/5 Tobias A. 2 years ago on Google
No doubt one of the best hostels out there among many I have been to. The staff is just second-to-none in how friendly and supportive they are. It's very clean, beds are comfortable, they have spacious storing space for your stuff, a well-equipped kitchen. I really appreciated how they weren't as 'greedy' as some other hostels: there was coffee, tea, oil etc. to use for everyone so that you didn't need to buy everything. The rooftop is fantastic and most importantly, the hostel actually makes it easy to get to know people: the common areas are well-made and you can tell they've put in some effort to make you feel welcome. The only thing I'd maybe query about: the doors slam with quite some noise so you might wake up when people come in and out. But the upsides far outweigh any downsides so I'm definitely coming back :)

  • 5/5 Charlotte de G. 2 years ago on Google
Amzing vibes, really easy to meet people during family dinner, sangria nights or the activities. The staff does a great job of bringing people together! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Only tiny flaw was that my bed missed a night light... But overall, really enjoyed my stay and definitely would recommend!

La Banda IS the only Sevilla Hostel to stay in - we stayed in 3 different Sevilla Hostels and neither of them was even close. The Sunday night and Wednesday night live music on the rooftop terrace is AMAZING!!!!!. Andrea, the manager, is such a beautiful person, and she CARES SO MUCH about the guest experience. I've never seen anyone work as hard as her - she does everything. And Nico is an amazing host/bartender/musician. The only reason I'm not rating La Banda a 5 is because the rooftop terrace, while beautiful, has a roof and walls on 3.5 sides, which means the cigarette smoke clings to the air. Which makes eating dinner nearly impossible if you can't endure cigarette smoke. The staff could set aside a smoking area in the far corner where the smoke could escape, using their existing tall plants and benches. We had the Christmas dinner and when I asked the woman next to me if she could not smoke while we were eating, she glared at me. And so did her partner. All of a sudden there was tension so I went downstairs to the kitchen and chatted with Andrea while she was prepping food. Andrea is SO LOVELY.

An absolutely amazing spot to stay in Sevilla. The beds are comfy, facilities are clean, and the location is unbeatable. But! What really makes the hostel so great is the staff, they take you under their wing and make you feel like a part of the La Banda family. Definitely the place to go if you’re looking to meet great people and make some memories! A big thanks to the La Banda fam for a fantastic stay xx

The best hostel in Andulsia. The only hostel I have ever come back to. It has amazing views that are worth the price. Also, the staff are lovely! Out of all the hostels I've been to, the staff here are my favorite I have come across.

It was a great pleasure to stay at La Banda Rooftop. Such a family feeling, so many activities organized by the hostal. The work team is always welcoming and helping out if needed. And rooms are very comfortable, I totally recommend La Banda Rooftop!!

It was my first staying at a hostel and I couldn't have chosen better! La Banda is the best choice if you want to meet cool people, enjoy some incredible nights and feel like in a big family. The staff is great, taking care to organize different events every night, like game nights, live music and so on. Overall, a joy to be there and would definitely recommend!

I have stayed in La Banda Hostel for 3 nights and among the 100+ hostels I have been to, La Banda Hostel has impressed me with the environment they offer, and the great experience they can give to travelers! Not to mention that it is a great value for money as well. Also, I think what made the experience so good are Francesca with her beautiful smile and helpfulness and Nico with his fun vibe and beautiful music he offers! I loved both of them so much!

I had the best time at La Banda! It was so easy to meet people and there were activities every evening! They even gave me a free drink and free meal voucher which was such a lovely touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hostel was very clean. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back again in the future! :)

Book now, thank me later. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I'm a solo traveller and was part of the family straight away. Amazing social vibe with amazing staff. The events and the social meals really help bring everyone together. Always very clean and tidy. Has the best roof top in seville. You know it's a good place when you walk away and miss it. A big thank you to all the staff at La Banda and the amazing other travellers I met for making my stay so good. I'd love a big reunion. La Banda I really love everything about this place and I will see you soon 100% Nathan from Wales

I can really recommend this hostel. With the (very tasty - compliments to the different chefs) hostel dinners and the rooftop bar it was very easy as a female solo traveler to meet and mingle with everyone. The hostel staff was super nice, helpful and fun (shoutout to the volunteer Darcy and his love for Reggaeton), there was always someone at reception, the place was clean and the free breakfast was a plus on top.
