Had a great time at this boutique hotel & could not recommend it enough. From the central location which is just a short walk to the centre to the outside plaza which is great for sitting outside & having a drink. The hotel is absolutely full of character & decorated to a very high finish, providing a tone of luxury that the room prices do not reflect as it is very affordable, drink prices in the bar were also very competitive. The staff were all absolutely great & especially Lorenzo who could not do enough for us, a really helpful chap who spoke great English, he is a credit to the hotel. If you get a chance, visit Seville & this hotel.

Location was great. Felt the facilities were mis-represented though. The pool was tiny and only had 2 sun loungers, in addition it was in the middle courtyard of the hotel so lacked privacy. Our room was small without much storage space and was also directly opening onto the main courtyard, with the shutters open people can see into the room and bathroom. Disappointed with our choice and glad we only spent 1 night there.

Excellent experience from the moment we arrived, although a bit tricky to find the place as can’t drive right to it. Greeted by a very charming and helpful gentleman (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember so my apologies to him if he’s reading this review) with a hot drink, he arranged to checked us in early, carried out luggage up to the room. Room itself was very nice…only small downside is that it was a bit heavily scented but lots of windows to open to air it out a bit. Perfect location in the city centre area. Same gentleman checked us out, helped us arrange our Uber to the train station and helped carry out luggage to the car. Even covered the cost of the two beers I’d bought in their bar the night before. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely stay again.

Unique. Superb.Visually captivating. Luxurious. The hotel is wonderful. The staff are incredibly attentive without being invasive. We needed nothing We've had 3 nights here in a suite. It was fabulous. Excellent location. If you enjoy corporate style hotel groups you won't like this hotel. It was a joy to stay there. Thank you to every member of staff for making our long weekend very special 😊

This is a very romantic hotel in a beautiful spot in wonderful Sevilla. Everything is in walking distance. We stayed in a suite the size of a King's bedroom with its own balcony and a very large and luxurious bathroom. The bar has an old english-style maritime look, very nice. Parking is quite a long walk though.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels imaginable at a very affordable price. From the moment of arrival you feel like you have stepped into a movie scene. From the gracious, kind, and warm welcome to the ushering through the boutique hotel, it was simply amazing. To top this off, the hotel and room were spotless…perfection! Our room was the library and having stayed in many hotels around the globe, I have never been in a more impressive setting that this. Again, right out of a movie set. The circular staircase to the sleeping area was the icing on the cake. The location of the hotel is perfect in its own little courtyard shared with a couple of other boutique hotels and little cafes; a very walkable location to everywhere from here…nothing was more than a gentle 15 minute stroll. The breakfast selection was just ridiculously good and such a varied selection. Keeping in mind this is a small boutique hotel, we could not believe how impressive the breakfast selection was, and it was included in our room rate. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel…Perfection!

Stunning décor throughout the hotel was matched only by the warmth of the staff. From when we first walked through the door we felt welcomed and valued. All common areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated and furnished and the superior room also did not disappoint with a large bed and a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. Location was central with a nice plaza outside the front door.

Dont book to stay here. This hotel steals money with your card details via hotels.com, and refuses to refund when you have a free cancellation.

Hardly ever, any boutique hotel leaves me with such wonderful impression and memories. Hotel Ateneo Sevilla establishment is a Renaissance palace in an excellent location in historical district of the city, filled with beautiful original furniture and items from the era it belongs to. One may feel like in a fairy tale about Scheherazade. I can reccomend it to anyone planning to visit Sevilla. Small inconveniences like labyrinth way to get there by car or poor internet in the room may not lower the value of the place. Walking distance to Alcazar palace, best tapas restaurants street and many other atractions balances in favour of the place. What is worth to mention is that it has only a few rooms, so it’s never crowded and noisy. You may feel like in luxury home. A very nice gesture from the hotel was a bottle of Cava delivered as a surprise to our room for our wedding anniversary.

I stayed for four nights at Hotel Ateneo with my wife. I have never been so warmly welcomed at a hotel, which continued through the stay. The room we stayed in was beautiful, and it's centrally-located. It was absolutely a delight.

Excellent with gracious, accommodating staff. We were offered a welcome coffee, and later vino and tapas. Lovely room, very well appointed, including working fireplace. Excellent location and parking. All staff members have gone above and beyond to accommodate us.

This place is like home!! We had a delightful experience with very warm hospitality(many thanks to Jorge and his colleagues for making it so special for us!!). The rooms are very comfortable, breakfast was awesome, location could not be better, service is outstanding. The hotel itself has amazing culture and art!! Try the junior suite. Definitely will stay here next time we visit Seville.

Such a georgous and charming hotel. Beautiful interior, luxurious furnishings, and amenities that thought of everything. You feel like you are staying at the home of a old Spanish royalty instead of a hotel.

This review is about room 302. It should not be in service during the summer. The AC is incapable of keeping up with the heat and sleeping in the room is like sitting in a locked car in the sun. Worst nights of my life.

Beautifully updated place. Big king size bed, very big updated bathroom. Very good breakfast. And every one was very helpful, getting us the airport taxi, printing covid test forms. Great location!

It absolutely a beautiful hotel. Full of characters and charming details. From the moment I opened its iron cast door, I felt I walked into a renaissance museum or mansion. The room we stayed is not big, but the bathroom is spacious. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. It was served in a wooden cart bringing to our table. Also there are freshly made omelette or other hot meals. The service was impeccable. Really felt staying in this hotel was treated like a nobleman. I can’t recommend it enough.

Absolutely outstanding little hotel in the city centre. I loved every bit of it. Really attentive staff, great breakfast and almost perfect location.

Lovely setup, right in the middle of the town. Love the wonderful attention to detail in every room. And what a room! Insane!. Loved it :) Wonderful experience

Hotel is a good mix of character and modern (e.g. discreet air conditioning). Unless it's included in your booking the breakfast is definitely not worth the hefty 17 euro per day price. Instead go to a local bakery or cafe.

The staff here are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It's a tricky place to find by car but we called them and they came to guide us in. The breakfast is great all fresh and very well presented. Highly recommended.
