Great location, lovely interiors retaining classic decor from early 20th Century. Rooms are good size and whole hotel has amazing interiors. Our king size room was facing the exterior and loved the sound of the horse carriages outside. We are on the veranda which was nothing to write home about, ate at the fine dining restaurant was better but not super special. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of excellent quality food local and international, we particularly enjoyed dining in the courtyard. But the best feature of this hotel is the swimming pool a rare feature in a city hotel but really enjoyed afternoons in the city and evenings by the pool. Hats off to the guy at the bar at the pool excellent service. We went during Easter and what a mind blowing experience highly recommend it. This was my fourth time in Seville a truly wonderful city, only down side is it’s holiday time so a few families about with kids. My last tip is a quote from WC Fields, hotels are for sleeping in, restaurants for eating in and bars for drinking in, Seville has some truly magnificent restaurants and hopping bars ….enjoy!

Really good overall experience. The check in was a bit unorganized. The pool area is nice and clean, the drinks in the pool bar are not expensive at all. The breakfast is massive and delicious and included for Titaniums. Location of the Hotel is unbeatable. The room we got was big and with a huge balcony/terrace. If you're going to Seville, stay here!

My friends and I visited this hotel to try their cocktails. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was also lovely. Very peaceful & relaxing. Would reccomend a visit it in Seville.

Exceptional hotel. Excellent location in the center of Seville, excellent service, excellent room, excellent restaurant and bar. The hotel is very close to the Alcazar and the Cathedral. The rooms are well maintained, with very comfortable beds. We had breakfast - it was also excellent with a wide selection of things. The staff was very responsive - I'm Marriott Titanium - my room was upgraded to the Grand Suite. There is also a very convenient parking lot in the hotel itself.

I used to come here as a child with my family, so I was very excited to share this hotel with someone I am traveling with. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant made a mistake and forgot about our allergy to nuts. They gave my partner a severe allergic reaction even though we told the server very clearly we have a nut allergy. This is not what I expect of a luxury resort where I am paying over $700 per night. In fact, I have received better service at $100/ night hotels. This allergic reaction was very serious and ruined our time in Seville. Do better next time. Also, the menu, which has an extensive allergy list, did not correctly label the tree but allergens in the desert we ordered.

Stunning property! Probably the best I ever went to and I’ve been around. It’s not a hotel it’s a museum. Amazing details. I absolutely loved it! Special thanks to Arturo Salgado but not just him. Everyone was great. What a treat! Amazing breakfast too. Couple of things though. I don’t know what’s going on with the side terrace staff but I don’t think they’re there to work and serve us. They’re there to have good times . I went with my wife for a drink and after I got the menu we sat there for 20 min like idiots and the staff wouldn’t acknowledge us. It’s wasn’t even that busy, only 3 tables. But they were too busy having good time and enjoying themselves. We left and we were not even acknowledged. That was terrible service! If I would take over that hotel and become GM I would fire the food and beverage manager immediately. Another thing the pool was so crowded and busy that we could never find a spot there in all 4 days. But fortunately for us we were not there for the pool. Also next time I will request a top floor room because for the first 2 days was perfect but after I think we got kids above us and it was a nightmare! Those kids must’ve been on steroids cause they were jumping up and down all the time. Nightmare even with the earplugs in. I wouldn’t put families and kids on the upper floors just for that reason. But overall we absolutely loved it and we will definitely be back!

The hotel is located in next to the park and beginning of the market. It is a good location to set off from to discover Seville. You may come across different people at the hotel, some tourists and some visiting it for the history. It is quite an amazing place to stay in and on our next visit we may explore the hotel a bit more as restrictions lift. The breakfast is quite good and so is the service. I was surprised to learn it was a chain of hotels rather than an independent hotel. It reminds me of the type of hotel where everything is taken care of.

We had our wedding at hotel alfonso. The professionalism was on a level I’ve never experienced before. A potentially stressful situation was turned into a relaxing and enjoyable experience by all of the team. The room we stayed in was also incredible. An unforgettable stay, thank you

This is the most beautiful an luxurious old style hotel I have experienced recently. Truly opulent in every way. The atmosphere left nothing to be desired and the service was wonderful. I always felt like people were happy to be helpful. Management here really knows how to keep order, I am beyond impressed. I know serving so many affluent guests in such a well orchistrated fashion takes huge talent!

First class price, economy service. Too many people come into the lobby or café take pictures and leave a nice review without actually staying in the hotel! Check in upon arrival was poor. At 12.30 the receptionist told us to wait for our rooms, which were not ready. No words were said about trying to speed up the process for customers paying a super premium price. The (supposed to be) twin room was prepared as a king. Bathroom was dirty. Corridors are full with liters, no staff picks up anything. Swimming pool floor is dirty with bird excrements. Pool service is good despite only having one staff there. Breakfast service is non existent. The buffet gets refilled too late.

The hotel is centrally located and in close proximity to other landmarks. The hotel interiors are stunning makes you feel like you're inside a museum. The rooms are great as well and quite large. The bathrooms are particularly stunning.

Hotel Alfonso is the place to be in Seville. My favourite part was the gorgeous terrace where we sat out drinking champagne, wine and cocktails for hours in the sun with great service and great views. The location is that great that my best friend actually ended up getting PROPOSED to, onsite at the hotel. A venue I will never forget and has a special place in our hearts. Bring on the wedding there! :)

We reserved connecting rooms for our family of 5 to be together. I opted not to use points because I was unable to secure connecting rooms with point rooms. I was given a long list of rooms that could possibly connect. However, when we arrived, we were given rooms that were not connecting and not near each other despite our request. I was told they could move us the next day, but there was no follow up the next day. I would have used points to pay for the rooms if I knew that it would be impossible to get connecting rooms. For such a large list of connecting possibilities, it is disappointing that Hotel Alfonso did not make an effort to fulfill our request, especially because we paid an exorbitant amount per night. When we arrived in our Premium suite, the sink was leaking. We had to leave for a previously scheduled event. When we returned after dinner, the sink was still leaking out of the faucet. We turned the sink on and it made a very loud banging sound. I called the front desk to inform. While on the phone, my husband was able to tighten the plumbing under the sink to stop the noise. We both took a shower. At 12:30pm, I then I turned the second sink on to brush my teeth and the other sink started to bang even louder this time. I called the front desk and had to request they send someone from maintenance immediately despite them offering to send someone the next morning. The maintenance guy came and was able to disconnect the plumbing in the sink and said he would come back at 10:00am the next morning. Because of this problem, we did not get to bed until 1:30am and had to wake up early the next morning, resulting in a great lack of sleep. I had to ask the front desk at 10:45am the next morning to remind them to send the maintenance guy. When we returned later that afternoon, the sink was repaired. The front desk did not offer any bit of a concession except "I'm sorry." Marriott should have provided some type of concession for the inconvenience and disruption for the amount of money we paid for the room. Other small problems during our stay I would normally overlook included hair in the tub upon arrival, a broken automated shade that would not close (maintenance repaired that the next day), and the lack of water bottle replenished despite multiple requests. The breakfast buffet is very ordinary and not fresh…nothing to write home about. We are very disappointed in our stay at the Hotel Alfonso XIII. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone despite my previous loyalty to Bonvoy Marriott Hotel Collections. I hope to return to Seville in the future, but will NOT stay at this hotel. Again, very disappointing stay at this hotel and not worth the money.

Beautiful ritzy hotel with old European atmosphere, but don't stay here - just stop by to see the building, you'll be happier and comfier. Other reviewers say staff is rude/doesn't care, didn't experience that: they are just used to tourists walking in/out and don't have a typical American overly-friendly attitude. The location is great, right next to the old tobacco factory/current university

Location of Hotel Alfonso XIII is hard to beat. You're in the middle of all the sights and nice restaurants. The rooms are very charming and we really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the rooms' terrace. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Service was fantastic as well.

Top luxury hotel in the marvelous city of seville. The location is a stone throw away from Seville’s attractions. The historic area surrounding the hotel has many nice restaurants and cafes. The hotel has great staff that provided courteous and attentive service throughout our stay. The breakfast in patio was delicious, with numerous items on the buffet and with great service. We would definitely come back when we are in Seville.

Lovely old style Grand Hotel, part of the Marriot Luxury collection, set in the heart of Seville. Very tourist orientated with a busy concierge. The open courtyard is a wonderful place to eat breakfast and the buffet is excellent. The rooms are well equipped and a suite is very comfortable. There is an early turn down which can disrupt if you are getting ready to go out. The pool and gardens are tropical and attractive with the attendent pool bar and service. The Ena restaurant serves great Tapas and has a good selection of Sherries too! A great hotel to base from if you are planning on discovering Seville.

We went to a wedding at this wonderful hotel. Being a luxury collection we were expecting a luxury experience but the service that they offer is really poor and I am not talking about the hotel that is stunning, all the building and the paintings, everything. It is a shame that you have plastic chairs in a place like that, the cutlery wasn't the right one,for example for the sirloin steak we got a butter knife and for dessert a normal spoon, and also under plates, which were silver, with an emaciated appearance and stained with lime. The waiters with an emaciated appearance also, uniforms from the last century and little love for what they do, and this is not their fault at all, when everyone is so little motivated it is because they are not treated well, which is the main thing to be able to give a good service. I don't know if this is based on what the couple pays, which from what I know was not cheap, but it doesn't matter either, in a place like this they shouldn't have the option of giving anything mediocre if they want to maintain their reputation.

Just WOW! The second you walk up you are greeted with a smile and the utmost attention. The service here sets the bar! Comfy beds, stellar breakfast, great air con, modern gym, lovely pool and grounds. Literally does not get better. We felt like royalty! Thank you for one of my top hotel experiences of my life!

I had high expectations for this place, but it really wasn't as great as the other Luxury Collection hotel I have stayed in. As Titanium Bonvoy members, we have used suite night award for an upgrade, but the suite we were given was dark and it felt dingy as there was no window in the bedroom! We had asked for a different room, which we were given. It wasn't a suite, but it was OK aa it at least had a window! Breakfast was OK, in a beautiful courtyard, but neither the food nor the service were great. Nothing was really bad, but nothing was really good either. It's a magnificent building in a great location, but as much as we loved Seville and we are planning to go back, we won't be staying at the same hotel.

Elegance, history and luxury, this hotel is everything and more. You feel like royalty😊! The location is unbeatable...within minutes from all the key monuments, restaurants and experiences (lets say a flamenco show) that you want to enjoy. I hope to have an opportunity to come back!

The ambience and decor is excellent. Seeing is believing. The tile work as well as the ceiling was reminiscent of the palaces and castles of the 17th century. We had dinner at the San Fernando. Service and food were both very good. Had the grilled turbot (fish) on a bed of vegetables and mild gravy- very nice.

Outrageously noisy. Loud dance music outside our suite until 11 pm followed by screaming drunks. For $1400 per night I expect far more. When I complained they said no other rooms were available tonight and to check with reception the next morning. I was told the “event” will continue tomorrow night as well. Unacceptable!

My daughter and I stayed 3 nights about 3 nights ago . They were so accommodating. The rooms were warm so the brought fans. Turn down service every night .Concerge made us an amazing reservation across the river at a restaurant named Rio Grande artichokes were the Best in my life . They arranged our very need . The morning buffet was amazing selection. The museum tour so interesting . The port and cookies delivered to our room at night fabulous! The dinner in the court yard was slow but peaceful with everything being attended to . The pool lovely, but trying to get a drink or a check from the one guy there was a night mare. Just needs another person . The hotel was quiet and beautiful and we are so glad we had that experience, we will be back .

A great historical building does not make it a luxury hotel - the service is horrible and incompetent - some 3 stars hotel have much better personnel: we stayed here for 5 days in q of the most expensive and largests suits - the appearance of the rooms and the location are great, however the food is very average and the worst if the staff: many of them cannot get very basic English, the faces are unfriendly and arrogant, the cleaning service is not great. The worst happened when we ordered a bottle of champagne - the lady who delivered it broke a glass and she neither cleaned it nor told us about that and the floor was covered with the splinters of glass and my wife got injured, I reported that to the manager and no excuse was made

The hotel is beautiful with extremely kind and friendly staff. Our room could use a little attention on details that are not seen, one of the two bathrooms is the walk-in shower which had mold in the grout lines of the tiles and the floor had a PVC vinyl liner over the floor and the entrance to the room had broken molding.

The place to be when in Seville! Every inch of the hotel is Instagram worthy! :) Service was excellent, most friendly staff, special mention to Desiree Screpanti and Alejandro Herrera! I just wish though that the shower area was bigger and well covered :)

Beautiful, historic hotel. Luxury. Only stayed one night but wish we'd stayed longer. Fantastic central location with an outside pool - hugely necessary to cool down in during August in Seville. Highly recommend.

Iconic hotel in Sevilla ,beautiful decor and very good location but the service and the facilities are not up to the standard of such a prestigious establishment. -The reception area with its backlit counters is out keeping with the architecture of the place . -The culinary offer is of very average quality, especially since the main restaurant and the American bar were closed during our entire stay. also impossible to have a drink around the beautiful patio -likewise, the pool bar is non existent, only 1 person to take care of the entire pool (towels management + bar) - the is tiny, the machines are crammed in a closed place not respecting the rules Covid. A sauna is indicated but non-existent. -The rooms are beautiful but no drink in the mini bar only 2 expresso capsules and some paper cups at your disposal -the advice of the concierge is disconnected from the reality, we were looking for a restaurant for lunch on monday, the 2 restaurants were advised were closed on monday ... It's very a shame that such a mythical place is managed in such a impersonal way

Probably the best hotel in Seville. Great service. Fabulous food !!! Beautiful surroundings. One tiny gripe would be the Violinist at the "Dinner under the stars"played very depressing music. Needs to be more uplifting. All in all , you must visit this place.

Fantastic experience -- I wish I lived in this hotel. Pool is beautiful, the courtyard is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful. Nice little gym with plenty of equipment and fantastic customer service. Would recommend the breakfast buffet, esp. if traveling with points. Easy access (10 min walk) to the Alcazar and the Cathedral, as well as Triana across the bridge.

This hotel is magnificent. The architecture is mindblowing and I would recommend to check it even if you don't stay in the hotel. All details from room, corridors to swimming pool are amazing. The only thing is the breakfast is pretty average for the price / luxury hotel it is. My only complain is that the price is very high for what it is. But if you have the budget, one or two nights is definitely nice!

If there is a zero star I might actually put it. There is zero service or house keeping in the hotel. I reminded them 3 times that I wanted something and it still wasn't done. It was my Gf's bday and I asked them 3 times to out the pedals on the bed, nothing was done. The rooms are nothig specials, the corridor might be nice but save yourself the trouble and money by staying elsewhere and coming in to take a picture.

We have stayed 3 times and every stay has been perfect. The front staff is always very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable even during Covid. We have stayed in their finest suites & guaranteed you feel like royalty in those suites. Love the pool, gym & sauna. The breakfast is huge and delicious- don’t see something ask for it they may just oblige you. This is my go to hotel to treat myself

The building of the hotel is magnificent. Everything is beautiful. The same cannot be said about the services, unfortunately. I wanted to get some coffee and tea but nobody was picking up the phone. It was in the afternoon. I tried several times. In the end I tried the Marriott app chat but no response so I gave up. And just as I was leaving the hotel a couple of hours later, I got a response in the chat! I managed to order by phone after having returned to the room in the evening. What was not good at all was, I was arriving on the 5th Jan, I came to the city by car and all the streets leading to the hotel were blocked by the police! They should have sent me a notice in advance. I called them but it was not of much help. They merely said it was because of the parade and I had to walk. Half an hour later I managed to find a car parking elsewhere where I left my car and had to call a taxi to take me near the blocked road, going the rest of the way on foot with my suitcases.

Stayed for New Years Eve with my family. Nice food but if you looking for a party and lively atmosphere don’t recommend, not much New Years Night atmosphere. Overall beautiful hotel in great location!!! Definitely will come back but not for New Years Night 😅

Luxurious hotel stay. Great location, absolutely beautiful hotel with a historic background. Would recommend anyone who would pay a little more than average for a great experience to stay here while in Seville. Their terrace bar also makes excellent cocktails, which is fun to stop by before heading out in town at night.

3.4 Nice Hotel, beautiful building. But it has seen better days especially in the rooms. Also the cleaning has not been great and there have been metal pieces, lipstick and dust in the room. Also a spa is missing People are very charming and the lunch was excellent

Old Palace. Rooms can use a furniture update. No standing shower, just shower head inside the tub, which is risky for older people..... Great A/C in room. Fantastic location. Pool is beautiful, clean and chilled water that are perfect for the hot weather.

I’ve never stayed here but this hotel is a great place to enjoy a coffee or a drink and to just escape the city or heat for a bit and chill. Much nice that Starbucks across the road. It’s very grand but don’t be put off. It’s really with going in. The building is beautiful

An absolutely gorgeous hotel. The building is everything you dream of about European luxury. There is an antiques dealer in the lobby that truly made this hotel special for me as a history buff. As a Platinum member booking through Amex fine hotels & resorts I was upgraded to a premium suite which was a dream of a room! A few downsides: I wasn’t able to check in to my upgraded room until 3, I wasn’t greeted as an elite member or an Amex fine hotels and resorts patron. The breakfast staff was dismissive and inattentive. I requested a bottle of champagne for my room and did not receive it. I had to go down to the restaurant to get it myself after over an hour of waiting.

Gorgeous hotel that reminds us the Four Seasons George V in Paris. Hotel honored our Marriott platinum status with an upgrade to a top floor room with a most wonderful and spacious balcony overlooking the park and top of the cathedral. Beautiful patio restaurant offers an oasis during the Holy Week to watch the parade. Magnificent dining area for breakfast. Best location in the center. Attentive and friendly staff. Would only stay and recommend this hotel in Seville.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Every aspect of the hotel has fine details that make it a very special stay. The breakfast has many gluten free options and the bar has good cocktails. The lobby keeps fresh flowers and the location is central.
