Such a beautiful place and the sunsets are breathtaking. What a magical place. I was mesmerized by every detail from the flamenco dancers, to the amazing ceramic art of each city! The colors, the energy, the vibe are absolutely amazing! Plus there was a wedding taking place while there, so that made it even more beautiful! Love was definitely in the air!

(Translated by Google) One of the most emblematic places in Seville. Full of buildings that once formed the 1929 exhibition. Full of roundabouts and squares with a hundred-year-old trees. One of the areas that you cannot miss if you go to Seville. Also next to it is the famous Plaza de España. An exceptional place no matter where you look at it. In it you will be able to observe centenary trees, a fantastic ecosystem, with many animals, do not forget to visit the Mudejar Pavilion, the Archaeological Museum, the Royal Pavilion and Mount Gurugú, these pavilions are the vestiges of the Expo of 29. A great green space in Seville. Ponds, flowers and trees. The Pigeon Park was a fun spot for families. A horse and carriage ride was a great way to enjoy the park. Great architecture spots in the park too. Check out the RetiredAndTravelling blog for a full review.

Beautiful Park! But beware as it is very hot in Summer in the afternoon. The trees shade is not enough as there is no wind nor breeze at all. As usual in Seville, I'd recommend to visit it only if you are 2 days and more in Seville as there are much more impressive places to visit. Unless of course if Parks are your thing and trump superb architecture and lively streets ;-) We were there enough days and therefore could visit it thoroughly and enjoy this relaxing and pastoral place. And again, better to visit it in the morning or late afternoon.

Big fan of this park! It’s massive and there are tons of places to sit, take pictures, and embrace the nature around you. You can take a row boat out or watch ducks/birds. It’s nice for walking and probably running if you’re into that.

Simply a must visit if you visit. The plaza de españa should be spoken about in similar terms to "wonders of the world" its an incredibly impressive and beautiful structure.

Great place we passing by on the way to Plaza de Espana. What i really like was the bougainvillea flower. So beautiful and thick!. I can see some type of birds too. Some duck at the pond or lake. The park is well-maintain and clean.

A jungle paradise with giant tropical trees and beautiful birds that takes you back to nature, into romance and quiet reflection. A rejuvenating force in the heart of busy ancient Seville. A must do.

(Translated by Google) A magical place in almost the heart of Seville. Relaxing and a delight to walk through this park and stop to contemplate its vegetation, its historic buildings, the duck pond, its museums ... Next to it is the Plaza de España, monumental and unique. You should not go through Seville and leave without visiting it and knowing these two places.

Definitely one of the top-3 sites in Sevilla, if not the best! Located in the middle of a very nice park that is already worth the visit. The Plaza de España is a great mix of beautiful arquitecture, ceramic decorations and Sevilla spirit! Specially interesting for Spaniards to find the bench with your city (there is one for each city in Spain) If you are lucky you will see some live flamenco in the square which makes the place magical!

A place worth visiting, to immerse yourself in ancient Spanish history, looking at the amazing art-work on walls, each depicting a period or event in one Spanish province... at around 18.30pm during the summer months, you maybe lucky enough to see a fantastic Flamenco dance by street dancers.

(Translated by Google) one of the best known and most spectacular spaces of regional architecture. Designed by architect Anibal Gonzalez, it was built for the Ibero-American Exhibition held in Seville in 1929. Known all over the world, its semi-elliptical shape, 200 meters in diameter and its area of 50,000 square meters (about five football fields), symbolizes the embrace of Spain with its former colonies and looks towards the Guadalquivir river as the way forward to America. As an anecdote, know that the Spanish Steps in Seville have been used as a backdrop for famous films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, The Dictator with Sacha Baron Cohen or The lion and the wind, with Sean Connery. (Translated by Google) The park is beautiful. Precisely for this reason, I do not understand how it can be kept like this, dirty and neglected. It is easy to find garbage, the ponds are quite dirty, water full of various residues or directly stagnant in some places. A pond in which there are many ducks, pigeons and some swans, quite abandoned, the two times I have passed through it I have seen a dead duck floating and another time, another dying and badly injured animal. I think the maintenance of this place can be improved since I have seen much better maintained parks.

A very large lovely city park in the heart of Seville. The lush greenery with many rose gardens, trees from around the world and so many orange trees. Take time to notice the many green parrots flying around and notice the beautiful banyan trees. At the duck pond we saw many varieties of ducks with their ducklings but the highlight was a beautiful white swan sitting on a nest of 5 eggs with her male close by. A lovely place to stroll and lay in the grass before or after visiting the Plaza de Espana.

Gorgeous park right beside the Plaza d’España. You’ll find lots of vendors with water and ice creams around 2€ each. There is beautiful architecture and fountains to sit by. Perfect for a little stroll before of after going to the plaza. You can reach the riverfront by going through this park from the plaza. Highly recommend for a quick or long visit depending on how much you like to walk!

A nice park covering a large area with plenty of green space to sit, walk. The trees are amazing with a variety providing shade on sunny days. The park is filled with runners, walkers, explorers on their feets, in horse driven carriages, rental bikes. The entry to the park is free and there are many interesting areas like the waterfalls, various buildings. One could spend 3 hours to more than half a day wandering through the park and having a picnic. It's recommended to bring water as there are limited shops in the park.

Extensive park with beautiful flora. Many fountains and water areas attract many birds and animals. The only issue we had was the public restrooms were closed and we had to leave the park and come back after finding one.

Beautiful park to wander through (especially if seeing the Plaza de España) as it has plazas, gardens (including palm trees, orange tees), Moorish/ceramic tiled fountains, monuments. There is quite a bit of shade throughout and many seats, so nice to visit even on hot days.

Stunning green space where you can find both dynamics and peace. It is a spacious square with open view. There are wild animals and status hidden as well which makes this place adorable. There are so many things to see around. An amazing place to slow down and enjoy life and time here. Make sure you have enough time planned for this park!!

Beautiful park! The trees and ponds look really cool and it's a perfect place to cool off or escape the city noise. There are also some swans and water fountains. Like with many of the other parks in Sevilla, you get the sense that they put a lot of effort and character behind it.

It was really lovely even in December when most of the fountains / water features weren't in use. We spend a couple of hours just having a wander through it and watching the parakeets and the ducks. It's a nice break after days full of museums and information overload.

Located along the main river in Seville, 30 min walk from bullring or $40 carriage ride .What a beautiful park set in the grounds of what was formerly palace gardens. American exposition in 1929 was held here and the brick and porcelain buildings were used for this.Even the bridges are in porcelain. At the end of the avenue of trees the massive fountain comes into view with the buildings providing a backdrop. This is only part of the park there is much more to see. There are drink carts situated throughout the park and plenty of picnic spots to enjoy.

Park is very clean and well maintained, orange trees, little waterfalls and loads of shade make your stay very enjoyable. Beautiful! Definitely a place to visit in Sevilla, if you are lucky (and no covid restrictions) you will find guitar player and flamenco dancers that complete the charm of this place. You can do a little boat tour (by yourself) or just enjoy the visit inside and outside. Best spot for pictures.

In my opinion, best viewed at night when it's all lit up. As we entered the plaza we heard music and assumed it was background, until we saw a flute player on the entrance main steps. It was a fantastic ambiance! The whole plaza beautifully decorated and very romantic. (Translated by Google) Located in the Maria Luisa Park, the Plaza de España in Seville was completed in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exposition. It is a square of 170 meters in diameter, with more than 50,000 square meters of surface and nowadays it houses the subdelegation of the government. It is an impressive square, with many details and very well taken care of (although the maintenance in the last years has lowered as far as quality and periodicity is concerned). It is often used for large events and exhibitions, as well as for movie sets. Examples of this last are, the fragments of film that were recorded for Star Wars. In October 2018 a large event related to it invaded the area ending in this emblematic square. I enclose some of the photographs I took at the event.

It's connected with Spain Plaza. If you visit the Plaza in the middle of a hot summer day you can use this park to get some shade and take in the beauty of this place. It's quite far from any roads so it's peaceful. There are a lot of birds that call this park home so even if you are not in birdwatching you will have a blast following different species that fly around. I don't consider this park a must see but it's nice to have it in mind if you have an hour to kill and you are in the area.

We visit Maria Luisa everyday on our Sevilla trip. It's such a nice park if you wanna go for a walk, relax on the grass or just to avoid the street. Everything is clean, there are a lot of different plants and trees and you have some shops where you can buy Ice or drinks. Also there are 2 or 3 public toilets which could be used for 0,60€.

Beautiful park. You can spend hours just exploring this park and all it's beauty.

Great place to visit. Relaxing atmosphere with several street artists playing music and performing a flamengo dance. Possibility to rent a boat so you can row a bit in the water at the Plaza d'España. During the evening the crowds go away and a more quiet place will be shown. Beautiful lights that create warm atmosphere. Every Spanish province has it's own 'sofa' here, where you can pose in front of your favorite province. And most of all, everything is free!

Great parc. Huge trees, nice alleys, green, green as long as you can see. I liked a lot.

It's one of the best city parks in Europe. You can find nature, plants, animals, live music, museums, activities...it is pure live history just ready to enjoy.

I think mainly known as the entrance to Plaza de España which is a fantastic place. I can also imagine this park with all its trees is a relieve in hot summer, and a green lung for the city, but it isn't very special. And there is a public toilet.

Amazing place, even on a wet December evening. It has a wonderful atmosphere Much more vibrant during the summer. It is also free to enter - no charge. If you are visiting Seville do not miss it. Well worth a visit!

One of the most stunning parks that I've been to anywhere in the world. Situated right next to plaza De espana. There are some pretty cool musicians during the weekend so sit, picnic and enjoy! You can also rent bikes and ride around.

Great place to visit with a lot of interesting places to see. Bring your own water as shops are rare. Also know where the desired exit is :)

Beautiful, relaxed and calming - definitely visit if you like your green outdoor spaces. Very nicely maintained garden with a huge variety of plants from around the world. Birds and ducks everywhere especially during the start of spring (visited in April). There are plenty of little kiosks at the edges of the park if you're hungry or thirsty, but you could definitely pack a few bocadillos and have a bite anywhere!

This is a beautiful park. The trees are so varied and some are huge. Great to see the Exhibition Building from 1929. Large and wonderfully constructed. You could spend hours here!

A wonderful park which houses the Plaza De Espana and other monuments. We walked through this park every morning and every night while we were in Sevilla. The park was so peaceful and lively at the same time - it felt like the heartbeat of the city. Definitely worth a visit to stroll through - my favorite parts of the day were walking through this park and just feeling relaxed in nature.

Whilst in Seville on vacation last week, I went through this beautiful park after visiting the Plaza de Espana. It's all interlinked by gates too. Stunning area with trees, avenues, museums (at far end), mini plazas, fountains, statues and waterfalls. Plenty of shade from the Sun too. Refreshment stalls around too in places though not used. Well recommended.

Amazing and fascinating for its history and architectural beauty, tile designs and the art is just incredible. This 85-acre (34-hectare) site was formerly the gardens of a royal palace and is filled with gardens, pools, monuments, historic buildings, fountains and museums. The highlight of the park is the Plaza de España, a large semicircular building that was commissioned for the Spanish American Exhibition of 1929.

It’s probably the most beautiful park I’ve visited in Spain - I’m absolutely in love with the giant trees they have all over the park. There are plenty of places to sit and relax or just look at the many ducks/swans that live here. The park is well maintained, it’s clean and has several bins around. I wish we’d have more parks like this in every city - modern parks tend to have more concrete and small-growing trees unlike here. One suggestion would be to place the information about the trees in English as well.

One of the most beautiful parcs that I have visited. Many different parts with lots of room to chill on the grass. It has beautiful altars all over the place and lots of different trees. Next to that, it has beautiful buildings and great fountains. You can walk here for hours and still find new things. It's awesome

  • 5/5 Chris W. 11 months ago on Google
Very large beautiful park. Does not much in the way of activities. It's mostly just for strolling. The Plaza de Espania and Plaza de America are interesting areas along with other areas. Lot's of fountains and other water attractions like the man made waterfall.

  • 5/5 Callum K. 1 year ago on Google
Really awesome park that contains a lot of amazing things including the Plaza de Espana and Plaza de Americana. We took a nice long walk through the park and there was a ton of activity including yoga classes, tours, people picnicking, children playing and tourists capturing the moments. We had a great time on a wonderful day and hope to come back soon.

Worth a visit to see the building and the grounds. Now pedestrianised it’s easy to walk around although there are some building works which make finding some of the entrances difficult. Take a boat ride on the Venetian like water ways to soak up the sun.

Beautiful park and good place to escape from hot sun during the summer. You can see many interesting plants, fountains and ponds with ducks and swans. There are toilets and drinking fountains on couple of places.

Gorgeous park near the Plaza de Espana. Beautiful gardens, ponds and fountains. A lot of welcome shade to get a rest from the heat and hot Seville sun.

Sevilla is probably the most beautiful city in Spain, excluding Madrid and Barcelona, even it's questionable as well. Really impressive Palace as all city. You must see it for sure.

  • 4/5 Ville K. 8 months ago on Google
This park is one of the prettiest ones. There are a lot of trees which give a nice shade to sit down and rest for a moment. One of my favorite parts is the Isla de los pájaros where you can see parrots and ducks as well as little ducklings. There are a few toilets in the park. They are usually clean but bring your own paper.

It's a lovely park that's use mostly as a thoroughfare to get to places in Seville, but you will find many shady spots and benches to sit on. It is near the Plaza De Espana , the Real Alcazar and Saville's magnificent cathedral.

This park is just amazing 😍 Only one negative comment: no public toilet at all.It was supposed to be 2, but both permanently closed. The park is enormous,so you are going to spend 3-4 hours there,or a day...
