Thankyou
for
those
who
recommended
starting
at
Italica
Hostel
Santiponce
Sevilla
rather
than
pushing
through
to
Guillena
💥💥
I
found
doing
a
short
(10km
/2hr)
first
day
out
of
Seville
yesterday
was
a
fabulous
choice.
It
put
my
starting
nerves
at
ease
and
gave
my
inital
stage
a
real
sense
of
do-ability.
It
meant
I
could
eat,
hydrate,
stretch
and
prepare
first
with
no
sense
of
rush.
I
was
able
to
really
soak
in
the
delightful
village
of
Cama
as
I
used
Gerald
Kelly's
fabulous
app/guidebook
directions
to
f
find
my
way
through.
I
arrived
fresh
and
with
plenty
of
pep
in
my
step
to
go
and
visit
the
incredible
Roman
city
ruins
just
20mins
walk
from
the
hostel.
And
there
is
a
fabulous
little
traditional-feeling
store
right
around
the
corner
from
the
hostel
(on
the
main
road
next
to
the
Farmacia)selling
a
fabulous
array
of
local
bread,
cheeses,
cold
meats,
fruit
and
veges.
I
had
plenty
of
time
to
really
stretch
my
body
out
Ditch
heavy
gear
I
have
decided
not
to
carry
And
get
my
clothes
washed
and
dried
ready
for
day#2.
Most
of
all,
I
valued
the
hospitality
of
the
gorgeous
hostel
owners
Anna
and
Anotonio.
Right
from
before
I
arrived
I
felt
their
warm
and
authentic
commitment
to
care.....
which
then
I
found
replicated
in
the
way
their
hostel
is
lovingly
set
up.
Their
online
photos
don't
capture
just
how
new
and
incredibly
clean
the
hostel
is,
or
allll
the
thoughtful
touches
like
storage
pockets
at
the
bed-ends,
hooks
in
shower
areas,
carefully
displayed
tea
and
pastry
option
and
good
quality
kitchen
equipment
and
very
comfortable
sitting
areas.
Heck,
the
flowers
in
the
bathroom
even
match
the
colour
of
the
handwash
in
their
dispenser!
(Not
crucial
obviously,
but
a
testament
to
the
attention
to
detail
they
have
done
everything
here
with)
If
you
are
a
slow-stroller
or
just
thinking
about
where
to
make
your
first
stop
out
of
Seville
I
highly
recommend
Italica
Hostel
in
Santiponce.
