One of the best restaurants in the are! Wow really to the quality of the meat and of-course pizzocheri !

Il Poggio is one of the best restaurants you can eat traditional food of the place. The menu is very large, full of local dishes. The restaurant is family-owned, they are very professional. The chef and his wife are very nice. The waiters are super friendly. Regarding the food: top notch quality. I took a tartar as appetizer. Pizzoccheri (which is a dish from Il Poggio's region) as main dish: extremely good. As second dish, I took the Tzigoiner. The dish was very good. The view is breathtaking and the road to get to there is easy and accessible. I strongly suggest to enjoy this experience.

Beautiful location with panoramic view over the valley. Staff was very friendly (some speak good English) and service was on par for this type of restaurant, definitely above-average. All dishes were prepared with local ingredients and presented with care and style, if you like accompanied by a wide variety of wines. Very pleasant experience and tasteful food, definitely recommended!

Very very beautiful, clean location with THE perfect view over Valtellina. Super super nice people and beautiful service and last but not least - delicious food! Innovative and intelligent dishes with fresh ingridients. Authentic and made with love. In 4 days of vacation close by we where 2 times for dinner and it was a pleasure!!! Highly recommend that place!

One can't describe this place, one just have to come, take a seat on a terrace and try this outstanding food. There are two menus, one contains most traditional Valtelina dishes, the second one is seasonal and more experimental. All the food, starting from local beef on the stick cooked over the fire, to slow cooked pork with coffee and raspberries is best possible quality and will surprise the greatest connoisseur.

Amazing view from the terrace, great gastronomic experience in la Valtellina, enjoying the wonderful wines from the region. I tasted the braseé Tzigeüner with an amazing glass of Sforzato de la Valtellina, after a sortiment of typical Valtellina appetizers.

Great variety of wines and meat specialties from Valtellina. Service was top notch too. I can only recommend.

On my first visit about 4 years ago, I was completely thrilled. Everything was perfect. On my last visit in July 22, the food was still great, the view and the ambience still fantastic. It took too long for the menu to come, and it took far too long for the food to arrive. And it took too long again until we could pay - finally. It was obvious that too few staff were responsible for too many guests. This is not the fault of the staff, but of the management. I don't know if I will go there again. PS: When I order a "vino de la casa" in Italy, it's usually quite decent or at least average. Here it was sour and really cheapest variety.

Good, traditional restaurant with nice local cuisine and great local wine selection on offer, with great options by the glass. Kind service (and the view is fantastic).

Beautiful place to sit any time of the year. Delicious and beatiful dishes! One of my favorite places to go when I'm in the valley. Best pizzocherri in the area ;-)
