The Kiosk is still the best place to get a BarraBurger, has been for years, Great little shop, and friendly staff, wish it was open as bit later. (Would not really recommend the coffee here, but it's not a primarily a cafe so not dropping the rating)

Fast service, not bad food, especially the yummy Fish cakes :) Great location & view. However very greasy, and calamari crumb was a bit hard. Fish seemed fresh-ish... chips were good. Lots of seagulls waiting around to dine with lol.

The fish burger was moist and beautifully cooked, very generous portion of crispy chips. An amazing you for you to sit down and enjoy your burger, ice cream or fish and chips.

Stopped in for dinner after walking along the strand with the kids. The young girls at the shop were super friendly and food was cooked well. Will definitely be going back. 😀

What gem this place is! The lady who took our order was warm and friendly. The food was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and yummy! Definately recommend eating here.

A really nice place for the family to sit and have a fish and chip picnic, the food was really hot (I mean really hot) and the chip portions we found to be more than enough. The cost was about what you'd expect, but the packs (we had a family pack) were well priced.

I go here every weekend & would generally rate this 5 stars for everything! There was a group of boys there last night causing a distraction! These boys were hanging around the counter causing problems calling out numbers, in the way of customers. As a consequence the food was oily & of poor quality. At one stage one of the girls jumped the counter & went riding in one of the boys scooters. Not acceptable for such a good place!

Had the Crumbed Fish with Six calamari and Large chips. Chips were crunchy and not greasy, the fish was cooked perfectly.. still moist and generous size. The calamari was fresh and perfectly cooked aswell with a nice wedge of lemon include. Was delicious meal will definitely be back.

Good food, the lawn cutlets were a little disappointing but the fries were great. Service is a little slow but not that bad either

Good location. We only got ice cream so cannot say about the fish and chips but right next to the kids playground so that was a bonus.

It was okay. Had the mackerel, chips and scallop. The chips were perfect, crispy fresh and delicious. The scallops were perfectly cooked fresh and sweet. The mackerel did not taste like mackerel. Tasted like a bland basa.

i’ve been eating here many many years. seen many hands go through this place and yet time after time i cannot fault that battered barra. it literally falls apart in your mouth, always perfect gold batter. the chips are great size, balancing crisp well and maintaining a soft centre. and every single time it’s like this. the high standard is constantly maintained throughout the years demonstrating an efficient business! well done, and thanks for a tasty fish and chip exp every. single. time.

Tiny thin fillets of fish for $10.50 with the smallest pieces of lemon ive ever seen couldnt even squeezeout enough lemon for a chip, chips undercooked

Great night at strand. Kiosk is always there for lunch & dinner, beautifully cooked fish, chips etc. Also coffee, cold drinks, we enjoyed ice cream cone while waking along pier which is just in front of kiosk.
