My overall experiences over the years has been positive and I will leave a detailed review at a later point. HOWEVER. Argyle Street Medical Centre DOES NOT OFFER telehealth services. I called today to book a telehealth appointment explaining why I couldn't possibly come in today, tomorrow and have been physically unable to visit the doctor for months. This was not understood and the receptionist kept insisting I come in tomorrow. Eventually she Relented and said the Doctor will call you in the afternoon. I asked "What time?" as the doctor had several APPOINTMENT blocked empty. She said "in between his appointments when he has free time". So I spend from 11AM until after 5PM just waiting around at home. Eventually I ended up paying a private provider to renew my referal, and they had time slots of between 30min to 1hr. I have sever Castro inertial problems, and unless the doctor: 1. Able to see me when I pop in the odd time I may be able to get out of the house (I dont expect this) 2. Can offer an ACTUAL consultation over the phone, 15min like in person considered equal, and he is paid for it as such 3. Argyle Street Medical Center has doctors who do at home visits and doctors will be able to visit me. (also difficult even if possible) I need an explication as to why point 2 is not possible and why I have not received a call back. Why I couldn't be given an approximate time. Overall as said the doctors and center has been great but this was a physically and nasty experience and a horrible service and service provider in this aspect of health. NEVER NEVER use argyle street medical center for any kind of over the phone health care it is non-existent. Private consultant less than $30 referral done in 30 seconds. Makes Argyle Street’s services even objectively extremely low quality and in this area non-existent

Worst medical centre. Receptionist told to wait for 30-40mins and I ended up waiting for more than 2 hours with still no one to attend. Upon approaching the receptionist, she said there are 2 more patients before and I literally counted 7 patients being attended before me. They just wasted out my whole day. Don’t know how they prioritise the waiting queue but must say they are totally unprofessional.

I wish there was option of 0 rating. Despite the appointment of 12:30pm I had to wait for more than an hour and I asked thrice at reception about how long do I need to wait every time they said you are next. Very bad management it is. The review is not for the GP, my GP was Dr Tim whose service m always happy with. My review is for the receptionists as I had always had to wait despite the appointments. This is not for the one time. I don’t think appointments should be given as they don’t make any difference. Note: I have been thrice there with appointment and always had to wait more than an hour. Probably would prefer any other medical centre despite liking the doc there.

This medical centre is a joke. I book an appointment with Dr Karen Wang and after 40 minutes I called to receptionist she said she won’t call you because you did seen her in last 12 months. You saw her last time in 2020. I said why you did not mentioned this while I was booking an appointment she said sorry for the system error. Unfortunately you can get appointment with her. Seriously!! What a joke !

After couple of visit for injection I found that the pensioners’s time is not important for them, and they are not polite at all. I had injection every two weeks and every week with appointment or with out appointment I have to wait more than 2 hours because doctor wants to visit me first!!! For immunotherapy in all other clinics the doctor just visits me one time and other times I went to nurse without visiting doctor, because specialist give the time schedule with doze of medicine and don’t need to visit other doctor. Other things they are not clean and professional at all for example they use the band aid which has been dropped on the floor!!! Or they forget to thick my immunotherapy schedule or when I wanted to take my medicine they didn’t give me cold bag and when I asked them they told me it’s ok and I said it’s not!!! You can go and buy they said and I told just give me the gold bag which I bring my medicine with that one one month ago and then they gave me!!! Not recommended at all...

made a review about being treated horribly by this place. they were so rude, an hour late on my appointment, and the doctor Vi Tran made me leave her office in tears. they then replied to this review saying to call and sort it out, nobody picked up any of my multiple calls. then deleted the review. thank you argyle street medical centre! i truly wish i could leave stars in the negatives. this place has made me scared to visit any doctor.

Always waiting time is more than an one and half hour though you booked the appointment.I have experienced this in all my visits. They will not consider if you have any urgent circumstances and always the reception team says doctor is running late an hour and your are very close to your appointment.very bad experience, we have to take work leave if you want to attend doctor’s appointment here in This Center.

We have visited for Dr Suciladevi Thaninayagham, never expected this kind of experience. First of all she is too busy for attending phone calls during any patient visit. Most surprising thing, she prescribed 1 medicine which is out of market, can't get in medicine pharmacy. She also provided referral letter with different patient name. How come a doctor be so irresponsible. Pathetic doctor, please do avoid!

I had such a bad experience at argyle medical centre. The worst GP in Australia I had severe bacterial infection I did my RAT at centre it was negative but still while checking my throat she told me not breathe on her. This does not end here she told me I cannot give you antibiotics I think it’s just a viral and told me to have just Panadol. When I came back home I was in high fever and my throat was so swollen that I cannot eat food I was crying in pain whole night then next morning I went another doctor and he told me it was a bacterial infection and gave antibiotics and now I feel better please I request to take a strict action again Dr Sucila Thaninayagham.

if i could give 0 or minus for this center i would but google wont allow. first of all they wont inform patients about their appointment neither by email nor by text. Secondly, if you book appointment at 2 pm you will be waiting until 5 pm for check up and they wont apologies about that. if you are wondering if this is the first time no you are wrong, same happens every time when i visit the center. If you happen to book phone consultation in the morning then they might call you in the evening. there is big possibility that they would never call you. please do not ask them about the reason of this unprofessional behavior, you will receive a very rude answer or they might hang up your call.. please avoid this place if you have any options.

Great Doctors. Dr Kaye Xu is the best, very caring, empathetic, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Her diligence and attention to detail is beyond to next level. I've never had an issue, on-line booking is easy, receptionists are always polite. Very happy

Worst planned medical centre I have ever seen in Sydney. Poor management, staff is so rude. They don’t even know the difference between giving priority to patients who have booked appointments over walk-in appointments!!! Recently had to wait for more than 1 hour for pre booked appointment. I wish there was 0 rating on google reviews!!! Argyle medical centre don’t deserve even 1 rating!!! Please note this review is not for GP we are really happy with Dr Siraj. It is just receptionist needs better training.

I have always found this center effective and efficient, if you have booked a prior appointment. Nurses here are prompt. Dr.Siraj is one of the star Doctors. Receptionist , I think can be a bit more polite and pleasant.

The receptionists are extremely rude and cut you off while you are speaking on the phone. I completely understand that they are super busy and it can be stressful, however it is not acceptable for them to be so rude to patients. Every interaction i've had with the reception has been HORRIBLE.

I am super disappointed at their service. Two days in a row I have had such unpleasant experiences. Day one, this lady doctor is extremely rude and unprofessional. I was just sitting there explaining my health issues and she very rudely asked me to keep mum and not speak until asked to. She did not give any proper diagnosis and said 50 50 chance it's covid. She continued to say that if my immunity is strong I will be fine, if not then I will naturally visit again . What sort of professional behaviour is this ? If this is how doctors are to conduct themselves then I rather not go to any. Also such lame diagnosis! I wonder if she has studied her curriculum well enough. Day 2 I book an appointment again but this time with a preferred doctor who i had good experience with in the past and the receptionist screws up my booking. She said we have shifted you to another doctor who will see you in a minute. The new doctor never sees me in a minute, the minute was one hour long. I mean what the hell is wrong with the overall management here ? No courtesy to be proactive. You guys put up a board requesting to be treated respectfully. How about treating customers with respect ? Ever paid heed to that thought ? Last but not the least a receptionist on day 1 was very rude too. Since I was waiting for such long time, I followed up with her 4 to 5 times. She got annoyed towards the end saying "I am doing my trainings right now, but anyways I will still help you". I mean what ?? Your trainings I hope are teaching you to treat customers with respect!!

My GP Kaye Xu is obsolutely patient and kind, more important is that she truely takes care of our family's health. She is the only one always on time when I made the oppointment! She is the best GP I have ever met in Sydney. The only frustration in this medical center is the reception. Otherwise, I will rate 5.

I had booked telehealth through 'Easyvisit' app which apparently allows me to book a time for telehealth call. And surprise, I get a call right at the booked time 10.30 am. to make the payment for telehealth call (given the appointment was for my dad on visitor visa). However, the doctor calls me at 6.30 pm. After 8 hours ! I did ask the reception at 10.30 on when should I expect the call to which i was told anytime before 5 pm. how good is that? Now, my question is, do I have to sit whole day waiting for the call? What's the point in making time slots available to book for telehealth if I have to wait 8 hours to receive the call? I would've booked the appointment coz I need to sort my priorities for the day, is it not very evident? Poor show.

Absolutely disgusting if I could rate 0. I was told to wait 30 mins for any doctor to review my blood test result, but it turn to 145mins as all patients who had an appointment need 30-40mins to do various tests. The receptionist kept giving wrong information to new walk-in people and informed them that the waiting time is 40 mins while 2 patients including me were waiting for 145-150 mins. Such a joke! The doctor was even wrose, for that doctor assigned to me, she was complaining about me to keep asking how long should I need to wait for...imagine if I have some server illnesses, for the fk sake 2 hours waiting, I would probably die. Her attitude was also bad as she showed impatience when she talked to me. Please don't go!

My parents started seen Dr Kaye Xu since 2019, they felt so lucky to meet her and I was referred by my mum , now my whole family are her loyalty patients! I’m so grateful that having her as our family GP.She helped us chasing up all relevant documents which received by hospital prior to my dad ‘s kidney stone surgery. She also visited us after dad’s surgery in her personal time. She is an excellent GP! Very friendly, professional, thorough and caring! 10/10 I would recommend.

UPDATE: I Never ended up getting a telehealth call. I did manage to call the medical centre successfully and was told that even though you need to select a time on the easy visit app, doctors have to prioritise the patients inside the medical centre to get them out as fast as possible and then they will call you. At least that is what the receptionist told me. I thought ahead and made another telehealth appt with a different medical centre and the doctor called me 15 minutes BEFORE the scheduled time. There is no excuse for how I was treated by Argyle st Medical Centre. Absolutely appalling! Walk in appts are usually pretty good however since Covid has a presence everywhere in Western and SW Sydney right now, I decided to call to make a telehealth appt for my son. I could not for the life of me get through on the phone so I went online to make an appt with my GP. I booked the appt for 11:20am. It's now 13:42 as I write this and I'm STILL waiting for a phone call. I have tried calling the medical centre numerous times to find out what is going on but the phone is constantly engaged. At one point I wasn't even sure the centre was open. I thought maybe they were dealing with a positive case and were closed for cleaning or something so I called argyle st pharmacy to ask THEM if the medical centre was open. They told me it was but they were busy on the phones a lot. I'm incredibly disappointed at the handling of the business and the lack of communication to patients/clients. I may even find a different GP from here on out. My Doctor is good but the running of the place right now is ridiculous.

Medical centre just money orientated, misinformed, called the clinic informed them that I was running late as I was travelling from a 30 minutes away, is it ok or should I not come, they said it's ok come, when I reached the clinic, they said aww your late, I said look I'm on crutches, it's not easy for me to commute, and they started to make excuses, I told them look I called in before I came in, then they said you need covid test to be done prior to coming, I said you never informed me before, luckily I had a recent test done showed them, with nothing much left they said now your 40 minutes late I'm like coz I'm talking to you guys now it's gone late, since it was insurance appointment, they made easy money without seeing the patient and more then that being sick and not able to seat properly I had to do such a long commute for an appointment, not worth in the end, I'm praying that this doesn't happen to any of them or their family members, amen

Argyle street Medical centre has been providing excellent medical care to the Parramatta area. It is still a bulk billing surgery. Seriously don’t understand why people are complaining and yet still coming to the medical centre for services. If you don’t like the place, the doctor, the receptionist or whatever, why not go to another medical centre that can meet your high expectations. Let Argyle street team serve patients who appreciate their work.

I had the worst experience visiting gp Dr. Leela Mendis. She doesn't seem to know anything and and without proper diagnosis she assumes or presumptuously concludes. She makes patients feel sicker than they actually are. I mean big mistake consulting her. I should have stuck with my normal gp at another clinic although far from my home who is much better, smarter and knows the job better than this. I went to two other gps and turns out it wasnt at all as bad as Dr. Leela said. Wouldn't recommend this place as they're highly unprofessional and only care about claiming money from medicare. I waited for an hour atleast in their lounge and all I heard the receptionists talk was about medicare, claiming money and all. I've never seen such money-minded staffs ever. The doctor was making me feel uncomfortable with her attitude, behavior and was wearing kitchen gloves at the clinic. She was on her phone most of the time and I'm pretty sure she used all her personal connections as referral specialists! I would give them zero rating if that was an option. Terrible experience and unprofessional people. No wonder you have such bad ratings and reviews on Google! Second time worst experience - The receptionists are so rude and irresponsible. As usual never picks up the phone, and i walked in and the rude lady in the reception today said our phones didn't ring and when I showed her my call logs, she said oh our phones are not working for days and we don't want to take people in anymore today. Her daughter was sitting right next to her watching this. Nice attitude to teach your kids. Honestly, it's a shame health practices have such obnoxious staffs. This place needs to be reported to some board for bad service.

Very poorly managed practise. I walked-in for a flu shot today and was informed by the receptionist that I can see Dr.Kamal Siddiqui in few mins. But even after waiting for more than 40 mins, the doctor never called me and when checked with the receptionist, the receptionist told that I've been waiting only for 4 mins. On stating my arrival and booking time, the receptionist mentioned that the doctor has shuffled the appointment and hence the new waiting time. We frequently followed up with the receptionist but was repeatedly promised that the doctor will call me in a very short time and that the receptionist has sent a message to the doctor. But nothing happened. When asked if my appointment can be changed to a different doctor, the receptionist mentioned that the doctor has opened my file and hence will not be able to change. This is highly unexpected and very unprofessional as I was never informed regarding the shuffling - No communication from the practise. Will never recommend this practise.

My wife booked appointment with Dr Sucila Thaninayagham. Appointment at 12:10PM on 23/09/2023. Because our family doctor is not working on Saturday. My wife arrived around 11:40AM. I came later. Approaching 12:00 PM my wife checked with the receptionist how many people in front of her. The receptionist said my wife is next on the list. But we saw the doctor kept on taking other people into her practice room. Sometimes she took 1 person into her practice room whilst she took another person into another room (next to her room). My wife was not called Until 12:40PM. In total my wife checked with receptionist 2x and i checked with receptionist 1x. All the time the receptionist said my wife was next on the list.We then decided to leave. Tell the receptionist to cancel my wife appointment. I told him that they must not charge us. As a matter of fact we lost our time in vain. Worst experience ever.

I see this is a recurring issue already, so I'll expect to receive in reply the same platitudes given to others with similar complaints. To the best of my understanding, the reason for booking appointment and for stating it's duration is to be seen at the scheduled time or a time very close to that. This is not the case with this Medical Centre. On all the occasions I have visited, not once was I attended to within a reasonable time of the booked time. Sometimes, the wait time exceeds an hour. The Centre should do something about this as patients equally have plans. Perhaps, if walk-ins are prioritised, the Centre should clearly say so. In that case, we all can stop booking appointments.

I've called to the Medical Centre to confirm my booking for my Pfizer vaccination because they never give any information or confirmation to their patients, hold the phone waited for one hour, finally someone pickup the phone, at first I was told my booking wasn't there, after I asked her to check again, her reply was 'yes" then ruched to hang up my phone, but actually I have more questions would like to ask, but I've got cut off. Staff is not professional at all, don't excuse because they are very busy, have thousands of calls per day, etc.... Will never recommend Argyle Street Medical Centre to anyone in the future !!!

the receptionist was just absolutely rude. Considering that a child who was equally as rude. And I quotate “she is a child what do you want”… ok That customer service while trying to get over this pandemic? In a medical Center? Was that necessary? Plus not to mention the Asian ladies in from of me being served while the receptionist was on the phone. Double standards. I’m sure the MCNSW will love to hear this story. The rating of the practice is well below standards and quite frankly I don’t know how a practice like this is not yet shut.

Argyle Street Medical Centre is one of the best medical centres in the local community. GPs and nurses are providing full range of medical services professionally with their multi languages skills. Reception staff are experienced with managing the operation to ensure patients’ queries are responded timely. The centre has introduced on-site services including limited range of image and physio and pathology test next door with their strong network with other medical service providers.

I am extremely disappointed. I booked a telehealth appointment and wasn't ever contacted - it never even happened. I couldn't attend a scheduled appointment because the lack of communication. No call or message to notify me if my appointment was on. I tried ringing up the service phone, I was on hold for 40 whole minutes, hung up after 50 minutes. This is ridiculous. I'm sure it is quite busy, and understand often patient appointments extend longer but the time many patients wait or in my case completely miss an appointment is appalling. I have never witnessed this delay in other medical centres, the most delay I've experienced was 40 minutes to an hour. Even a few times going in person I had to wait a solid 2 hours, or a booked appointment gets pushed by 2 hours even. Please coordinate your scheduling better and communicate if it is busy, so at least I know to book elsewhere or reschedule.

I booked at 8am, literally should have been the first patient, i still somehow had to wait for 3 people before me. I don't think booking does anything, they just put you in line when you get there. I've waited for 1.5 hours after an appointment time to have doctors wave me off after talking for less than 2 minutes.

I never had any problems with booking, waiting for my appointment, and even with a walk-in appointment during my first time attending the Argyle Med Centre. Staff were always accommodating and nice. Even telephone inquiries are handled very well and requests like faxing prescripts are acted upon promptly. My doctor since 2020, Dr Ganesh is an outstanding GP and very thorough in discussing my concerns both thru teleconsult or person-to-person consult. I highly recommend him.

I’m still waiting for a call for my pathology results (already booked). I’ve called and emailed. As a fellow receptionist this is not a good look on the clinic. Please make sure to follow up with patients’ consultations, especially in regards about their pathology results. Reception at the counter were sweet so 2 stars for that.

I have always found the reception staff to be pleasant and helpful. The doctors are absolutely lovely, so thorough with their collection of information to get to the cause of your medical problem. Sometimes, there is long waits but it’s because not all patients are a quick in and out. I certainly would not want to be rushed and something missed that could help me get well. I’m sure no one else would appreciate that either. I will continue to visit this practice because of the care they give.

As a long-time patient at Argyle Medical Centre, particularly under the care of Dr. Ganesh, my experience has been consistently positive. Dr. Ganesh's expertise and genuine concern for my well-being have been invaluable. The entire staff, from receptionists to nurses, has been exceptionally helpful whenever I've faced health issues, reflecting a commitment to patient care that goes beyond expectation. Grateful for the exceptional service and support I've received over the years.

We have visited the facility as per our appointment and waiting in the queue for 2 hours and when we enquired for the delay.. They forgot to check mark us in the queue even though we have came much earlier had to endure wait because of someone inefficiency to update. What action will be taken for such lapse? If we are late to appointment they won't consider then how this has to be addressed. Simple way of escaping is the one who missed is in meeting. It is really frustrating experience.

Sorry to anyone who had a unfavorable experience. In my case I've dealt with these guys in Sydney since 2014 on and off. Found Dr Kamal extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Consultations always run in a smooth and timely manner. Recent interaction with reception was great! Eliza was able to fast track and retrieve details in a split second to book a new appointment. No pressure. Professional and friendly staff. The medical centre of course is not very large hence it's easy for people to get impatient during busy periods. But definitely an amazing place to stop by!

They should try thinking other options if outside specialists appointments are not found early than 4 weeks , someone can die in 4 weeks, Secondly, they should include basic eating habbits for patient, looks like they just beleive in doing tests only and get you out in 5 minutes,

Was wondering how can they run so late, turns out the doctor has been calling the patient...
