We had a ton of fun!! It was a hot day (July 11) and the cold water felt amazing. You could definitely just go in shorts and a T-shirt this time a year, but beware the sun is super strong. The Lost Paddle crew ensured we had lots of fun while remaining safe. Our guide, Jude, was very friendly, laid back (which is always appreciated when people might be nervous), and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. We bought the photos at the end, they were pretty reasonably priced. I highly recommend this rafting outfit!

Me and my two sons did an overnight trip with Lost Paddle. The office staff was great and answered all of my questions, and the guide (Taylor Sallee) was just excellent. Taylor takes safety and preparedness very seriously, and we felt well looked after the entire time. I highly recommend this rafting company and the multi-day tours they offer.

What a HOOOOOOOT! Tyler (& Amery) were the best guides. We were three 40+ yr old women, all novices. Tyler had studied the history of the hills, the vegetation, the region, dad jokes, and was SO KNOWLEDGEABLE of rafting and the Royal Gorge. It made the trip all the more entertaining. Did we fall out of the boat? Yes. Was it scary? Not with Tyler/Amery there! In fact it was just the opposite, all of our fears were replaced with big smiles and great stories. Best adventure. Do a full day!!!!!

We had friends recommend The Lost Paddle to us and we are so glad they did! We did the half day Big Horn Sheep Canyon trip for our family of four. Our youngest is 12 so it was the best fit for us. Tyler, our guide, was exceptional. He kept us very safe and shared tons of history about the area. He made certain the kids had a lot of fun experiences throughout the trip. Their prices are also much better than their competitors. Do yourself a favor and book your trip through them!

Amazing! We had a group of 5 and did the full-day trip. We hit rapids from class 2 all the way up to class 5. They were no joke. We stopped for lunch half way through, and continued on afterwards. The views of the cliffs surrounding us were incredible, especially going through the Royal Gorge and under the 1000ft suspension bridge. It was incredible! The guide was super awesome and knew exactly what to do. It was an experience we will never forget and I highly recommend it.

Did the Big Horn Sheep ride with my husband and three kids (6, 8, and 13). As we rode to our drop in spot, the male guide went over safety stuff and explained just how intense the river was that day (3,000 csf) but reassured us that as long as we followed the safety rules we would have a great day. I started to become very nervous about bringing our 6 year old on the trip after hearing this, however, as soon as we got on the river, our guide, Jocelyn, and owner Kelly did an AMAZING job and took all of that fear away. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The crew at lost paddle was absolutely amazing at prioritizing my children’s safety every second of the trip. I 10000% recommend them ESPECIALLY if you have smaller children.

Tyler is an amazing guide! He was extremely good at providing direction to our group of first time rafters. He also gave us a lot of information about the area and what we were seeing along the way. We were lucky to have a beautiful day on the river. The experience was amazing! Some parts were much more difficult than others but they were a lot of fun too. We will be back to ride again.

The Royal Gorge full day trip is so fun. The first half of the day is on calmer water which gives you an opportunity to learn from your guide about the river, paddling technique, & how to work as a team. Our guide Jacob was exceptional. Definitely made learning river safety & teamwork fun. Have had previous whitewater rafting guides that were good however Jacob outshined even them due to the fact he uses very few directional commands directing the raft mostly himself with ease. Taylor was the guide that went with the other group also very fun & professional.
