The best apartment at the best location.Friendly managers always happy to help you especially Melissa ,Nicolas and Bill. All front doors secured which is important thing for me.Amazing clubroom, fitness club, outdoor pool , ohh and fresh coffee :) Would love to buy unit if one day they will decide to sell it ;)

Great place! Super clean and friendly, no smokers and they are very serious about being responsible for your animal and the messes they can leave behind. Well organized, gym is AWESOME, pool is very nice a great place for kids to play and for parents to be able to relax. Management is great and always addresses issues timely. Maintenance staff is kind. If you wanna be in the middle of things without necessarily living in the city, this is a great place to stay.The T is /right/ there and the mall is a hop skip and a jump as well as various grocery stores and things, in the summer you could spend the whole day just walking from shops. Very great location.Danielle and Aly are great ladies, running the whole complex by themselves and who knows how many of us and the complaints or whatever we have they have to deal with on the regular and still manage to get it all done, even if it's not the sec after you request it to be done. Ive lived in a house with the landlord right next door who didn't address things as quickly as these ladies do.and the community is very much like a family, groups chatting in the dog park or having out in the common areas, it's really great to be a single person living alone but never really feeling alone or lonely.

The apartments are immaculate and so convenient. The only thing I love more than the amenities is the staff! Management is so helpful, responsive and friendly it’s uncommon in properties to have such kind people working. It truly is a gem of a place!

I've lived at the Ashby for over 3 years and, having lived in a number of apartment complexes, this is by far the best experience I've had. Friendly residents, and lovely amenities. Very dog friendly which is great for my pup. We haven't had many issues with the two different apartments I've lived in, but any requests have been taken care of promptly. It's really come to feel like home! Very lucky to have found such a beautiful residence in such a convenient area. Highly recommend!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Danielle the leasing manager is one of the most unpleasant people I have ever met. She will look to make problems for you. Many others have told me the same. They also charge you for anything they can, even if there are pre existing problems with the apartment. They are horrible with maintenance. There is also a ton of noise because of the trolly and the road near the mall. Finally, the whole place is infested with spotted lantern flies.

Just moved in about a week ago. Heather, from the leasing office was extremely friendly and took all of our questions and helped us have a smooth transition into our new apartment. The landscape here is beautiful! A lot of beautiful flowers and plants, especially in center pool area which is nice to have. Plenty of amenities that makes this place feel like home! Also, very clean apartments when you move in! Thank you to the Ashby Team for a great experience so far!

I wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude for the excelent services provided by your management company at Ashby at South Hills, especially Ally and Danielle. I had a wonderfull experience , and I am grateful for the efforts Ally and Danielle have put into making the Ashby a comfortable and enjoyable community. Furthermore , the level of communication and responsiveness from the management team has been outstanding. I also want to express my appreciation for the various community events and initiatives orginized by the management. I am grateful that I was part of this community.

We were living in 1400 building for about year and 8 months. Our experience can be different from yours. Overall it is truly 5 star rating. We never had any issues with management, maintenance, amenities or neighbors. Halls are clean, no smells or anything you could complain about. Every time we raised maintenance request - the guy was there next day. They do cleaning of the halls once or twice a week. Equipment in the gym in almost new condition. Always clean and I believe it is also because of the community that live there, people take care of that place and respect the rules. Majority of people that live there are seniors. They are very nice and welcoming. If we ever be back in Pittsburgh Ashby will be our choice number 1. I would like to thank management of Ashby for taking care of us. P.S. My living experience can be different from yours or others. I have made review based on my family’s experience with Ashby.

The Ashby is a great place to call home. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The complex is well kept and always clean, and it's very pet-friendly. The residents are kind and welcoming, creating a wonderful sense of community. Overall, my experience living here has been nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend!

AVOID THIS PLACE. I would stay away from this place like the plague! The people working in the office will try to get every penny out of you during and after your stay. The manager Danielle is HORRIBLE. She will try to charge you for anything she can. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything. Also many people have had problems with them taking more money than rent costs from your bank account. Do not live at the Ashby.
