Real Underrated. This place has some GOOD pizza! Must visit if you’re a pizza fan. Has cheap beer too and $1 off during happy hour. They also do slices now for pizza.

These guys tear it up and hit a homerun every time we come to Pittsburgh! This is my go to pizza place for years now. Great fluffy crust, sauce is excellent, and just the right amount of topping! I've bought this for groups of people on a few occasions now and everyone raves about how good it is! 100% will be back here and recommend.

Ordered on the Slice app and it was ready right on time. The large pepperoni pizza had the pepperoni under/mixed in with the cheese and I really prefer this! The pie is thinner crust and pretty good overall, although the crust is a little large. I ordered a side of fries and these were pretty disappointing. They were salted okay but very soggy/soft. I’m not sure how long they sat in a take out box but I want to say not long enough to have become that soft. Overall, it’s still a good shop, and I’d get a pie here again but avoid the fries if you’re getting take out.

Came here after work with my friend to grab some pizza and get a drink at the bar. Pizza was great, no complaints. However, the woman bartender was very rude and dismissive towards my friend and I. It started with her making backhanded comments about my friend and I’s age, and how we “probably don’t have any opinions” talking about the program that was on TV. We brushed off that weird comment and continued to order. We ordered amaretto sours, and the bartender continued to make unnecessary, unprompted comments about our drink order— how “one of those won’t get you f’d up” or “someone’s grandmother keeps amaretto on the shelves”. She then proceeded to make our drinks with over 3/4 sour mix and a little SPLASH of amaretto. Yeah, no wonder they won’t get us “f’d up”, she doesn’t know how to make one properly. I paid like $5 for a glass of lemonade essentially. She never checked back in with us afterwards and even ignored us for a while when we were trying to pay the tab to get out of her hellscape of a bar. Ultimately, she had no issue showing hospitality to any of the men, or women with boyfriends at the bar. I would recommend the pizza to anyone, but go get your drinks from someone more deserving.

The food here is fire. I ate their Tuscany Chicken pasta more than a few times. The bartender Bri is the best, always good vibes and the drinks are fast.

Ordered Delivery. They called and said my order was there. I ran down to front desk of my corporate building to pick it up. No delivery driver. Waited 10 minutes. Ran back up to get my phone. Message was left that driver was on the road waiting for me to come out and get it. I called back because we didn't see him. Was told it was my fault and was hung up on by manager. Then called back and was told he will be there in a few minutes. After 45 minutes passed and called again and was hung up on by the manager, the driver showed up, pull pizza out of trunk (on a one lane busy road in Pittsburgh) hand a cold pizza over to me and said its warm and ran off. Called back was told it was our fault that the pizza was not delivered correctly.

Has vegetarian options. Decent service. Very reasonably priced. However flavour is lacking in all items. We ordered garlic bread which was soft and cheesy but had barely any taste of garlic. Same with the vegetarian pizza, where the sauce barely had any seasonings or spices. The tiramisu was creamy but the coffee flavour was so dull.

Nice small place that's great for a late bite to eat. Friendly staff and quick service whether you're eating in or taking out. The pizza and wings were very well made and tasted great! Would definitely recommend if you're in the Pittsburgh area.

Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich online and it was awful with barely any sauce and no fries as mentioned on the menu. The kid who gave me my order tried to make me pay for it again and said that the check was still open. I had to explain to him that I cant place the order online unless I pay which left him confused and he then asked if I called. The place wasn't even busy yet no one would come help the kid and ultimately I told him I was taking the food because I had already paid for it online so he took a picture of my receipt with his phone, whatever that did.

Let start off with your rude receptionist after displaying how my food was and how it was cold and how it looked like a toddler made it she put me on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and called back and she immediately put me back on hold with out a word. The pizza was cold the buffalo fries where cold and the soda I paid for was wrong. I spent hundreds of dollars with this place over the years because they had great food and great service but never again after today. Even though it's no sweat off their back about one Customer leaving it's the point of them having no respect for my food.

I have had great experiences here and also just good ones. Consistently good pizza, with some fun options like having potato wedges on it; good fries; I would suggest this among pizza places.

Giving 3 stars the foods great no issue with that my issue is the one delivery driver Genoas has I don't know what country is from but the way he talks is rude I ordered the other night and I payed on my debit card once he arrived he got out the car with a cigarette and said you pay me cash tip now? Excuse me I thought he's just lucky I didn't punch him and this is not the first time I had the driver come to me with a rude tone he's also done it to my sister and friends when they ordered for delivery and he was the same way rude demanding a tip. He needs to learn how we talk in America cause it's not gonna be good for him next time I don't mind tipping drivers but when you demand it I want give one

Excellent pizza! While visiting downtown Pittsburgh with my family we decided to eat here on a whim, and it did not disappoint. Pizza came out in less than 10 minutes, the crust was soft and flavorful, the sauce was sweet and just the right amount. Good selection of beers as well. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!

This is definitely a bit of a dive bar, there's no denying that. But the food is solid. There is typically only one person usually working the bar and they handle most service related things. Although they do try to provide table service, the general expectation is that you order food and drinks at the bar. If you're at the bar, you'll get decent conversation and consistent service. If you're at a table, you'll get a decent bit of privacy and it's usually not too packed so you can feel free to be a bit rowdy and not have to worry about others around you. All in all, a solid place, with good food, cheap drinks, and friendly service.

Great pizza but one of the employees is super creepy. They have cat-called me (I'm a guy btw!) and my friends several times and consistently stares at people in an unsettling way. I cannot support this business until that person no longer works at this establishment as I and my friends no longer feel comfortable stepping foot into this pizza shop.

Great place for late night pizza! It was very loud there and the worker had a hard time hearing our phone order (we ended up with an XL after repeating medium multiple times). Mozzarella sticks were a mess in their container. Overall, delicious pizza that came with a yummy ranch sauce. Hope to be back someday.

We usually order from our local pizza place, but wanted to try something different. Figured we would try this place, but wasn't sure what to expect (pizza easy to get right...but even EASIER to get WRONG!) We were NOT disappointed and glad we decided to try. The pizza came relatively quickly and was hot fresh. Ordered extra cheese and there was a good amount of cheese on it. The dough, sauce and cheese are all very good. Perfect cook on the pizza as well. Cooked through, but not burnt. I recommend trying this pizza, if you haven't tried it yet.. We will DEFINITELY order again.

When in The Burgh - there are many options for the pizza craving masses. Well locals know that there's a spot not far from the mainstream hustle of Market Square that one can order up a most delectable pie - and sit at a quaint back area bar that is probably one of the best kept secrets of the metropolitan area. The slices here are the kind that make you want more with each bite. The pepperoni rolls are the crave that draws me to this out of the way spot every time though. The sauce they use here is stand alone amazing, but pair it with the rolls here and Man....it's worth finding this spot every time you're in the Burgh! The bar in the back is always the kinda place where you can get a cold draft beer or mixed drink and a conversation with a mix of locals that has always been a great time as well!

Good pizza, great gyro, fantastic cannoli, TERRIBLE wait times when I order in. I'm burning time by writing this while I wait for what's almost 20 minutes now for a gyro lunch special :/ would be a 5 star review, otherwise. Editing to update it was just over 20 minutes. It's a good thing I checked my order too, cause they missed me asking for feta.

This place actually exceeded my expectations. Pizza was not the best but still pretty good, but the chicken parmigiana hero (8-inch) was delightfully tasty, with the chicken being thin and tender and the bread toasted nicely. Decor could use an update but overall pretty solid place. I was full for hours after lol.

Ordered for delivery. The food was very delicious. Chicken wings were a little spicy, though the wings were going to be tossed in the garlic sauce. It was on the side. But over all visiting from out of state it was very good pizza.

Got cheesy breadsticks and a pizza, was just ok. Breadsticks were good, but not much cheese on them. Pizza was just ok

I was in state visiting and everything was closed late Sunday except this place and I have to say I don’t regret going here at all. Best pizza I’ve ever had! Sauce was so flavorful we ended up ordering 2 more pizzas. The lady at the bar had a packed room but was super attentive and patient.

This is why you ask a local where to go! We stopped here after the Browns game. It was super busy but you would never know because our bartender/server was a total pro. She got our drinks immediately and our (delicious) to-go pizza was ready before we even finished them! Definitely a hidden gem and will visit again if we are in town.

I ordered extra cheese and there was no extra cheese i was able to see the sauce and dough underneath! The food was cold and I’ve ordered from here before and it was delicious i guess it depends on who is working but i will not be ordering from here again i like consistency!

Friendly neighborhood bar and pizza shop. Paige the bartender/waitress is super nice and does an excellent job. Pizza is good and the grilled chicken salad is good. Great prices.

We really enjoyed this stop! Pizza was served piping hot, fresh and delicious! They even accommodated the menu well for our kids! This was a short walk from our hotel and very well worth it! Make the stop!

Despite lack of sufficient parking, their Pizzas were first class and arrived on time. Didn't have to wait forever. Highly recommended

Cooks play with their phones and don't wash their hands. Sounds like a health issue to me. Maybe the health department would straighten them out. Never going back there again. I also waited forever the man at the counter to stop looking at his phone and acknowledge me. No good.

Ordered a Large deluxe calzone which is 20.99 when it came it's small as hell I can just imagine how the small must be mini! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! #2 I got a Buffalo Garlic 24 piece jumbo wing that was so overcooked & you couldn't taste no flavor of the wings! Then my 2 hoagies were covered in oil for lord knows what reason made my sandwiches extra soft!! The driver is so rude & demanded that I give him a tip! Like wow really how dare you I paid almost 80 bucks on that food to get horrible food experience..DEFINITELY SPEND YOUR MONEY ON BETTER QUALITY & QUANTITY! I KNOW I WILL

Food was fine but what I didn’t expect was to get blatantly ignored when I went to pick it up. I was standing at the counter(only one there) while the man behind it ignored me while on his phone. It was clear he could hear me because every time I spoke he either looked up or made an expression. It took a good minute before I was acknowledged after calling out to him several times. Weird behavior.

Really enjoy their pizza. Extra cheese makes it perfect. (Few slices were taken before I could get a picture)

Pizza is great. This review is based on Genoa’s online ordering and Mobile App. Both look like they haven’t had an update since the 90’s. Payment system is not user friendly. I order from Genoa frequently enough to have an account on their website. Will still order pizza, but won’t alter review until these issues are updated to 2022 standards.

I like this place I really do but that was thee most meh bland tasteless pizza steak sub i ever sunk my teeth into. It wasn’t bad, it just had no real taste, the bun was nice and crispy. There pizza and wings are good here but if there was a 5 star rating for taste, that pizza steak sub would get a 2 at best.

Genoas is a great place for anybody looking for a great experience involving amazing food with very competitive drink prices, as well as a very welcoming environment to the customers. Everyone is friendly and the kitchen staff is amazing in what they do. The bartenders; Bri, Paige, Joe, Kristyna, Somer and Holly are quick, efficient and very welcoming to the customers and provide a fun experience for all involved. 100% recommend this place to anyone who visits or lives in Pittsburgh.

I ordered 35.00 worth of food. My mushroom pizza was great, no complaints. The 12 piece whole wing with wing dust, HORRIABLE. Literally, they cooked the wings and put them in the box, then dumped the wing dust on top. It just taste like salt, a total waste of money. DISSAPOINTING because I really like their wings, but it was horrible.

As an eatery, this place has amazing food and GREAT lunch deals. There is also an attached bar that has inexpensive drinks and a friendly atmosphere perfect for an after-work relaxation period. Bri and Paige are very attentive, very friendly, very funny, and make the place incredibly welcome. I have brought several friends by and would recommend it to anybody.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Called and ordered food, the person who answered was EXTREMELY rude. Was told 45 minute wait..no big deal everyone understands a rush in the business. Wait almost an hour and thirty minutes and call back to see where our food was and again was greeted by another extremely rude person saying we need to stand outside and wait another 20+ minutes to get it. NO THANKS.
