Extremely disappointed with how Morton’s has gone downhill. Last year I went there for my birthday dinner and they took our photo, had a candle on our dessert, and the service and food was excellent. Now, I made a reservation for my fiancé’s birthday and we had a completely different experience. First our waitress was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. We had majority of our meal with empty water glasses because she was not refilling them. She did not mention his birthday at all even though I put it in the reservation and she checked his ID, which has his birthday on it… When she talked to us it was as if we were a bother to her, when we did not complain or be rude to her at all. Our food took longer to come out than the other time I have been here. Once the food did arrive, the entrees were pretty good but the sides were lacking flavor that was different from the last time we were here. The restaurant was also only at like 25% capacity because it was a Wednesday night. My fiancé did not even want to stay for dessert on his birthday because we disliked the waitress so much. Honestly will not be returning to this restaurant or suggesting it to others. :(

Morton's Steak House is a must visit when you are in Pittsburgh. The steaks melt in your mouth, the staff is attentive, and the drinks are amazing! I highly recommend getting the creme brulee and espresso Martini to finish off your evening!

I’m really not trying to be a hype beast, but the bread and the Cajun Ribeye Steak were the best I’ve ever had. Maybe I am a yokel, but between bites, I had to take breaths like a swimmer as I could not fathom how a steak could taste so good. Also, my waitress Sarah made it all the better; excellent service and an even better conversationalist. If heaven has a steakhouse, this would be it.

Delicious. Wonderful dining experience. The meal was delicious. Steak cooked to perfection. Chicken Christopher was tasty also. That bacon steak though… if you are a lover of bacon I highly recommend it as an appetizer. Delicious.

Everything was absolutely spot-on! I came here with my seven year old son and we had an absolutely fantastic meal! Our appetizer was the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, I had the Cajun ribeye, my son had the 8 oz filet, and our side was the smoked Gouda and bacon potatoes au gratin. Everything was excellent, starting with the service. When they found out we were there for my birthday, they took our picture and then brought us a printed copy of it in a birthday card. Then there was the food. Not only were the flavors exceptional, but the seasoning was one hundred percent on point and the cook on our steaks was perfectly as ordered! We would definitely eat here again without hesitation. It is worth noting however, that despite being welcoming to kids, there was not a children's menu, in case that makes a difference to you. So my son loved his meal and cleaned his plate, but it was priced for a grown up.

Went here for our anniversary! Incredible service, waitstaff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was incredible. Pictured: bacon wrapped scallops, 16oz prime ribeye, lobster mac and cheese and the creme brûlée! Phenomenal experience!

For this to be a first time eating here the food was amazing and our server Owen's was amazing, very friendly and gave good ideas for main courses to eat. Very elegant and classy and romantic definitely will go back whether with some girlfriends or your significant other.

I came here for my dad's birthday after seeing the reviews. I made a reservation online and specified it was my dad's birthday. I saw they were giving personalized menu and photos so I fully expected that from them for a great dining experience. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I knew it was a bit off when the host asked us if we wanted a booth or a table. If they prepared for a birthday dinner, they would not have asked us. When I hinted at the host after the dinner that we were here for a birthday dinner, she didn't apology or given any care for it. Food was good. But the server missed our shrimp that was ordered so we had to remind them about it, didn't really bother to refill the drinks, or asked to see if I wanted another drink. Not a huge deal, but definitely not ideal. We also saw there was a red wine stain (picture). We couldn't see it at first because it was cleverly covered with their table set-up at first. It also wasn't our fault since we didn't order wine. Overall, the experience wasn't horrible, but definitely a forgettable one. People were nice, but the service was rather slow for a slow night. Bathroom was not clean. My dad had a great time, but I expected more than a regular dining experience especially for a special occasion, and when I'm spending $300+ for a dinner. Will not come back.

This is a 5+ restaurant. All the way from server to management was perfection. J. R and Lisa and Stephen and J. P. With the amazing ascot, were top notch!! The food amazing and the drinks to die for. Highly recommended!!!

First time dining at Morton's and it didn't disappoint. Everything we ordered was savory and simply delicious and the service was phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door and until the valet put us back in our car, the customer service team was on point, indeed. The best part of the experience for me was the key lime pie finale! OMG I've never had better!

I popped in one evening for a glass of wine at the bar and ended up getting decent service and seeing good food, so I stayed for some small bites. I sat at the bar on a weeknight and they were about half full. I tried their onion rings for my appetizer and they were really good, nicely battered, and came with a tasty sauce. Next up was to get their chop salad and it was decent, but it had a little too much wilted lettuce in it. The wine list is pretty decent… They have some nice by-the-glass selections for decent prices too.

If you want a exquisite steakhouse in the greatest area of Pittsburgh, look no further. The food, atmosphere, and - most importantly- the service is spectacular. My party ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly to our order, but a little plain for this caliber of restaurant. I may suggest a sauce or topper of your choice. The French onion soup was fantastic with a bountiful cheese mix, among the best I’ve had. As was our mac & cheese side which was amazing, I could eat a whole bowl of that.Dinners are served with a huge loaf of warm bread. Last, the service is excellent. All staff members we interacted with were gracious and kind; and they take care to keep a tidy rest room as well.

Great service and dinner options. Filet and salmon we're both fantastic. Visited for Valentine's day when there was a unique menu with many delicious options. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Joined the loyalty club before leaving as we plan to revisit soon!

Sat at the bar. Had an onion loaf and French onion soup to get the ball rolling. Main course , bone in 16 Oz cowboy steak w a pair of bacon wrapped sea scallops and a side of Au Gratin potatoes. Washed all that down w a few local IPA's.... ordered a double Espresso and made room for the creme brulee. When I left I said to myself.....if I always felt like this I'd never have to eat again!!!

Superb service in a classic steakhouse atmosphere. Steaks are served to perfection and the sides are wonderful. The wait staff is dedicated to service without being intrusive. They are diligent in anticipating your needs and treating you as a valued guest.

Probably stating the obvious but it was an amazing experience! Visited here for restaurant week and we got amazing tasting, fresh and delicious choices! Our waiter, Ryan was super friendly and attentive! I’d love to come back to try more!

Went for a birthday celebration.. very clean environment, inside was beautiful.. ordered ribeye with the bone in medium well, both steak that came was undercooked more like medium rear so we had to have it taken back to be redone and being that it was the same steak they carried back, it just didn't feel fresh anymore.. the drinks suppose to have salt on the rim but the whole drink tasted salty, my gf wanted to send it back but I took it instead.. my first experience wasn't the best but it's the 1 that will last.. they printed out a photograph for the birthday celebration and we also got lava cake on the house which was pretty nice of them but regarding the meal we really did not enjoy it.

I can’t express enough how wonderful it was to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary here! Each member of their staff is so genuine and sweet. It really felt like they were happy for us & celebrating with us, especially with personal touches like the photo card. The food was out of this world - we each had a filet, the parm truffle fries, and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella. Drinks & dessert were the cherry on top! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and out. It really is an experience and not just a dinner. We can’t wait to come back!

Always a solid choice I prefer Morton’s to Ruth’s Chris but that is my palate had a reservation and was a few minutes early they seated me by the bar as requested I had an extra dirty gin martini with blue cheese olives 10/10 got the Morton’s salad which is essentially a Cobb salad it was perfect amount of blue cheese bacon egg tomato’s not issues ordered the wagya filet medium rare it was delicious in taste however it had very little pink I was a tad disappointed but just my preference still ate it and didn’t complain with a side of spinach & mushrooms perfect the ambiance is always perfect a great mix of modern and elegant by not too much of either the staff was on point not to much but not too be found still would recommend and will go back!

Like Mortons. As a matter of fact, I often have my assistant purchase gift cards for my team for job well done. Naperville, IL consistently does a great job. Unfortunately had a rather poor experience at Mortons Pittsburgh downtown. Onion bread burnt black on the bottom; lobster bisque room temp, out of aged rib eye at 630 pm on a weeknight, really? And the worst part - MR steak first time came out close to well; 2nd time, a little better - like med well...overheard table adjacent to me, a 4 top, rare steak overdone. Such a huge disappointment!!!

I had dinner there tonight Sunday 11/26/2023. The service was great and very friendly. Steven the manager is the best. He goes out of his way to greet you. Plus him and I had a nice conversation. The food was great as always. I got the bone in ribeye 22oz the steak was tender and cooked perfect. I had the sundae it was very good to. I will be back in town around Christmas time and I will be back to have dinner at Morton's Steakhouse.
