Absolutely rude staff! Twice I've been served about an older lady with a grey bob and she's be so disrespectful to me. Just went in to pick up this 2 lovely candles, took them up to the till and said 'I would like to buy these, there's no price tag on them. How much are they?'. She replied 'Really expensive' and glared at me. I replied 'Well how much are they?'. She paused for a bit then said '£9.95 each'. I said I would leave it as £20 for 2 candles seems a lot and I felt like she was making up the price because I'm young. There were similar candle next to them which was £4 each. This isn't the first time she's been rude to me about prices. Will not be returning in future. Trying to support small business and this is how they treat young people. Customers service is dead nowadays.

Mistakes happen. It doesn't matter how organised you are. So we turned up for Nearly Elton, and our booking was wrong. At one point we ordered drinks, and that was forgotten! So why the 5 stars? Because the staff were really apologetic, lovely, kind and welcoming (even though they were having problems with their WiFi and iPads) and made up for the honest mistakes that were made. We had an excellent night, and the service matched it

I love this place... sadly, there aren't too many reasons to come into Yeovil nowadays, but this is definitely worth the trip. Lovely café, with friendly, attentive service, amazing cake selection, and a good range of savouries. The shop is delightful... always different things to see, reasonable prices, and stuff you won't find elsewhere. I frequently recommend this place to girlfriends .

Wonderful, quirky atmosphere inside a vintage/independent maker shop. I love this place! Such good selection of really yummy cakes that you can't find elsewhere. Delicious hot chocolate. Very friendly staff. Sadly I can't give 5 stars. Unfortunately, when myself and my dad had gone up to the counter to look at the cake selection, we were advised that it was table service only on that particular day and that someone would be along soon to take our order. We waited a while before being served. Granted it was a busy Saturday and there only seemed to be one person taking orders. The wait for our order was not too bad at all once it had been taken. It was just that initial wait that let the side down.

Today I took my grandma for afternoon tea at the emporium, it was so so wonderful. The food was so incredible and delicious, a very good amount, so well presented my grandma loved it. The place itself is very beautiful, lots of seating and gorgeous decor, the staff are so kind and nice, make you feel very comfortable. A very chill atmosphere, all round amazing. Thank you to the team at the emporium

Fantastic service and food for a baby shower party. If you're looking for a well catered for afternoon tea party look no further as The Emporium delivers in their quirky cafe tucked away within the various shops. I had arranged a small gathering for a baby shower aiming for a relaxed and understated celebration which is exactly what I got. They even allowed me to decorate beforehand ( no confetti for obvious reasons). You'll be looked after by a group or staff who will try their best to fulfill any request. Safe to say I will be returning. Thankyou Emporium!

Had a lovely time looking around the fantastic Emporium Tuesday morning. It really is worth a visit. Then treat yourself with a drink and cake. They had lots of ideas for Christmas presents.

Great place , went here to look at buying dollhouse items, but found so much more, including antiques, vintage, quirky items. Staff were amazingly helpful.

This is a real treasure trove of a store, a unique mixture of collections, original designs and vintage. Lovely Cafe restaurant with some beautiful cakes to tempt you while shopping. Definately find this shop its well worth a visit.

We dropped mum and son at the back of the Emporium so they could walk into the cafe without using any stairs. Great food but prices have increased. Lots of interesting antiques and more up to date treasures. One niggle is the toilets are downstairs and hard to use if you are with anyone with mobility issues. Downstairs was reached by collecting my son and mum and dropping them out at the front of the building in quite a busy street. The toilet is up a step and quite small for anyone in a wheelchair.

The most gorgeous and unique place! Filled with so many amazing independent sellers and supporting local creators! We go all the time for shopping, dining and live music. I’ve attended events with my father who is disabled and the staff in the cafe (Julie especially) were so attentive and made sure we had suitable access. The food and cocktails are to die for! We love the Emporium! 😍

We love the Emporium Cafe but the last two times I was let down with a very greasy omelette, burnt mushrooms and burnt sausages. It's still one of our favourite places , hopefully it won't happen again.
