Nice venue. Beware that many of the positive reviews given are for the high end Sanctuary Resort which are $500/night, and not fit the lessor caliber Worldmark units. Note that dog friendliness is discriminatory. No AC and windows will need to be closed to keep out the smoke from cigarettes and weed. Beds and furniture are not hard and not comfortable. While adjacent to a beach it is not a swimmers beach. No lifeguards and the current is too strong for swimming. This part of the dunes is popular with paragliders. Sunsets are rare because of a heavy marine layer.

Great location at Marina Dunes - literally on the beach - a few miles north of Monterey. Spacious rooms with full kitchen, washer & dryer, full size fridge w/ice maker. Pots and pans and spices included. Comfortable beds. Nicely appointed inside and out. Barbecue grill for each unit. Centrally located swimming pool with a large hot tub. Chairs provided overlooking an amazing view of the Pacific. What's not to love?

Awesome location. Excellent property. Well appointed and comfortable condo newly updated, very nice. The pool and hot tub area is large and offers a ocean view with the beach walk a must take. Exceptional restaurant on property, no driving required. A definite, will return.

We love this property. The staff works hard and the property is well kept. The only issue we have had is people bring dogs onto the lawn and they do not clean up. Dogs are not allowed on WM properties unless they are ADA approved service dogs. Worse, to not clean after the pets when we, the owners walk on the lawn. The Sanctuary does allow pets so I realize it is tricky. But a WM review on their site talks about their enjoyable stay with 2 furry friends. So I do know that this is monitored on behalf of its owners.

We have stayed here twice now. The location is fantastic, but the staff is very confused. You see this timeshare location is shared with another company. The confusion is the different rules depending on which place you are staying. We walked to the lobby to get ice. The Worldmark employee told us he would be right back, so we waited outside the lobby for 20 minutes. My husband went in and asked where the employee with the ice went and the front desk didn't know. She called him and couldn't reach him, when he called back, he told her he had gone to the room to drop off the ice. She told him we were waiting, so he then left where he was, brought the ice to us and then followed us back to the room, so he could light the BBQ, because it is a safety issue for us to try and light it... The people staying above us, were very noisy and found it necessary to be very active after 11:00pm and before 6:00am. We lost power one evening and we were able to get a few battery operated lanterns. Thankfully it really is such a beautiful location.

A 2 bedroom is perfect for 4 people. Loved our location. Looking out toward ocean. A must visit at least once. Great birthday gift for husband. Bring food because eating out can get expensive.

This location is known as Sanctuary and it totally describes the vibe and settings of the resort. Put this on your bucket list!

This is our first time staying at this location. It is a nice cozy place to stay. Its really close to the beach. They have a small playground for the kids. The jacuzzi and pool are outdoors. There is no gym or game room at this property. My husband and my kids like it. It's a perfect size for our family. My daughter wants to come back again when its not so cold and windy so she can enjoy the pool at night time. We drove from the bay area so its a great location for us to come back to. It's close to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Located on the beach at Marina CA with walk-out access to the sand, 2 bed, 2 bath apartment-style rooms with full kitchens and dinettes, a balcony with an outdoor barbeque unit. Two-minute drive to Super Walmart, restaurants, and five minutes from Kohl's, Target, Best Buy, REI, Chipotle and lots more retail outlets and food. Highly recommend!

We stayed here as a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 young children. The location is absolutely perfect as it is literally minutes from the beach. The rooms are a great size and provide families with fully equipped kitchen, which is convenient. We did find certain areas of the rooms uncleaned and we had a few spiders around throughout our stay. I appreciated that the neighbors didn't make excessive noise and that in particular is very important to me. The only negative is during room cleaning, staff were not mindful of how much noise they were making and for about 3 hours between 1 and 3 (which is typically rest time hours) there was loud banging, moving of furniture, cleaning, and of course talking loudly, which disturbed us. I would recommend for staff to be more mindful of their guests as this is a retreat and meant to be relaxing.

Perfect location for that area. Better furniture than most Worldmark resorts. Beds almost always comfy. Chilly though.

Right on the beach. Service is very good. Rooms are clean. Wifi requires the owner's number and billing zip code (it allows 4 free devices, the max of 10 devices for 10 days costs $16). Shopping (Walmart, Costco, Target) is nearby. 20 minute drive to Monterey and Carmel. Weather is mostly cloudy.

Nice place to come on the coast. They supply wood every night on the beach and light a fire 🔥 in fire pits in several locations...How cool is that??? Many thanks once again for the gentlemen who lit the fires every nite and warmed up numerous people!!

So close to the ocean. Easy access. Nice 2 bedroom units. The staff is so nice and willing to help.
