We went for the first time after reading all the great reviews and sadly we were greatly disappointed. We are sharing our experience with no intention to hurt the business in anyway, we understand that some businesses have a rough day and it might have been one of those. We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken and around 20 minutes more to get our dishes. The vegetable salad starter was blend and unfortunately had a dead fly in it. Our main dishes came lukewarm and parts of it were completely rare (we asked for medium-well). Service was almost non existent since the restaurant was completely full and only two personal were attending the tables. We had great expectations for this almost mythical place in Barcelona, but the experience was very disappointing.

First thing when i got inside i said. Oh nice a butchery. But i got amazed by the fact they will cook your meat there in their bbq and sit at their restaurant to enjoy the meat i selected. Quality of beef, lamb, chickens is 10 out of 10. Grass fed, organic, free range. Raw milk cheese, honey from different trees and sources. All coming from the pirinees. If you like top quality animal products i can risk to say one of the best places you will find in Barcelona. Service really good, welcomy and explain everything

My first choice meat restaurant and butchers in Barcelona. Quality is unsurpassed. You can taste the difference as their produce has been carefully hand picked from local sources. The dining experience never disappoints and the hosts are incredibly warm and generous. A must - go for eating out with friends or if you are preparing a meat dish or barbecue grill.

I will return as I would like to try other dishes. This time I went because this was a place with a nice rating, nice pictures of meat, and it was open at 7pm ☺️ I choose a great costeleton and they help me choose it. You go to the butcher part and they cut it for you. They wait it and you pay 10 extra euros for starters and stuff. They charged me eleven instead of the 10€. Nobody explained that to me. I don’t saw the menu as when I entered I said I wanted the choteleton, they explained the process, so I trusted and didn’t look at the menu. When I chose spinach as one of the side dishes no one explained that one was more expensive. And I don’t like these king of things. If they say it’s 10€ it’s ten, if they should have charged 11€ but they didn’t let me know about that, it’s their fault and they should be responsible for that. The customer should never have to pay for your incorrect information giving. The meat lacked seasoning, but they bring the salt to the table so it is ok. I asked for medium rare and I got medium well. The bread was not fresh also. It is a bit expensive but the taste was good and I plan on trying other dishes like the lamb. Oh and the salad starter it’s really nhe… not awful. But ok And they don’t have beer on tap, that sucks

It is a butcher but has its restaurant. Very delicious. We ordered olives, beef and chicken burgers. The burgers came without buns, and with a lot of meat. The chicken was very juicy. With the main dish 2 sides can be ordered. Fried eggplants with honey were yummy 😋

Outstanding experience. It’s incredible to be able to find such good meat in such great prices. The atmosphere was great, the staff was so polite and helpful and the food was delightful. We will return and if we lived in Barcelona this would be our second home.

This is a place if you love to eat meat. All kind of different choices of meat cooked in perfect way. The potion is huge. We ordered grill platter for two and end up with the amount of food for four people lol side dishes were great too. The ambience is very cute so good for a date but they got lots of big groups too, so works for all occasions. They sell prepared food, dessert and wines to go also. Very friendly and fluent in English. Good place to check out.

Fun restaurant. Has traditional menu of starters and entrees with benefit of going up to the butcher counter to pick out your own meat if you want. We had steak tartar, Russian salad, and for our mains, we picked out beef from behind the butcher counter. They lightly cook it and then bring it to the table with a hot seating pan to finish it off. Very fun concept. A little overwhelming ordering at the butcher counter but we had a local with us to make it easy. If you decide to only order from the menu tho, you won’t be disappointed.

I loved it! Good food, super friendly and helpful personnel, detailed menus with plenty of options. Also a wide variety of side dishes and one daily side dish that you have to ask the waiter about. Each meat ordered comes with salad and two other side dishes at your own choice. 27 euros for a beef steak, salad, two side dishes and a Cola. Everything was so tasty and so nicely balanced that I had no more room for dessert. The tragedy..

Very nice restaurant for fans of meat. It's a plus if you could get a table outside in the "small garden ". I wished the beefsteak and the pork T-bone were a little bit hotter. It's getting cold quickly after arrived. Anyway we really enjoyed our dinner.

Wonderful place for dinner. With a well selected variety of tapas and dishes. Everything was very tasty. The service was friendly and adequate. Totally would love to come back if in Barcelona.

Started with a cold onion soup which was unique and lovely. The slow cooked shoulder of lamb was of good quality and prepared extremely well. Ended with an apple crumble and a basque cheesecake which rounded up the meal very well.

We visited Pirineu En Boca for dinner. The service was personal and charming. We could have wished for a little more information about the food, but it didn't take anything away from the experience. The food was great and there was plenty of it! I tried the baked lamb and enjoying every bite of it. I would definitely come back here to try the other dishes!

Nice restaurant with a good choice of different meats. Very different to see the butchery as you walk in to a cosy but nice esthetic. The spinach soup was delicious to start, very flavourful. The steak was cooked perfect to my liking and seasoned well. Good value for money with the meal coming with soup, main and two sides. The pudding was a nice close to the meal and service was great. I had a wonderful experience, I highly recommend with an excellent selection of food wine, and cheese cake was all Wow. Service very friendly and helpful. Diana the owner speaks perfect English, extremely kind and helpful and made our experience unforgettable. Thanks we loved our dinner👍 will repeat and recommend Excellent location and atmosphere!

Has a lovely lunch at this place! We went around 12:30 and it wasn’t crowded. We loved the chicken nuggets, thyme ice cream and apple crumble. They made apple soup on the day at it tasted amazing. Great option if you’re around city center.
