Only €20 for the family to enter and we bought tickets on site. Bring plenty of water if it's sunny out because there's not much shade in the wide open ruins. Info plaques all around help give more details as to what you're looking at. I think having a guide would be worth it as they're usually great at explaining it all and provide more details. Parking to get to the site is easy to find and there are plenty of restaurants around for a meal or just a gelato. Kids enjoyed that the space was open so they could roam while we took more time admiring the temples. Overall a great experience to see Greek ruins in Italy and how they've been preserved. We'll be back to check everything out again.

A must see! Spectacular well preserved temple and exciting ruins. Also not many people. Also strongly recommend a visit to Bar Anna just outside the exit- great service and reasonable price.

this is an amazing site some of it from 550bc, definitely worth a visit just to see the temples, we caught the train from salerno 35 mins about £2.50 each way, the entrance to the ruins is directly across the road from the station. lots of places to eat and drink after your visit.

The Park itself is great with good information and well laid out pathways to bring the less well preserved remains to life. The stunning temples are amazing. We only had around an hour and half to spare on our itinerary so could not visit the museum and it took over an hour to walk the site. There are supposed to be different tickets for the site; and the site plus the museum but the grumpy lady on the ticket sales was having none of that and would only offer the top price tickets. It is still worth the EUR12 entrance fee per person but I felt compelled to drop a star because it costs nothing to be polite and pleasant and these employees were rude and unpleasant

All I can say is this place needs to be put on your vacation itinerary, you just have to see it to understand, we visited before sun went down and took some awesome pictures...

Paestum has 3 wonderful Greek temples and the Tempio di Nettuno is one of them. Well preserved, situated in an large archeological park with both Greek and Roman ruins.

Ancient Greek and Roman ruins, its a place to go after reading up on it to understand details. There are some descriptions available in Italian and English too. It's a tour of around 1.5hrs.

An amazing experience. To see one but three temples is truly beyond words and to see one that is more complete than the acropolis in Greece is truly outstanding. A excellent day out for all

This was one of my favorite things to see in Rome so far. It was as amazing as what you might see in Rome or even Greece, but without the crowds of tourists

Windy day, and warm on a Free Sunday the First of the month. The site is magnificent, and the included museum Is polished. I was ready to pay more than the underpriced standard ticket fare. A great place, a good day.

What a wonderfully preserved piece of history. We had a guided tour. Imagine if you did a self tour or could take hours. So much to learn. And fact that you can touch makes it even more mesmerizing.

Magnifico! The bestia archeological place in Campania. Less people then Pompei, that's a park and not just an open air museum.

Not to be missed if you are anywhere near and of possible ensure you have a guided tour as it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Celento.

Historically well preserved and worth the drive from Naples. Avoid going there on the weekend, especially during high season😳

Incredible how these temples from 400BC have been preserved so well. The museum is being redeveloped: expected to reopen fully in October 2023, currently only 20% of museum is accessible. But all the outdoor sites are open. Parking very reasonable: €3 for 3 hours (August 2023). Definitely worth having a guide, though audio guides are available.

Temples and the most of the city is very well preserved. Yet, it is one place in Italy where you don't fight the crowds. Three town itself is beautiful with the fresh cheese farms and a wonderful beach. I'm sure it's way more crowded in the summer months.

Beautiful place. Did not go in but I could see everything from outside. Beautiful beach nearby too. Highly recommended

Interesting site to visit. €20 family ticket which included entrance to the museum so good value. Hot day but lots of trees to take shade under.

The most important monument of Paestum. A beautiful example of the influence of the great Greek culture in Italy. Awesome!

Size is everything. Official name is temple of Neptune not Posejdone. Take plenty of water in hot weather. Inside there is no way to buy anything like ice cream or water. You need to see it on your own no words will be enough
