Love this tavern for it's long bar and great staff. Large draft beer selection and wine on tap as well. They have an wide-ranging menu with many creative small plate items and burgers, and typical pub food with a unique twist. The pork belly tacos were some of the best I've ever tasted. The new favorite local tavern, as I'm relatively new to this locale.

** still amazing** This is my getaway to unwind with a few beers, good wings, pizza and awesome staff. Great crowd, most locals and college kids but not rowdy or rude. It's a hideaway place but I like it like that. The food is amazing, good tacos, wings and micro brew. When someplace is great you don't want others finding it..

I can't say that the tacos are perfect because I don't want them to slack off. Lol! Seriously though, I adore the tacos here. I need to try their pizza next. My work bff says it tastes quite delish! I'm from Jersey where NY pizza is my traditional go to... I'm looking forward to finding out next time I go. I also give a star less because my only issue with them is that they need more seating! Lol! 😁😁😁

Nice little place to have a good meal and maybe hang out with friends. Everything was cooked well and the food tasted deliciously. The staff was very attentive. This will definitely be one of the places I visit often. If they have the three meat sandwich, make sure you get it.

We were having a great time, good food… until people started smoking at the table next to us, completely ruined the entire experience! I looked and saw reviews that they restrict smoking until 10pm but it was well before 10pm and it smelled so bad in here!

Gotta work on the carding situation here, folks. Can’t sit at a table and NOT drink without an ID? I get that y’all are right next to a college but that’s a real great way to turn away business from grown adults. Heard great things about this place, wife had several great experiences here, and the tap selection but we’ll pass from now on. That policy is absurd.

Great small town bar. Very good selection of beers and a menu with a good variety of items. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food was excellent, portions are a little on the small side but the whole quality was perfect. Some reviews mention smoking, but I didn’t see any signs of people smoking inside. We will definitely return if back in this area.

Was absolutely appalled to be told by a bartender last night “you can wait or go somewhere else” when we very politely got her attention and told her we needed service when she has time. We are in the industry so we understand the chaos. But absolutely unacceptable

Place doesn’t suck it’s just the server that sucked. Plaid long sleeve shirt, short cut , dyed one strand of hair… this girl needs to learn some hospitality skills. Check in on your guests, don’t just forcefully take their drink away. Not once has she checked in. Only came by to grab a drink away from me aggressively almost like trying to claim her territory. Waited so long. Luckily another bartender came by. She was super sweet. Horrible service with that other person. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry in nyc for 10 yrs…this is unacceptable and kills business. Won’t be coming here anymore. I felt super unwelcomed.

Started off with a flight - definitely recommend the Shacksbury Blackberry Lime Cider. Light, crisp and fruity! Roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon, bleu & Swiss cheeses were awesome. Also enjoyed the bang bang shrimp wrap and dim sum pork belly burger! Divey but delicious!!

Literally the best Pub I’ve been to. All our food was amazing. So amazing, that I ordered a large cheese pizza to go because I’m sure it’ll be equally delicious. Service was top notch too.

This used to be a 5 star bar. But idk if they lost a lot of staff or if the managers got lazy. But the service here has gone down the drain. 10 minutes to be greated at our table. Took for ever to put our order. Glasses sat lt empty for minutes. Check never came. Had to go up and ask for it. The come bring it back. Terrible service. THEN they forged a higher tip than I left. So now I have to go back to get my money back. Never coming back here again.

Great place. Service was excellent. Food was great and reasonably priced. Special Note. The menu lists chips as a side with most entrees. Thought they were serving same o same o potato chips out of a bag. Instead they serve deep fried potato "chips", which were very good.

Very nice hole in the wall. Not a dive bar at all. Good bar food but you're there for the drinks. They had a very good selection of beers and drafts.

Been coming here since I turned 21. Always manage to have such a great and welcoming staff. The vibe is chill, even when it’s not. The food is fantastic.

Reasonably priced food that's much better than one might expect. Not a fancy place but the staff is nice and the beer is excellent. Try the wings, these are not BS wings. Overall it's a good place to relax with friends and have a great beer. Totally recommend grabbing a fancy bottle, they stock some stuff that can be hard to find!

Had thanksgiving here with my whole family and it was great! The staff was amazing and the food and drinks were great as well! Definitely recommend this place.

After moving back to the Lehigh Valley, I was looking for a place that resembled the hip spots you’ll find in either Northern Liberties or Fairmount in Philadelphia. Liberty Tavern completely fits the bill. The beer selection is eclectic. The bartenders and staff are super cool. The vibe is a hybrid of 30 and 40 something’s and college students from Muhlenberg. The food is extremely delicious and clearly uses fresh ingredients. I even returned with my pups to sit outside. The team member brought water for them and many others came out to say hello. Liberty Tavern has an all around great vibe! I’d highly recommend it!

Excellent service! We didn't try food this time, but they had some pretty good sounding choices. Looking forward to trying the McDaddy pizza. Just drinks this time!

Wish I could give less stars. I’ve been in the service industry for 12 years and I’m embarrassed to be in the same category as the men who “served” my family and I tonight. I’ve been a patron of this bar for many years now but you bet I’ll never return after the rude remakes and obnoxious service we received this evening. Good food can’t make up for terrible service. Do Better. Be kinder.

Cool college bar with alot of beer options. Recently went for lunch and my out of country friend who got mugged in Philly and they stole her license wasn't allowed to dine with us using her native Brazil id stating her age. We said she would just sit with us and get beer, no problem. They wouldn't allow it. Kinda annoying but I'm sure it's a stupid rule because college kids sneak in. No biggie

The food was amazing! The staff was also very friendly. We ordered a pizza and the loaded nachos. Everything was so fresh. Definitely a great place to visit!

I recently moved to Allentown last month and I tried this place for the first time. Very good burgers and fries. The beer is awesome! 10/10 would come back to this place.

Have been here several times and it is a great corner bar and restaurant. Staff is friendly and attentive no matter how busy they are. Beer selection is good and always changing and all the food I have tried has been amazing! We continue to come back.

I don’t know about the other food here, but what are you expecting your customers to eat when your pizza looks, smells, and tastes like completely burnt toast. I mean, Come on, I’d be embarrassed to put this out if I were the chef.. I get some parts could be burnt, but I’ve had lots of pizzas in my lifetime, and this.. this just isn’t it.

The Pizza is amazing. It didn't look all that great, but it sure tasted good! Great beer selection every time I stop in. The outside is Dog Friendly (but be warned, it can be a little smokey out there thanks to cigarettes). Fun staff. A great neighborhood bar.
