I used to love this gym. Now, however, it has become a den for dirty, loud, classless people. They overcrowd the area, doing nothing but occupying machines while talking/arguing with friends. People blast their music on actual boomboxes. I can't speak for the women's locker room but the men's lockers are always broken because people break into them. The bathroom always smells awful, the sauna is a joke. Ignorant men think that it is a steam room and constantly throw water all over the place, including the ELECTRIC heater, (even though there are signs saying not to do so) which then makes it malfunction. They leave their water bottles, towels, snacks (yes, they eat snacks in the sauna!) all over the place. They go into the hot tub/pool area in underwear (men and women) instead of actual swimming attire, the showers are always a mess with left behind personal products, underwear, torn curtains, and mold. I used to feel like this place was such a great gym to workout in...that is the past. DO NOT JOIN. Anywhere else is better, and that is why I am finally leaving. Can't take it anymore!

I’ve had a member ship for almost a year and multiple machines have been broken ever since I began working out here. The gym is not taken care of and is very dirty most of the time. Other gym goers do not have gym etiquette when it comes to putting back their weight including past and current “trainers”. It is extremely frustrating to dedicated gym members who come to work out and consistently have to wait for machines because people are texting or even reading books and doing the bare minimum. Do NOT come at night time, it is absolutely packed and you will never get to machines you would like to use do to a group talking or machines being broken. The bathrooms consistently have bugs flying around and if you’re a female, there are dirty pads in the shower stalls as well as the bathroom stalls on the floor. Cannot wait to find a new gym ASAP.

I actually live much closer to the LA Fitness in Easton but this one is a million times nicer so I make the drive every weekend when I’m in town. If they could put a little TLC in the locker rooms this place is 5 stars all day. The staff here is friendly, equipment is for the most part in working order and on the weekends it doesn’t get all too crowded.

I went in for a guest pass to give it a try. I tried it when it was new and clean. I don’t think they’ve changed anything since it opened. They have only 6 kettlebells. No turf, one true squat rack. When I arrived I had to wait to be given a sales pitch. Then the woman tried to hold my driver’s license while I worked out and argued with me when I told her I would keep it with me. She said I needed to talk to her about when I was done anyway to activate my 3 day pass. A lot of their weights don’t match and everything was very dirty. When I finished I told her I wanted to just take the pass and not sign up right away. She was clearly very angry and became extremely rude. I didn’t even feel comfortable going back.

Took a tour of this location and attended twice as a guest. SUPER dirty and smells like an old gym. Treadmills were covered in drink stains and had dirty towels in the cupholders, the pool is cloudy and not cleaned/shocked regularly. Way too many people at this location with way too little deep-cleaning. (And honestly, I’m not blaming these LA Fitness employees, I think corporate should step up and hire more maintenance workers/custodians instead of hoarding their $2 billion net worth.)

He's demonstrated passion for helping me to obtain the best membership that fits my personal needs. He is charismatic, professional and well-spoken. I felt no pressure in the enrollment process. These qualities that have served him well in his role as AGM in sale. That is why I chose to become a member here at LA fitness. I will recommend him to all my family and friends.

This has become the new norm for how to fix things. If it weren’t for the rate I’m locked into for life, I would have moved on years ago.

This location used to be good. Gym is becoming dated. Consistently crowded, including the basketball court. The clientele has a lot of Latinos that have moved to the area from NY - many are loud & rude. Mold in shower grout & poor ventilation.

The gym is crowded, and it's difficult to get on equipment forcing you to modify routine or skip portions of routine. Staff is overall disconnected from customer service. I've been a customer of other LA Fitness gyms and had a more positive experience at those other gyms. For what you pay and what you get, the value is not there.

If you're on a 9-5 schedule like I am and only get to go to the gym in the evening after work, this is the place. Taylor will make sure that you have everything you need as well as understand everything about the membership. They even have a daycare that's open from 4-8pm Mon-Thur that's only $10 a month, AND THEY CARE FOR INFANTS AS LITTLE AS 3.5 MONTHS!!! It's an awesome place with awesome people.

Best gym in the area!!!! Lots to offer for a reasonable price.

I rarely write any reviews but I feel corporate has ignored this club for awhile. “New barbells” have been ordered since march of 2022, still waiting, there are more benches and racks than working barbells. Everything breaks down and its seldom fixed. This club has gone downhill, it used to be decent. Oh and the same machines- no updates for 4 to 5 years.

The manager was great. The front desk staff need a lot of improvement. To busy on her phone to even look or address anyone standing and waiting for them. Otherwise, the place is very clean and they have everything you can think of that you would need.

They told me about doing a Personal training membership for only $165.00 for 6 sessions but then tell me when I want to cancel the program that I have to pay 800.00 dollars for it. They did answer me week prior when I had asked about the issue instead they ignored me later told me they would freeze it never did anything about it until I came in and asked about it that when the 800.00 dollars came up. The gym is way to expensive. And not affordable or try to work with you.

It would be such a nice gym if they weren't more concerned about volume, too many members at every moment of the day. Machine cushions need cleaning and replacing. Too many upfront costs to join. Broken machines stay broken for too long. On a positive note, there are a lot of machines and you can get a good workout here.

Great facilities, though a bit crowded. Very diverse mix of members, with a full range of ages from early high school to retired folks and everything in between. This gym has everything, free weights, machines, cardio, classes, daycare, basketball court, racquet ball courts, a sauna, a pool. Decent price for the amenities and hours, well worth it for the area!

Great staff and knowledgeable, Outstanding service and plenty of experience. Place is clean and safe. Equipment and accessories are available as well equipped with resistance machines, free weights, and plenty of more to do, swimming pool with plenty of secure lockers. again can't go wrong 👌 in attain ing a great sweat and feeling that is satisfaction.

Great clean gym. Got a day pass and used while on a business trip. Staff, specifically the GM Paula was great. Will definitely return again!

This place is terrible. No heat in aerobics room for two weeks! It’s unhealthy to work out in 40 degrees. It’s as cold as outside. Place is dirty and bathroom is always lacking supplies. Only reason I go is because it’s close to my house. Don’t do it!!

I love going here ! I love the Zumba classes that they have, the ladies are wonderful! It’s always a great atmosphere here and I love the general manager, Paula. She always works with me and always has the best customer service.

This place is great. I’ve been hooked since my first walkthrough. When I tell you I look forward to just showing up after work and getting my PUMP. I’ve lost 33lbs in 5 months and will continue going. Is safe to say I’ve fallen in love with working out do to La Fitness and its great STAFF from the front DESK down to the TRAINERS and Kids CLUB. I give them a 5 out of 5 in my experience.

The racquetball courts are always dusty which makes them a little slippery. Good thing the dust mop is accessible. We clean them before we play.

Appreciate the membership that lets us go to Any we can across the country! They all seem consistently similar older but cared for! Pool jacooz saunas

This club is phenomenal. The atmosphere and socialization is second to none when compared to other gyms. All of the staff are super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

The staff and trainers at LA Fitness are the most professional, supportive, and knowledgeable fitness team in the Valley area. The facilities are comprehensive and include a dry sauna beyond the first-rate equipment in the gym. If you are looking for a sports/fitness club then look no further than LA Fitness in Allentown!

My experience here was amazing. This was my first time exercising inside of LA Fitness. Ms. Paula made me feel extra special and made sure I had everything I needed before and after my workout. If I lived in the Allentown area this would definitely be my new workout spot!

I'm not sure about this place yet. I'm not that impressed with the receptionist that I dealt with. She was very unprofessional and seemed to be in such a hurry. I explained that I wanted yearly prices rather than monthly and one would think that as a customer service person, she would be all over that! But she could care less. My boyfriend has a membership there and if he didn't I would have walked out! I seem to be in a bit of a quandary. I sure hope the rest of the team there are more pleasant!

Everytime I come to the gym Asalia is always in a great mood happy and full of great energy! An amazing person for sure. Lexi in sales, has been very helpfull, knowledgeable and she will be able to assist with your fitness goals.

I have been coming to this gym since April and there are two employees that have really gone above and beyond. Antonella in kids club is incredible. She is kind, loving and patient. My children get so excited for kids club knowing that she will be there. The other employee who has far exceeded all my expectations is Paul, a personal trainer. Paul has shown me kindness and respect as a beginner at the gym. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that my fitness journey has been smooth sailing.

I absolutely love this Gym! It has everything you need for very little cost. When you consider what the other local gyms offer, it is nowhere in comparison to what is actually given to you from LA fitness. I met with Lexi and she was so informative and helped me feel confident in my decision for the package that worked best for me. And always greets me when I come in. Now that’s service which has been in most other gyms. I definitely would recommend if you like swimming working out and cardio individual classes and group classes. It’s the best place to start your work out plan

I would love to say that I love my Fitness center @LA FITNESS the crew is outstanding Paula the manager is very helpful and understanding towards the members needs and wants helps whenever possible. I would recommend La fitness to any one who is trying to achieve their goals Thank you to the crew and for keeping my gym clean and operational for all of us.

I’ve been recommending this gym to everyone i know. Great energy and great people. The environment is filled with energy so you can always get a good work out in.

I love the classes and instructors. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, a few avoid eye contact. Most of the members are nice too. I've made some friends there. Pool is usually cold but if you start moving around it's not terrible. It is kind of icky sometimes, weird stuff floating around and there's been a piece of chewed gum in the corner of the pool for months. I see some complaints that the big room is cold. Yes it is but if you're not sweating by the time you leave work harder. Cleanliness needs improvement. There's always hair in the women's showers and locker rooms. I mean, people should clean up after themselves but they don't. Dust bunnies in between the equipment, need to use the crevice tool on the vacuum.

This was such a nice gym. The sauna is very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and updated. The kids club was great as well. Very clean and lots of room for the kids to run and play. The staff was super friendly. I can't wait to go back.

The staff is nice. They know my family's names and so on. The people at the gym when I go are nice, but some people will be average people when it comes to consideration.

Gym is great and all the amenities as well. Staff not so personable. Ands unless they hire a caring individual with early childhood education experience, I will never send my child to the child care center in Whitehall PA. An employee was yelling at children.

great gym and there are very nice workers there. they want you to have a good time and are always there if you need assistance. highly recommend. this gym also has a pool and courts along with classes and lots of exercise opportunities.

Janitorial staff is the only saving grace at this location. They do an excellent job cleaning up. In the two years of membership there has never been enough barbells, attachments for cable machines or racks. General staff if dismissive and could care less about improving the location. I have been to a few other LA Fitness locations which blow this one away in terms of equipment. If it wasn’t the closest to my location I would not be a member anymore.

Mario was extremely helpful and courteous as I am an out of town guest. Very clean in comparison to gyms in Oakland, CA. Pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend
